First name pulled out the hat for all girl expendables!

Variety Reports that the first name that has been attached to this project is the former MMA fighter Gina Carrano who you may or may not have seen in Steven Soderburgh's 'Haywire".

Adi Shankar will produce this first female Expendables film under the banner of 1984 Private Defense Contractors (the PDC is expected says Variety to fully fund this project).

This is the first name that has been pulled out of the hat after first hearing that this movie project was going to go ahead, and just adds to the ever growing and exciting list of films that Gina Carrano will be involved with as she is already attached to the Fast and Furious 6 film which will this time take place in London this time, and she is also attached to In the Blood which Variety says is a:

"...Taken-esque action thriller...."

This is all that has come out so far so I can only hope that this is the first of many more pieces of news about this, so hold onto your horses and get strapped in!

Twilight part 2 trailer!

I saw this on IMDb.com the other day and this I have to say looks like there will be a lot more action involved...I have to say thank god for this as I was a little bit disappointed with the first part of this last movie in the Twilight saga of films.

The story for this in case you don't know is that the Cullens get lots of other vampire clans to help them protect protect Renessame from the Volturi as a false accusation makes the Volturi think that she is a vampire child and from their history vampire children aren't suppose to exist.

But although trailers are just snap shots of movies that are suppose to pique your interest so you actually go and see the film I do have to say that now seeing this trailer after having read the harry potter sized last book I think little bits of this film have been done differently to the book,- (I relise that these parts of the book have been changed or done differently to the book so as to make the film more action packed and therefore more interesting to the people who will go and see this film when it comes out on the 16th November 2012 in the uk, here is the link to go to to see the release dates in your country:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1673434/releaseinfo )

But after seeing this I think even if I did go and see this to see what it is like I think that there might be more action and I think I would enjoy the book more and to be honest when I read this book and then finished it I have to say that I really wished I hadn't finished it as I really enjoyed reading it as a lot happened in it.

And after seeing the 1st trailer for Sylvester Stallone's new movie trailer "A Bullet To The Head" I really wanted to see this movie:

The story for this is that after seeing their respective partners die a policeman and hitman team up to get the guy responsible

This did to me look like a really exciting film, that looks very different to "The Expendables" where it is just a bunch of aging action film stars going out in a film for one last hurray before they all come to the realization which I think Sir Paul Mccartney hasn't come to yet but needs to be told by someone especially after that shambles at the Olympic opening ceremony that their careers as action stars are over.

Come to think of it now with all names like Sylvester Stallone, Jean Claude Van Damme, Dolph Ludgrum, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger I was surprised that Chief Steven Segal wasn't in this line up....this I think would probably be a lot more in keeping with the theme of aging action film stars rather than having Dogeball's Chuck Norris (I still think this was a bizarre casting choice for this movie)

There are a lot of tatooes Sylvester Stallone has them, his daughter in the movie has them but it looks like no one else in the movie has them, so I just thought it's maybe to make his character seem more badass than just a hitman who sometimes wears a sharp looking suit.

This will be released in the UK on the 1st February 2013, here is the link for other countries where it will be released:

TED 2!

I heard this piece of news a couple of weeks ago and I have to say that it was and still is the best piece of news I have heard all year so far.

According to the Hollywood Reporter Steve Burke NBCUniversal's CEO has said at 'The Bank Of America Merril Lynch 2012 Media, Communication and Entertainment' conference that took place in LA that the big mothership of NBCUniversal Universal Pictures will focus more on film franchises and increase it's animated film output over time so as to strengthen it's film business.

He also said in this same conference session that his team wanted to do Ted 2 "...as soon as we can...".

But this next one will be of course directed by Seth McFarlane.

I have just found with the help of Amazon.co.uk that TED will be coming out on DVD over here in the UK on the 26th November, Woohoo! I can't wait!

He also said that:

"In terms of franchises, Fast Six will come out next year, and people can expect the studio to work on further Bourne movies after the recent Bourne Legacy".

Empire though doesn't hold out much hope for both these sequels, but I do have to agree with them at how the next Bourne  story has got to be a lot better than the story in the Bourne Legacy as I left the cinema with my dad after seeing this feeling a bit like there was something needed to finish this off and that it really didn't have much of a story and that it was more of a snowball film...meaning that it was setting things in motion and things were going to snowball into one big event.

But this sequel could see Matt Damon back in the fold as he has mentioned in a interview that he would like it if there was some kind of storyline where Jason Bourne and Aaron Cross team up in some way.

I'm back in the UK!

I'm finally landed back in blighty last night and now I'm going to be off to Top Draw London, so it's all systems go, go, go!

Paris was amazing! and to top it all off on the last day of staying in Paris me and the famile went to have lunch at L'Avenue Restaurant on Avenue Montaigne on the Champs Elysee and at the table across from where we were there was Ted himself Mark Wahlberg having lunch...I have to say that once me and my sisters saw he was there we got very excited and all the quotes from the film started coming out.

The apartment where we were staying at was amazing it was in the heart of Marmartre and the view from the apartment was right on the steps of Sacre Coure (sorry to any french people reading this if the spelling is wrong), and it was all systems go with  long nights and very early mornings on the metro to and from the Parc Expositions where me and my sisters company Scicheck Ltd. were doing a trade fair at Maison Object,-which we massively underrated as we all brought comfy shoes but with the size of this trade show we really should have brought hiking gear tent included as it felt like it took several days to get round just one of the many mazes of halls and 3 days for this was really not enough, if you wanted to get round all the halls then you really needed to stock up on water and snacks, you really needed a map, a compass and a well planned gap year to see everything that was here-, I thank god for Youtube and my own internal playlist of music that was on constant play as I don't know how me and my sisters would have survived!

To survive this week of walking around like zombies in the Paris heat Youtube was on morning, noon and night thankfully!

Important tunes to wake up to:

These songs were for  me very important for me to wake up with and to have stuck in my head all day,-although I am going to see both The Dead Famous and Ben Montague in concert which I am absolutely siked for and I can't wait to see both these amazingly talented artists did probably make me want to play these songs more than usual but I already do love these artists and this may sound a bit weird but I do constantly carry these artists songs around which makes any place I go a lot better-, which made me feel a whole lot better as I was suffering from flu during this week in Paris...fantastic just what you need when in Paris!

I do have to say though I love 'The Dead Famous-Hide Your Halo' but when I first heard it I'd automatically get Chrisitina Agulera's 'Stronger' which really was annoying for a while but now everytime I sing this wherever I go Christina Aguilera has gone....thank god! now it's nothing but uninterrupted 'Hide Your Halo' !.

I really love Elissa Franceshi and after I heard 'Rainbow on Fire' I brought her album which I urge you to have a listen to if you haven't already yet, or if you haven't got the album yet go and get it, download the songs and love the album...anyhew I think I may have druven my parents a little crazy by playing these favourite songs of mine from her album 'Into the Light' that I played every day and every night.

I just have to say this even though I think that it may sound a bit much, I think that 'Rocks and Tears' is an absolutly perfect song to be played on The Vampire Diaries when there is an emotional scene going on as I think it is right for it as it is is sooo cool like all the other tracks they play like Hurts, Ed Sheeran, Pheonix, The Civil Wars and Florence and The machine etc and it has the same kind of emotionality as these other tracks,-talking about perfect cool tracks that should be played on the UK Vampire Diaries Of Monsters and Men Little Talk.

Annoying tracks that got stuck in my head:

When I first saw Christina Perri's 'A Thousand Years' all I could think about is how much of a fire hazard it was that there were so many lit candles!

And of course no night is complete without a little bit of LMFAO:

Review: TED

This may be a little premature to write this review but I just couldn't resist after I had seen this with my sisters.

What can I say about TED...TED is fucking hilarious! And I have to say that the audience is absolutely polar opposite to each time I saw 'The Dark Knight' as each time I saw this film the audience was soooo quiet you could hear a pin drop, and this happened each and every time I saw this film.

Anyhew...the audience including me and my sisters were in fits of tears with how hard they were laughing at every moment of this film.

If you think that the trailers that are all over the TV are the only funny bits in the film you are dead wrong, I really think that whoever cleaned those clips up to make into some sort of trailer for this movie is a miracle worker because these aren't even the whole clips or even the proper ones for that portion of the movie it's from.

From the get go of the film you are in fits of laughter with TED walking in to Mark Wahlberg's parents kitchen after he first comes to life with Mark Wahlberg's mum saying to TED 'Your like the baby jesus' to the voiceover guy saying that 'over time as with everything nobody really gives a shit about a talking bear' and then this cuts to a montage of TED through the years being taken away in handcuffs by two policemen at airport security then having his mugshot taken...to now where he sits on the sofa all day with Marky Mark with a bong smoking drugs...right up until the moment where Mark is late for work and TED drives him to work with huge wooden blocks on the foot pedals of the car but then he smashes into a parked car that is waiting to get rented...."My bad I was sending a Tweet".

The most hilarious part though of this movie is when because both TED and Marky Mark have grown up obsessing over Flash Gordan (which I also grew up with) and TED throws a house party after he gets thrown out of Mark Wahlberg and his girfriend Lori's (Mila Kunis) apartment after he invites over four prostitutes and one of them 'Sauvignon Blanc' has a poo on the floor and TED says after they come home 'Sauvignon Blanc, she's balsy' in his new apartment and Flash turns up and instead of Mark Wahlberg being at a works do with his girlfriend he slips out to see Flash and when Lori finds out he gets dumped and stays at a hotel and says some harsh things to TED, but TED then follows him and is soaked through but because it's such a shit motel he still opens the windows to the outside gardens and then he has a huge fight with Marky Mark involving some hard hitting, some pulling down of pants and spanking of Mark Wahlberg's ass with one of the TV aerial then the TV falls on his stomach.

But both of them ending up saying to each other "I love you man".

But there is also a hilarious point when TED gets a job and wears a little suit to the interview and tells the manager of the big Cosco like store he gets a job at that he slept with the managers wife and then the manager says 'No one's ever spoken to me like that before, your hired'...but when he gets caught having sex with his girlfriend in the back of the store while it's a busy time at the store he tells the manager that the other day he sold a carrot he used while having sex with Tammylee his girlfriendand then he sold it to a family...the managers reply is that that is balsy and that we need someone with balls you're promoted.

But with this there is also a sad part in the movie when TED gets kidnapped by a weirdo dad and his even creepier overweight son and they get cornered at an American football team's ground and while TED is climbing to get away from the weirdo dad he pulls on TED so much so that TED rips in two and dies, but Lori has the idea to take him back home and sow him up but it doesn't work and Lori wishes on a shooting star for him to come back to life and as you would expect that Lori and Mark Wahlberg get married and Flash Gordan is the minister that does the service.

This for me is a 5* comedy film and if you haven't seen it yet I strongly urge you to go and see this or if you are waiting for this to come on DVD make sure you preorder this as you do not want to miss this film as I'm betting that it will be sold out pretty quickly!

I have also just found on Amazon UK that you can get your hands on an actual TED and I am not kidding you, it is true:

New Music!

I will be away for a bit so there won't be very much news on here for a bit but do not fear I will leave you with some fantastic new music that I have heard lately.

One of my favorite films recently is 'Drive', I just love how it's all got a 80's style to it and it also feels very much like a film noir but most of all I love the music and I have to say that there has been one song from this movie that I just loved when I first heard it in this movie and I always meant to after my first viewing of this film to Youtube it so as to find out who the band is that sings it, but I always forget and then it always used to annoy me that it got played in the Sky adverts and then someone would ask me "who is the band that sings that?" and I'd always have to say "I don't know".

This is my favourite song from the movie but while I was listening to this yesterday I came across this other song used in the movie and I have to say that although it's not my favourite it does get stuck in my head...but in a good way, right up until it was going round and round in my head and I couldn't go to sleep as it made me want to listen to this song and then wake up and watch the movie.

Also, I just had to put on how every time I see the L'Oreal Elvive advert with Claudia Schiffer in I always think that the song being played in the background is Claire Mcguire but I heard the full version of this song in an episode of Home and Away the other day and I have to say I was wrong and thanks to Youtube I found out that it was "The Temper Trap-Lost Love".

This video reminds me of the hellish cross country running I used to do at school and this really reaffirms for me how much I hated P.E!

Anyhew....I really think this has to be on my summer chilled list along with Jack Johnson, Ben Howard and most importantly The Virgins for making me so chilled out and relaxed that it transports me mentally to the beach...if you haven't already got it yet you definitely need to buy yourself a copy of  The Virgins first album 'The Virgins' as I got this for Christmas last year and I popped this on the CD player and instantly was transported from glum Britain to feeling like I was lying by the pool in somewhere very hot and to far far away land!

Also I just had to put these other songs that I'm loving at the moment:

Boy Like Girls 'Be Your Everything' I really like this video, I love this band and have been a fan of these guys since I first heard 'The Great Escape' ages ago,-I have to say that this song does occasionally come into my head and because it's been a while since I've played this on Youtube I always find myself thinking who sings this, but thanks to Youtube (I have no idea what I'd do without Youtube) I refound out that the band who sings this is 'Boy Like Girls'-.

Greenday "Oh Love", I absolutly love this band and love 'Basketcase', but recently it did really annoy me as the other day I was watching the build up at Reading Festival to Kasabian coming on the main stage and instead of showing these guys they showed 'Florence and the Machine', I have to be honest I loved the songs on her last album 'Lungs' but I really do think that she can now on some of her songs overdo the one high note she can hit, and that night she really went over the top and made me question whether she actually has some lungs on her (pardon the pun) or could you stick her album on in a spa while your trying to get relaxed for a facial treatment, i.e is her music just whale music?

Anyhew...in the break of her slapping the floor of the stage over and over again they played a snippet of Green Day performing Basketcase and these I have to say looked incredible in that snippet and had all of the crowd really hyped up with some of the crowd even doing their own mosh pits, and I was thinking that Green Day's set looked much more exciting than Florence's set so I was left wondering why on earth did they just leave this on rather than cutting back to Florence's set.

Also I have to put on here Ben Montague's new son Another Hard Fall I absolutly love this guys voice and am a massive fan of him since I heard 'Haunted' and saw him at the glee club in Oxford ages ago with my sisters...although there weren't very many people there it was a fantastic gig that made me feel very sorry for him as he is very talented and I thought back then that more people should really take some time and listen to his music as it's fantastic and this song is no exception to "Haunted" and "Love Like Stars".

If you've not heard anything from this guy yet why on earth not and if not just have a listen to any of his other songs or why not book yourself to one of his gigs and see him live as he is just fantastic live, or better yet as this was released on Sunday on Itunes why not go along to Itunes right now and buy yourself this.

Also I cannot post this without mentioning "The Dead Famous" and their new single and video for "Hide Your Halo":

I really like this video and I really like the song and like every other time I Youtube this band I just have to stop what I am doing and listen to all their dongs as they are all soooo addictive to listen to...but I have to say that they are amazing live so much so that I am going to see them again on October 1st, I suggest that if you haven't already heard any of their songs you need to drop everything that you are doing right now and switch over to Youtube and listen to all of their other songs and I guarantee that you will become an instant fan and then if you've listened to all of their tracks go and download their song 'Superstar', if this isn't giving you much of a reason to download this track you might warm to more to the idea that this download is free!

You now have no reason to not download this track!

I have to say that the black and white parts of this video makes me think of Sin City and I love the sparks flying off the flames that are in front of the lead singer, but I have to say if I knew I was shooting a music video and was told that you have to stand behind some sparks that will be flying off from a fire I don't think I could stand there and look as cool as James (lead singer) does...I think I would have to take a couple of steps back to feel that there was a comfortable distance between me and the sparks as I wouldn't want any of these sparks flying onto any of clothing that I was wearing as I think I would have a fear of these setting on fire.
