Finally! After already pre-ordering this film and having to wait what seemed like aaaaaaaaaaages I have finally just got an e-mail from Amazon.com's website saying when this will be released on to DVD and this is:
Drum roll please!
February 5th 2018.
Oooh! this to my mind has just missed out on what I would think was the ideal release time for it on DVD,-Christmas-, as I would have thought that if it came out around now when other people are bringing out comedy DVD's, CD's, TV show DVD's all adding to the various number of people's Christmas lists.
Well this date has been well and truly seared into my brain now that I know this and I can't contain my excitement.
I have to be honest when I first heard that there was going to be a new "Blade Runner" film released with Ridley Scott and starring Jared Leto, Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford, I instantly felt like "oh god, not another "Blade Runner" can't they just let this die with dignity like the "Alien" films"? but I also felt like if you were going to release a new one of these why wouldn't you involve Ridley Scott as he did create this film as well as the characters involved in this film.
So it's safe to say when I first saw this film advertised on YouTube and on the TV I wasn't immediately grabbed or interested in going to see this film at the cinema...but on the other hand I did really want to go and see this at my local cinema as Jared Leto was starring in this film as I am a massive fan of his movies and the band 30 Seconds To Mars.
But after I saw this "short" that was directed by Luke Scott on YouTube I think it's fair to say I had changed my opinion on this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UgsS3nhRRzQ
If your like me and haven't seen the first film then I urge you to see the first one now as this might help get you to understand what is going on in this story as the events in this New! "Blade Runner 2049" take place 30 years after the first films events...but if you haven't seen it yet I'll fill in the blanks for you:
In the future Harrison Ford plays Rick Deckard who used to work in the police force but now tracks down Replicants as a "Blade Runner",-these are bioengineered with synthetic skin and only live for 4 years to stop them from learning too many things i.e emotions and therefore its for safety that they only live for 4 years and the only way to spot a Replicant is by using the Voight-Kapff test to provoke a emotional response,- but as there is a law that says all Replicants have to live in the other world territories and if a Replicant comes to Earth the penalty is death he is out of work until he gets called in by the police telling him 4 Replicants have killed everyone on board a ship bound for the other world territories and are heading for Earth he needs to find them and stop them, but he finds out that the only reason they have come to Earth is to find Niander Wallace who had made them because one of them wanted to know how they could prolong their girlfriends life, but once these replicants find out from Niander Wallace himself that they've tried everything to do this but failed as every Replicant died in the process he gets killed by the Replicants...and he also finds a girlfriend himself in Niander Wallace's secretary "Rachel" who is a special kind of Replicant with an unknown amount of lifespan that he runs away with at the end of the film to avoid being arrested and for her to avoid being found out as a Replicant.
Ok I admit it, me and my sisters sat down straight away when we first heard there was going to be a NEW! "Blade Runner 2049" to see the first film to see what it was all about as we had never seen it.
I wanted this blog's words to look like they had a similiar look to Rolling Stone Magazine as that Magazine is to me a god like magazine. I also wanted this blog to be like me with fresh, new and exciting news about all things music and film based.

I heard the other day to my delight when I was on Facebook that Stevie Wolf was going to be releasing some NEW! music...and thank god that this dropped onto the Internet before last Thursday as I am a massive fan of this guy and having to wait to listen to this new music was killing me, and as I am a massive fan of all of his songs so as you can imagine I was so excited I just couldn't contain myself...I was jumping around like Christmas had come early.
So of course I just had to listen to this and download this song "Who" and if you haven't heard this yet here is the link below:

I have to say that like all Stevie Wolf's other songs it is getting stuck rather annoyingly,-is it such a bad thing when the song is soooo good,- in my head all the time and it is taking ages to get it out.
If you haven't heard of any of Stevie Wolf's music before why the hell not?! I urge you now if you haven't heard any of his music before stop whatever your doing right now and download it now!, here is the link to hear some of these songs on YouTube:

Is the song finished? That came a bit quick, let's play it again".
And here is the link on The Indie Folkx's channel to "Getting Through":

Hold The Bus! No Sam Mendes to direct the next Bond film Christopher Nolan might direct?
I saw a headline last night on the internet saying "Christopher Nolan fan favourite to reboot James Bond" and I know that I've not been blogging on here for a while but I didn't realise that Sam Mendes wasn't coming back to direct Bond 25.
Anyhew...I have just read on The Express's website that according to Barbara Broccoli one of the producers of the James Bond film franchise has said that:
"We've got our Daniel; we've got we've got to find our director. We've got to find the director. We're working on the script and we'll see...Hopefully by the beginning of the year we'll have more news on all those fronts."
So this as you can imagine has started up a whole new rumour mill among James Bond fans who is going to get this...and according to this same website the top of this list is Christopher Nolan and also according to Archivo 007's website:
"On this occasion, two different sources, one from the United States and the other from the United Kingdom ...tell us Nolan will be the director and that he is already working on the film."
This website goes on to say that:
"These solid sources foresee that the official announcement can be made in January or February 2018".
I have to be honest as a James Bond fan myself that as soon as I read this news my first thought was that this definitely must mean that Tom Hardy is going to be involved in this next James Bond film in some capacity either Bond himself or as an interesting idea from the Express's website a villain.
This next Bond film is set to be released in the UK in November 2019.
But in another article published on The Express's website Christopher Nolan has said about the possibility of directing a James Bond film to Playboy Magazine:
"Maybe one day that would work out. You'd have to be needed, if you what I mean. It has to need reinvention; it has to need you".
So this sounds like to me that if Christopher Nolan were to direct a James Bond film one day then he might have a go at rebooting the franchise...and The Express's website has as you can already imagine started thinking of the ways that Christopher Nolan can reboot this franchise.
One of their imagining's is that Christopher Nolan could take the franchise back to the original period which the author Ian Fleming set his books which were set between May 1951 and February 1964.
And of course they've suggested that Tom Hardy could be the shoes once Daniel Craig finishes his turn in this franchise, or Christopher Nolan could make James Bond a woman or that he could keep the franchise still in the present as Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson and co. have made since Daniel Craig was cast in the role as James Bond.

God...this feels like I'm having to shake off the dust of this blog as I know I haven't been on here for aaaaaaaaages you can thank this bloody flu of mine that really hasn't wanted to leave.
