Assasin's Creed Update!

You may or may not have seen this on the internet but I've been really busy travelling lately and now that me and henry (this is the name of my suitcase) have landed back home safe and sound this is the first time I've been able to sit down and catch up with all the latest movie, music and other exciting news.

Anyhew... I just read on Empire Magazine's website the exciting news that after what seems like to me an age that Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemont has confirmed the release date of this long awaited gaming series that will be adapted to cinema and this release date he has said will be 21st December 2016,-but I have just seen on IMDb.com that this date is in fact the USA release date and that the UK release date is 30th December 2016, but judging by how long this film has taken to even start production and how long Micael Fassbender has been attached to this film this could change- as well as production for this film officially starting.

Also it was reported by Deadline Hollywood that Marion Cotillard,-who you may or may not recognise from the "Batman: The Dark Knight Rises" film as the villain of the piece Talia al Ghul the child who was born in the prison which is built into the ground that Ra'az al Ghul's 'great love' was put in and Bane played by Tom Hardy was her protector but was attacked by other prisoners but the prison doctor left him in constant pain and together both her and Bane plan to destroy Gotham and the man who killed her father Bruce Wayne-.

Justin Kurzel is directing with Michael Fassbender is said by Deadline Hollywood to be one of the producers on this film that will be released through 20th Century Fox, also producing is Frank Marshall, Arnon Milchan, Jean-Julien Baronnet, Conor McCaughan and Pat Crowley. This film will be co-financed by RatPac and Alpha Pictures.

This film is said to maybe use the Italian Renaissance period as to when the movie is set

Bill Collage, Adam Cooper and Michael Leslie will be writing the screenplay for this.

This isn't the only game being turned into a film though, according to Deadline Hollywood Ubisoft Motion Pictures and New Regency are set to turn Tom Clancys' Splinter Cell series of videogames into film with Doug Liman directing and Basil Iwanyk producing and Tom Hardy starring.

Hopefully having had all this long build up these films better be good!
