Star Wars: The Force Awakens in depth behind-the-scenes pics post 2!

Also John Boyega who will play the character Finn, Lupita Nyong'o who you may or may not have recognised from the previous post of pictures that is pictured with all the white spots all over her face, but you may or may not recognise her from films like "12 Years A Slave" who played the part of Patsy, and Daisy Ridley who will be playing the part of Rey are just some of the new faces which also include

 
 
 

 
Domhill Gleeson from films such as "Never Let Me Go" who played the part or Rodney who wants falls in love with a girl from the same mysterious school that Carey Mulligan's character, Keira Knightly's character and Andrew Garfield's character live under very strict rules such as they have to wear electronic tags to sign in to the house every day and night and when they come of age they watch each other have operations for something, but he wants to run away with this girl after hearing a rumour that a couple from a similar school did this and the school realised they were in love but left them alone and didn't bother looking for them.

  
Also I have to say that among these familiar faces are the lobster looking character that you may or may not recognise from "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back" as the Commander Gail Ackbar, who led the Republic amongst others which included Luke Skywalker and the Starfleet Command in it's fight to destroy Darth Vader and Death Star II, and it looks like the character that helped Lando pilot the Millenium Falcon during the fight in "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back" and had a fight with Lando when they realised that the Death Star II's defence shield was still operational and hit the Millenium Falcon and Lando says "Can you fix it?" is back.

 

Oscar Isaacs also looks to be one of these new faces that you may or may not recognise from films such as "Drive", he played the character that was married to Carey Mulligan's character and was killed during the robbery at a pawn shop that unbeknownst to him and the Driver played by Ryan Gosling is a front for one of the mobs cash houses, and most recently he was in "The Bourne Legacy" as Outcome #3 who Aaron Cross meets when in the field once he goes over the mountain after loosing his chems after running away from a pack of wolves that have been tracking him and after he makes a 25ft jump from one rocky side of a mountain to another.

 
It also looks like Warwick Davis looks like he'll be making a return as well to the fore but this time not in the guise of the Ewoks from "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back" more in the guise of a bumblebee person.

You can also see from these images that J.J Abrams still manages to stick it to The Storm Troopers as of the huge explosion that you can see.

But again it is amazing,-well I think it's amazing,- how much time and thought goes into producing massive productions of the Star Wars sets and ships, making sure that they would not only fit into the Star Wars universe from the image of the blueprints of the star ship but also from the image of a team of people making the star ship making this go from just an idea that is on paper to an actual thing that looks exactly like this or as near to these drawings as possible.

From these few images I'm already excited and I bet just like me other fans of these films as well as you will be too, but you don't have to wait long as the film will be released in the UK on 18th December 2015 according to IMDb.com, and for all other countries please go to the website and click on the December 18th 2015 release date and scroll down to the relevant country.

Ok I've done my best to not write anything on here regarding Star Wars because I really didn't want to ruin this new one for myself as I am a huge fan and I thought that if your are as huge a fan as I am that if I put up a load of info and images that no one would thank me for ruining all their excitement and fun by knowing beforehand every little detail about the film,...but I saw these and these just made me want to break my silence.

Four days ago on Collider.com's website I saw these images:

According to Collider.com these were just some of the images from the behind-the-scenes show reel that director J.J Abrams showed the fans that had camped out for days to be at the Comic-Con panel, and as you can imagine most fans of the Star Wars franchise including myself went silent according to Collider.com, as I have to say that these images that Collider.com have very kindly grabbed from the footage that LucasFilm and Disney revealed to the what I imagine were droves of fans that were probably crammed into the hall where this panel took place just to watch this in depth behind-the-scene footage from the new "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" film, are amazing and a must see treat as it may just be me but it really does give you a sense of just how big a production these films are, i.e there are what looks like J.J Abram's own little army of make-up artists, prosphetics designers and makers,  location scouts etc. that look like to me at least like they work extremely hard to make any and all ideas of either J.J Abrams or the studio come to life exactly or as near as can be to any and all original ideas.



 

        

 

 
 
 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 


As you can see from just some of these images,-and bear in mind that this is only the first post with some behind the scenes footage from this in depth look from "Star Wars: The Force Awakens",- that there are some recognisable characters that are back for this film like Chewbaka, R-2D2, StormTroopers and The Millenium Falcon...which just has to take a starring role in this new film as with all the other friendly faces coming back for this film as I'm sure all Star Wars fans like me will agree that a Star Wars film without these characters just simply isn't a Star Wars film.

But...it does also show that there might be some new faces turning up in this film like Simon Pegg...now I do have to say I am a fan of this actor ever since I saw "Shaun Of The Dead" but when I first saw these images of Simon Pegg I did think "How On Earth Did Simon Pegg Get In This Film?", but then again it is directed by J.J Abrams and he did direct StarTrek so that's maybe how he got into this film.

And I have to say from some of these pics it looks like there maybe a new Jabba The Hut in town and with a his very own Princess Laia but this time not chained up and not in a bikini...I guess times have really changed and moved on!

What What What!...may be nothing but Fight Club may be a rock opera.

I was just perusing Collider.com's website for some news on Star Wars that I saw yesterday and I came across this and I just didn't know what to make of it so I thought I'd put it up on here and leave it up to you to make up your minds about it.

According to Collider.com author Chuck Palahniuck tweeted via /Film:

"Julie Taymor working with David Fincher on a FIGHT CLUB rock opera? You didn't hear it from me #SDCC"

Dated July 12th 2015, but this says Collider.com has now since been deleted which males me think that he has tweeted about something he shouldn't have i.e he may have been under strict rules like many actors and anyone involved with comic book movies like with the Christopher Nolan Batman films I heard that the name for these movies were secret as well as all details so that the media would find any information out about the films and therefore ruin the surprise for potential audiences and also probably now I think about it so as to not see lots of groups of fans at the film locations that would probably ruin filming as they would be making lots of noise due to their excitement at seeing any behind-the-scenes footage, and now somebody has seen this and has swiftly and sharply reprimanded him for doing this.

But it looks like that according to Collider.com's website Chuck Palahniuck said to MTV back in April that:

"For the time being, I'm keeping it to myself. But right from the get go, when we signed that 60-page contract back in 1996, it gave FOX rights to create sequels and television and, so, I don't have control over a lot of that. Fincher is optioning the stage rights. He's finally moving on to the big rock opera. David says that there's been a rock opera for every generation, you know "Tommy" and then "The Wall", but there really hasn't been a really big one for the current generation-and he and Trent Reznor are really determined to make that happen. And David's been consulting with Julie Taymor, the director, and she's been kind of coaching him on what it takes to get a huge stage production."

So it looks sounds like to me that David Fincher and Trent Reznor really would like this to happen as it sounds like an interesting idea and they are getting help to see how this could be done into a rock opera but it doesn't sound like there is any financial backing for this to become a reality...so maybe this has been deleted as I'm thinking that if anyone at 20th Century Fox were to see this they might get a little bit pissed off that somebody is talking about this before they have had a proper chance to market it once this thing became a reality and things were put into proper motion.

Also according to Collider.com Trent Reznor is going to be handling the music, with Palahniuck saying:

"No, David said that he wanted to give Trent a year to put together the primary songs and most of the soundtrack and I think I'll hear it after that point".

But I think with everything sounding all still up in the air that this may or may not happen but if it did happen I agree with Collider.com that this will not come anytime soon and that we including myself will have to wait with baited breath to see if this actually does get made into a reality.

If you haven't seen it yet....Suicide Squad new trailer lands!

I know that it's been a while since I've been on here and I apologise for this but I have seriously not been well and today is the first day that I've felt well enough to blog...but mostly seeing this trailer has got me fired up and excited to blog about as this is definitely a must see.

Here is the link for you to see the amazing trailer for Suicide Squad that is now finally up on line after months of what feels like to me a never ending steady stream of pieces of behind-the-scenes sneak peak info and images that have definitely wetted my appetite to see this film.

And I have to say that when I first saw this trailer it looked like to me that you the audience see a lot more of Will Smith's Deadshot and it looks like to me that when it cuts from the government types that have put this team together that say that there is inbuilt complete deniability and that if anything goes wrong you could just blame the bad guys that Deadshot's character has been made to look like yes he does bad things but he is a family man with there being what looks like a shot of Will Smith's character hugging a little child.

So it looks like to me that the filmmakers are saying that some of these bad guys aren't all bad.

But I have to be honest, when I was watching this trailer I was thinking "Ok, I've seen Harley Quinn, I've seen Captain Boomerang, I've seen El Diablo, I've seen Enchantress in a bath for some weird reason, Rick Flagg, I've seen the government types, I've seen Killer Croc, I've seen Katana wearing a white half mask on and Slipknot but where's Jared?"

That I realise may have been because as like a lot of you out there have seen through many Facebook posts from Jared Leto himself that have been making the rounds on various websites or magazines or from other images and other videos that have been making the rounds on the internet...and I have to say that he turns up at the end of this trailer.

And he doesn't disappoint with his entrance in this trailer and eventhough I do realise that this is just a trailer and you the audience just get a glimpse of what the film will look and feel like it does look like to me that Jared Leto may deliver a stand out performance with how the slow walk into the scene before his character says with what looks like two electrodes in his hands and says he's not going to kill you, he's just going to hurt you really really bad, it creates a atmosphere of what is he going to do and who is he going to hurt.

And he to me really looks the part of crazy.

But this according to Empire Magazine's website wasn't all from the Warner Bros. panel at San Diego's Comic-Con panel regarding it's film adaptions of DC Comics.

The cherry on the top for those at this panel was how Warner Bros. announced how they would adapt into films from the DC Universe Wonder Women, The Flash, The Justice League 1, Justice League 2, Aquaman, Green Lantern Corps (yes, your eyes are not deceiving you this really does say Green Lantern so it does look like the movie world is trying it's luck one more time with this DC title and maybe wanting to make up for or wanting to try and make all audiences forget about the Ryan Reynolds film), and Cyborg.

I can't wait for this to be released now I've seen this in the UK on the 5th of August 2016 and also is the same day in the USA...nice to know that neither us over here in the UK won't miss out on this highly anticipated film by a day as so often is the case with the USA getting to see all the films first.
