I was just perusing the web and I just saw this...according to the Express Magazine's website Matt Smith is set to join the cast of "Morbius The Living Vampire" film with Jared Leto in Sony's next comic book adapted movie after "Venom" who will play Dr. Michael Morbius who tries to cure his rare blood disease but accidentally becomes "pseudo-vampirism" which mimics all the qualities of a vampire so he has to digest blood in order to survive, he has the ability to heal, he has superhuman strength, can fly and has a strong aversion to light.
According to Variety.com's website Matt Smith will join the cast of "Morbius" along with Jared Leto and Adria Arjona who will play the lead female character in this movie Martine Bancroft who according to Wikipedia in the comic books was Dr. Michael Morbius's fiancé who he escaped to New York from Greece because of his vampiric condition to find a cure for his condition in order to protect.
Other than this Variety.com's website doesn't say much other than it being a major role in the movie.
Burke Sharpless and Matt Sazama will write the screenplay for this film and Daniel Espinosa will direct this film that according to The Express Magazine's website will be released in the UK on July 10th 2020 with Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach producing "Morbius" with Lucas Foster and Palak Patel will oversee this movie for Sony.

YOU'LL NEVER GUESS WHO'S THE NEXT BIG NAME MOVIE STAR TO MAKE A COMIC BOOK MOVIE...VIN DIESEL!
You may or may not have already heard that the star of "The Fast and Furious" films Vin Diesel is set to star in the first Valiant Comics comic book adapted film "Bloodshot".
According to DigitalSpy.com and Collider.com's website the official synopsis for this Sony produced film is Vin Diesel will be playing Ray Garrison a.k.a Bloodshot who used to be called Angelo Mortalli a soldier who was subjected against his will to the experimental Project Rising Spirit. With nano-computers injected into his blood and his memory completely wiped, Motalli becomes the pale skinned Bloodshot and with the ability to mind-meld with any computer, regenerating powers and the ability to shape-shift he struggles to reconnect with who he was whilst trying to learn what sort of weapon he has become aided by a team of fellow augmented combatants code named Chainsaw.
According to IMDb.com's website Dave Wilson will direct this film, the screenplay has been written by Eric Heisserer who also wrote the Oscar nominated "Arrival" and most recently Netflix's "Birdbox" starring Sandra Bullock, this will also star Sam Heughan who you may or may not recognise from "Outlander" who played Jamie, Eliza Gonzalez and Toby Kebbell.
Also according to Collider.com's website Sony have described this movie as:
"...tonally and aesthetically influenced by high-concept sci-fi blockbusters of the late 80's..."
So from this Collider.com are thinking of films like "Terminator", "Total Recall" or "Robocop".
So...this may make me sound very cynical but I'm thinking that this is going to add more money to the Vin Diesel empire along with the shit load of money he must be earning for the "Fast and Furious" films.

I was perusing the internet the other day looking if there was any further updates on "Birds Of Prey (and the emancipation of Harley Quinn) and I saw that not only have there been pictures from the LA set of this film circulating on the internet but there is now a sneak peak teaser video to show what the other cast members of this film will look like.
According to this YouTube.com link below this will give you an idea of what Harley Quinn along with villain Black Mask who will be played by Ewan McGregor, Victor Zsasz who will be played by Chris Messina, Black Canary who will be played by Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Huntress who will be played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead will look like in this new film:

..so I'm thinking that as the costumes for "Suicide Squad" particularly Harley Quinn and The Joker were popular choices for Halloween costumes that same year the film was released I'm thinking this might just give people some ideas for Halloween costumes in the future,-but that could just be me-.
