50 Shades of "Oh Matron!"

I just saw this on The Daily Mail Online and I just couldn't help myself to the "Oh Matron" reference pun...well now that I think about it this and every other innuendo/pun is really a given when talking about the film adaption of the E.L James 50 Shades Of Grey.

As you can see from this still of the film that's being shot over in Canada at the moment that the film is now actually being filmed now, as before filming even started there were a lot of rumours and things going on behind the scenes that were slowing this film down making everybody wonder was this film actually going to get made, for instance Charlie Hunnam had to drop out after being cast as of scheduling conflicts with him starring in Sons Of Anarchy,-but it did seem a bit weird to me when this happened, as surely when the studio was in talks with this actor to put him in this film they would of sorted this all out so that there wouldn't be any scheduling conflicts-, then the date of production got put back, rumours were rife that Robert Pattinson was going to be Christian Grey then he said no and then there was a rumour going around that Aaron Taylor Johnson was going to be doing it but he's in the new Godzilla film.

And apparently Universal Pictures had to file a lawsuit against Smash Pictures who were going to make their own porn version of 50 Shades Of Grey,-really, how can you do a film that is deemed more pornographic or even pornographic at all when 50 Shades Of Grey is all about torture and punishment for sex and The Submissive and The Dominant, it already sounds like a porno to me, but hey ho,- but the case got settled out of court and Smash Pictures agreed to stop all further production.

In production: Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson have already begun shooting scenes for Fifty Shades Of Grey

Now I've heard that Rita Ora is set to get a bit part in this movie too with landing the role of Mia Grey (the little sister of Christian Grey).

This adaption of the E.L James film is set to be released on Valentines Day 2015.

Hold the bus....New Hitman news!

When I saw this headline today I have to say that this did get me very excited as being a massive fan of the Timothy Olyphant "Hitman" film I was a little bit anxious that all news on whether this film was going to get filmed at all had seemed to me to have gone quiet as you may or may not already know that the reboot of this film was one of the many projects that Paul Walker who recently died in a car accident was going to do.

But now according to The Wrap the actor Rupert Friend is currently in talks to replace Paul Walker to star in this film which is now going to be called "Agent 47",- this I hope isn't going to be the only thing about the film that is going to be changed as you may or may not know that stories have already been circulating that the storyline for this film is that Agent 47 is now retired, out of shape and has lost his crown as the best at what he does which is killing people and he now wants this title back, but I think this sounds like a rubbish, storyline and if these talks don't work out and the studio wants to get Timothy Olyphant back as Agent 47 then it'll have to come up with a much better storyline for this movie reboot,-.

Aleksander Bach who is already known for directing adverts is said to be directing this new reboot that 20th Century Fox will distribute using a script written by Skip Woods, Kyle Ward and Michael Finch, with Chuck Gordon, Alex Young and Adrian Askarieh producing and Daniel Alter executive producing.

I just thought that this sounds to me like the studio are trying to give this new film a fresh new approach, so with this new approach to the film I hope that the film will still be as action packed as the last film and that it will be as cleverly written and not just go straight to DVD.

But as these are just talks at the moment we'll just have to wait and see if Rupert Friend who you may or may not have seen in "Pride and Prejudice" (the Keira Knightly version not the Colin Firth version) will actually get the role or not.

Veronica Mars Trailer!

I do realise that by putting this up here I may appear as a massive geek/saddo but I do have to say that when I first saw this trailer up on Empire Magazine's website the other day I was a bit excited to see the trailer finally.

Here it is, for your viewing pleasure...or if you just want to see what it looks like if your curious:

This also is the new poster for the movie out in the US on 14th March 2014, but there is no release date for when it'll be released over here yet, so we'll just have to wait and see and as soon as any news of this comes out an update will follow. The movie which is co-written and directed by Rob Thomas the creator of the original series.  The story for this is that Veronica has moved out of Neptune and put her Jessica Fletcher sleuthing behind her, and as she is graduating law school and going for interviews at law firms in order to get a job she gets a phone call from he ex boyfriend Logan saying he needs her help as he has been accused of the murder of his pop star girlfriend, so off she goes back home to Neptune to help Logan find a good solicitor but of course Veronica is drawn back into her old sleuthing ways as all about the case is not what it appears.
