STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING RIGHT NOW AND READ THIS: LUTHER SERIES 5 IS ON IT'S WAY!

I was perusing the internet the other day and I saw this on DigitalSpy.com's website and I have to say I was really excited as who doesn't want to see another series of Luther.

You may or you may not have heard that for some time now there has been talk about there being another series of Luther being shown on BBC One at some point but the only information I have been able to find out about this is just teaser trailers that don't tell you much other than Idris Elba will be back to reprise the role of Luther...and now thanks to DigitalSpy.com we now know when this will be coming back to TV and how long we will have to wait for this series.

Also thanks to Digital Spy.com's website there is finally a trailer for this series 5 "Luther", here is the YouTube.com link below for you to take a little peak at the official trailer for series 5 and see what you think:

According to DigitalSpy.com's website this new series will "bring something new to the table" and that this new series will force Luther to confront his past as well it coming to BBC One on January 1st 2019 at 9pm with the series finale being aired on Friday January 4th 2019.

I'm a massive fan of this show and cannot wait for this to come back for another series and I still can't believe it's taken this long to make another series as I would have thought after the last series and especially after it looked like Alice had died and Luther thinking that she wasn't really dead that there would have been another series filmed straight away so we the audience could find out if Alice was really dead or not.

Anyhew...according to this same article on DigitalSpy.com's website Ruth Wilson who plays the character Alice is set to reprise her role with the actress teasing that there have been talks of her character getting her own spin-off and Idris Elba according to this same website also teasing that this series is not the end for his character either...so could this mean that there is more series's to come if there is I can't wait!

And as well as this Hermione Norris who you may or may not recognise from "Cold Feet" will be joining the cast of this new series.

DRUM ROLL PLEASE!....NEW! DVD RELEASES FOR THE NEW YEAR!

I was just perusing my e-mails this morning checking up on last minute Christmas shopping gifts and having a huge wave of anxiety of did I choose next day delivery or did I just choose the standard delivery which means all the items I've bought online aren't going to get to me until after Christmas...which is ridonculous when all these online sites have Christmas sales as well as delivery cut off times especially for Christmas so it would be nice if these websites could give you a little heads up if this is the case instead of just saying in the e-mail confirmation they send you after the fact that it won't get to you until after Christmas so you have to cancel the said item...and I saw a very interesting e-mail from Amazon which piqued my interest...the release dates for:

Venom on DVD and Robin Hood on DVD

Venom is fingers crossed is said to according to Amazon's website due to be released on DVD on 4th February 2019...so I'm thinking this is one date that is not to be missed and one for the diary!

Robin Hood fingers crossed is said to according to Amazon's website due to be released on DVD on 25th March 2019.

In case your wondering panic was averted all last Christmas gift items I've purchased online are going to be arriving on time and Christmas won't be cancelled this year...PHEW!

!WARNING THE BELOW MAY CONTAIN A BIT OF A RANT SO IF YOU DON'T WANT TO READ ON LOOK AWAY NOW!

Now I went to see this new Robin Hood film with all my family and we all really enjoyed watching it and we couldn't figure out why or how this film had got so many bad reviews because first of all this is a Robin Hood film and who doesn't love to watch a film about Robin Hood...there's "Disney's Robin Hood" that is a really good film, "Mel Brooks's Men In Tights" that's a hilarious spoof and a must see if you haven't seen it yet and not forgetting "Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves" and well "Robin Hood" that starred Russell Crowe,- (which if you ask me is more of a guessing game as to what accent Russell Crowe is putting on throughout the entire film than being able to concentrate on what else is happening in the movie, but it's still good to watch when there is absolutely nothing on the TV to watch),- and there was a lot of action in this film which was fast paced so the whole story of the film feels like it's not being dragged out to be an epic Peter Jackson film with a running time of three hours, and well I did anyway feel like when the film finished like "oh is that it?" like you know when a good song has been playing on the radio and then it suddenly finishes.

Secondly...now this is where this may sound like a bit of a rant, I was reading on Collider.com's website a couple of days ago an interview they had done with the director of "Mission Impossible: Fallout" in which he was saying that he doesn't think that the academy give out awards to films like "Mission Impossible" because he feels that they forget why people make films in the first place for people's entertainment...and after I saw this film I have to say that I think that I agree with him here as critics have said this is a bad film but to be honest I didn't see anything in this that wasn't entertaining or that would make me think that this was as pants as the critics have made this film out to be and because of this I just had to jump onto Amazon's website and pre-order this on DVD as I really wanted to know when I could purchase this and see this film again...and now I think about it this would probably make a better movie to see over the Christmas period than the films the TV channels have advertised like "The Greatest Showman" being advertised as a film that everybody would love to see over Christmas or "Love Actually" or "Bridget Jones's Diary"...as I think that everybody from children to grandparents would find this really enjoyable with all the action scenes that had bows and arrows in stealing from the greedy sheriff of Nottingham and the Church to give to the people who really need the money to the big action sequence at the end where the people steal all of the money with Robin and how they manage to get it to the forest.

And now that I think about it critics absolutely panned "Suicide Squad" and this still received an Oscar for best hair and makeup...so this just shows you how little critics really know.

But on the other hand I do have to say that there are parts of this film that I think that bring this film down like how at first when I saw the trailer for this film I thought it looked like it was the follow up to Guy Ritchie's "King Arthur", and it looks like the film makers have tried to make the story for the film a bit like the one in "Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves" with how Robin is told he has to serve in the army to fight over in the Crusades and meets Jamie Foxx's Moor character after he is arrested along with his son for fighting against the armies of England and Robin then gets himself arrested for trying to stop Jamie Fox's son from being executed and then Jamie Foxx's character follows Robin back to England. Robin's leather coat looks like something from AllSaints, and there are many times when Robin just doesn't keep his scalf over his mouth to keep up his disguise and at the end of the film there seems to me like the film makers have tried to put in to this film an epic Batman sounding instrumental like the music that was in Christopher Nolan's Batman films.
