And the hits just keep on coming for Rita Ora and for X Factor

I was just perusing the web this morning after hearing Nick Grimshaw from Radio 1 wasn't going to be coming back after this series of The X Factor to see who else might be coming back or if there would be any additions to the judging panel after hearing this news...and I saw that not only is Nick Grimshaw not coming back but  Caroline Flack had also been axed and that it has been suggested that in a bid to shake up next year's series of "The X Factor" Simon Cowell is planning to be giving 1 Direction's Louis Tomlinson a role on tThe judging panel...so it looks like not only are the ratings for the TV show are in turmoil but it looks like the actual show could be in turmoil too and that the suggestion of the show "taking a rest" might be the best option at the moment.

Also I have to say I not only saw news of this on The Mirror's website but more news has come out about Rita Ora's on going lawsuits between her and her label Roc Nation...and then some.

According to The Mirror Rita Ora wants to leave "The X Factor" and according to "a source":

"Rita is one of the hottest properties in entertainment so it is no surprise The Voice producers want her back".

This source goes on to say that:

" X Factor ratings were dismal last year so it is no surprise Rita is keen to walk away..."

This source continues to say that:

" A return to The Voice is very possible because she loved being a coach last time"

This "source" also reckons that:

" They (the producers) were devastated when she moved to The X Factor last year. But now it looks like she won't be doing the next series, it means they've got a chance of poaching her."

Not only this but you may or may not already know that Rita Ora has lately been fighting it out in the law courts with suing Jay-Z's Roc Nation record label with her team saying that Roc Nation have been holding back songs deliberately from her and giving them to Rihanna instead and that the record label has been promoting Rihanna and over artists on the label more than her, and in a counter lawsuit Roc Nation have sued her for breach of contract saying that she was contractually obliged to deliver five albums and she has only delivered one so far, and they're also suing her for the money plus damages the label has put into marketing and developing this second album which she has failed to deliver so far.

But according to The Mirror's website:

" Jay-Z is said to be happy to release the star from her contract..."

Not only this but also according to this website Rita Ora has had to discard as many as 100 unreleased songs, some of these tracks include ones that were written by Jess Glynne, Charlie XCX and Dianne Warren.

Oh dear it looks like things are going from bad to worse for Rita Ora as you may or may not already know that she has already had to discard one album that was produced by her ex-boyfriend who is also signed to Roc Nation Calvin Harris.

So until these issues can be sorted out Rita Ora will have to continue working on collaborations to keep up her level of exposure if she is to keep her name in the music charts and more importantly to keep her name in the papers and the magazines.

Oh My God, Oh my God, Oh my God...this is The sort of best news I've ever heard especially on Valentines Day The New Ghostbuster's has a trailer announcement

Oh my God, Oh my God, Oh my God I just saw this on Latino Review and I just had to immediately stop what I was doing and put this up here for all to see...Sony Pictures has released a trailer announcement that although there isn't a trailer as of yet for the new Ghostbuster's movie there is this which shows some footage of what this new look movie will look like and that there will be an official trailer for this new movie released on March 3rd 2016...so  says Latino Review as of an article that was posted on their website yesterday.

Here is the link to watch this announcement via Youtube:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zen753JD5kI

I love these films and can't wait when the first official trailer for this movie gets released, and I really can't wait for when the actual movie which will be released over here in the UK on 15th July 2016...as it seems to have taken forever to get this movie made.

Also I've just seen these exciting stills over at IMDb.com which has only got me more excited about this new movie:

http://www.imdb.com/media/rm1199762176/tt1289401?ref_=ttmi_mi_all_sf_1#

I apologise that I couldn't put these still pictures from this movie on to this blog but my computer seems to be working against me instead of working with me. Bloody computers!

It is good to see,-from a fan point of view,- though that the proton power packs that were created in the original "Ghostbusters" by Dr. Egon Spengler have been kept along with the Ghostbuster car. I also just thought although this is just an announcement by Sony Pictures have made it does feel a bit like to me anyway a teaser trailer as there is obviously going to show the new "Ghostbuster" crew of  Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones...and Chris Hemsworth as the secretary, and Andy Garcia as the Mayor of New York City, Michael K. Williams, Matt Walsh and Neil Casey. But there also looks like there might just be some surprises to watch out for when this first official trailer gets released as there looks like they've still got the "Ghostbuster's" logo, the "Who You Gonna Call" slogan is still there, and the police cars are still there...but just what else might this new movie have in store for moviegoers I wonder?

Well we'll just have to wait and see what these surprises are when the trailer gets released on March 3rd 2016.

Did you know that The Evil Queen Ravenna from "Snow White and The Huntsman" had a sister?...no nor did I but she has now apparently she has in the new "The Huntsman:Winter's War"

You may or may not have heard but for a while now there has been in the works a sequel of sorts being made of the infamous "Snow White and The Huntsman" which starred Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron and a whole load of CGI dwarves some of which were none other than Nick Frost (shrunken of course), Ray Winston (again shrunken), Bob Hoskins, Ian McShane/ or you might recognise him as Lovejoy,- I'm sorry I just couldn't resist,-Eddie Marsan, Toby Jones, Johnny Harris and Brian Gleeson all shrunken down to dwarf size, as well as Sam Clafflin who's character William pretends to be part of the group sent by Ravenna (Charlize Theron's character) to kill Snow White after she escapes the castle and runs through the dark forest in a bid to get away from Ravenna who killed Snow White's father and basically does a "Mummy" style thing and sucks the beauty and youth out of people in order to stay young forever, and in order for the spell that her mother put on her when she was younger to be complete she must have Snow White's heart...as it says in the movie "...by pure blood it is undone..."

This film though you'll probably remember more so because during the filming of this the director whilst still married had an affair with Kristen Stewart.

And also in my opinion Charlize Theron played a really good evil queen Ravenna a bit too well if you ask me.

Anyhew... yesterday Empire Magazine and IMDb.com put up the new trailer for this prequel called "The Huntsman: Winter's War", here is the link to it on IMDb.com's website:

http://www.imdb.com/?ref_=nv_home

As you can see from this trailer for this prequel...Emily Blunt who plays Freya Revenna's sister looks to be just as badass but with a difference, that difference being she becomes the Ice Queen and hides herself away in a wintry palace and gathers herself an army of warriors that have been trained in combat from childhood to become hardened fighters that love combat more than anything else...and this of course was all because her sister Ravenna was jealous of how Freya's baby would grow up to be "...the fairest in the land..." and also because she didn't listen to the mirror about not harming the child as if she did it would make her sister even more powerful than she had ever known.

But one thing this movie nor the new movie trailer for this film seems to have explained is where is Ravenna's brother from the first movie or has the filmmaker's just breezed over this and started this story all over again as if the storyline from the first film never happened?

But this does seem odd to me as Empire Magazine's website says that not only is this a prequel of sorts with it being set before Ravenna's run in with Snow White as it shows how she betrayed her sister, but it also shows events after Ravenna's run in with Snow White as Empire Magazine's website says that "...which sees Ravenna restored after her clash with Snow and Eric using the Magic Mirror and all manor of trouble for the residents of The Enchanted Wood..."

Which by the looks of things ends with a big ol' fight between both sisters which I imagine could go on for a while as one turns everything into ice and the other has been around for a very long time given the amount of youth and beauty she has stolen from people through the ages.

It also looks like to me both the new and the old stories have been incorporated for this new film with there also being a few new faces added to the cast list in this film with the addition of Jessica Chastain among just some of the new additions in this film.

This time around Cedric Nicolas-Troyan has directed this film and it will be released on April 8th 2016 in the UK.

Rumour has it that Charlize Theron might be joining "Fast and Furious 8"

I have just seen this headline on IMDb.com's website and I have to say that being a fan of this film franchise this did pique my interest.

According to Variety.com Charlize Theron has had an offer to join the cast of "Fast 8" as a new villain.

Although Variety.com does say that Universal Studios is eager to add Theron to the ensemble cast, the website is unclear where negotiations stand at the moment and there has been as yet no word from Universal Studios.

Catching up on all the Fast and Furious news updates especially the ones from the PR foghorn machine for these movies himself Vin Diesel, this poster reveals that this F. Gary Grey directed next film in the franchise is set to be released on 14th April 2017 ( in the UK), and Fast and Furious 9 will be released on April 19th 2019 (in the USA), and Fast and Furious 10 will be released on April 2nd 2021 (in the USA).

According also to DigitalSpy.com Furious 10 will ultimately end the franchise altogether, with Vin Diesel saying that:

" Universal has been so good to me and so trusting of the vision...they have been like family... I promised the studio I would deliver one last Trilogy to end the saga."

Now that I think about it, this will be a very sad day for all the fans of this film franchise...to not have a Fast and Furious film being released into cinemas it'll be like the end of an era, like there will be a big whole,-now that I think about it this will probably make other filmmakers nervous as film studios will want to fill this gaping whole once these films stop being made with something as equally action packed, something all age ranges of cinema goers will want to enjoy watching and something that is as equally good-, what will fans of this franchise be left to do but sit twiddling their thumbs... I've just thought that maybe that when these films finish this would be the perfect timing to release another "Need For Speed" as there has already been talk about making another one of these thanks to the "Fast and Furious" franchise.

Anyhew...also according to DigitalSpy.com inside sources on these set of films have said that Eva Mendes's character Agent Monica Fuentes that you may or may not have seen in "2 Fast, 2 Furious" and at the end of "Fast and Furious 5" might return for "Fast 8" and rumour also has it that she may team up with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's character Hobbs and Vin Diesel's character Dominic Toretto to take on a new villain in New York.

And it has also been rumoured that as of the sad passing of Paul Walker his brother Cody who along with his brother Caleb came in on the last film to finish any scenes of Paul Walker's might return in this "Fast 8" as some sort of relation to the character Brian O' Connor, and it has also been rumoured that Kurt Russel's character Mr. Nobody might make a return, and it is hoped that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's character Hobbs might make a return, along with Tyrese Gibson's character Roman Pierce, that Ludacris's character Tej Parker might also return and it is also hoped that Michelle Rodriguez might return to reprise her role of Letty Ortiz.

But it is also said by Variety.com that Jason Statham's character of Deckard Shaw is expected to return to reprise his role in this next film.

But it has also been quoted in this article of DigitalSpy's from the main man himself, Vin Diesel that:

"There are so many (casting) options!"

He goes on to say:

"You've got Nathalie Emmanuel's mother (to cast). You've got, of course, the matriarch to the Shaw brother's !".

Nathalie Emmanuel played the hacker in "Fast and Furious 7" Ramsey that Toretto's crew along with Mr. Nobody rescued from Jakande's terrorist group who had kidnapped her as she had created a piece of software called "The God's Eye" that allowed you to see anybody from anywhere allowing you to hack into anything such as CCTV camera's, phones, camera's at ATM's etc... and they wanted to have it.

So it looks like the casting net has been thrown wide open for this or for the other two films in this franchise, and it looks like this net is set to only get wider as DigitalSpy.com says that Lucas Black who you may or not have seen in "Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift" and had a cameo role in "Fast and Furious 7" might be back for this film "Fast 8" as according to this same article of DigitalSpy.com's when Lucas Black first signed up to appear in these films he committed to a three instalment deal...so the guys over at DigitalSpy are guessing that Lucas Black might be back for "Fast 8" possibly even for the next instalments in this franchise.

And last but not least on this all you need to know about what's happening with the "Fast and Furious" films, you may or may not have heard that for the first time ever this film is hoping to film a segment of this film in Cuba with The Hollywood Reporter being told by Universal Studios that it is currently seeking approval from both the USA government and the Cuban government, but other locations for this film are New York, and according to DigitalSpy.com the filmmakers of this film franchise have been looking into Russia and Iceland for other possible film locations.

No word on what sort of high octane fast cars will be involved in this film or the other two installments, but all that F. Gary Grey would say though is according to DigitalSpy.com is that he looks to follow "Star Wars 7" director JJ Abrams style of both great action and a compelling story to mix for his first film in the "Fast and Furious" saga, by saying via Collider.com that:

" When you look at someone like JJ Abrams who gives you the spectacle and great action set pieces but also gives you character and plotting and narrative, I think it's my job-and my intention- to do both"

He went on to say that:

" You amp up everything, you work on the performances, you work on the story, you work on the action; it's not one thing. Hopefully I bring more to it, that's part of the point is to bring something different to the franchise while still satisfying what the fans want."

Hold the phone...Cast back for a new album!

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this news on Pledgemusic.com's website the other day,- I don't mean this in a bad way, but this just seemed very surprising to me as me and my sisters loved their music back in their heyday and hadn't heard any news about this band for ages-, and we couldn't believe that they were going to be bringing out a new album after all this time.

If your not like me and aren't aware or don't know who Cast is, which even to the sounds of me has my brain screaming "How could you not know who Cast are?" but I do realise that there may be some people out in the world who have not heard of this band before, here are some links to some of their hits on Youtube.com that might just sound familiar to you:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yx-yAjiG6jU&list=PLH1rLSfHXAAI0rnav0YgCl0gBzmF5dn90

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4D1qnK_JlXA&list=PLH1rLSfHXAAI0rnav0YgCl0gBzmF5dn90&index=6

According to Pledgmusic.com's page on this new project of the band's:

http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/cast2016

" "Baby Blue Eyes" is the first track from what will be the sixth Cast album, 20 years on from the debut album "All Change". The new album is available for pre-order only here on PledgeMusic..."

Not only can you pre-order this new album of theirs but if you pledge to this project of the bands you can get access to loads of amazing goodies such as a signed copy of this new album that you have helped make into a reality by the band for only £14.20, but you can get a AAA laminate pass signed by the band for their tour of this album ( you'd be very lucky to get your hands on these as their are only 10 available so if you want to make sure you get one of these I'd head to this page pretty quickly!) for only £20.00, as well as other cool things such as used and signed drumsticks for £30.00 and if you head on to this page now you could find way more cool stuff from the band...so what are you waiting for and get a wriggle on over to this page NOW as there are according to this PledgeMusic page only 39 days left so if you would like to own anything from this band I suggest you get a wriggle on!

Hold the bus....Matt Damon's back in the 1st trailer for Jason Bourne!

Omg I am sooo excited to hear about this piece of news today and I couldn't wait to see it when I first saw it trending on Facebook.

If like me you're a massive fan of the "Jason Bourne" film franchise and haven't seen this first trailer yet as you don't live across the pond in USA, or you didn't stream the NFL Superbowl over the weekend here is the link to watch it over on Youtube:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_gBnmKOixDM

So...as you can now see from this first look trailer of this new film where Matt Damon is back to reprise the role of Jason Bourne/David Webb, this looks like the long running plot line of Jason Bourne being a government trained assassin with amnesia has now come to an end and that this trailer seems to suggest that Jason Bourne remembers everything...well I had read an interview that Matt Damon did with GQ Magazine a while back saying that he felt that this amnesia storyline had run it's course and he also felt that he and the filmmakers had done everything they could with this...so I did think that maybe for this film that the filmmakers would go a bit,-I hoped- away from this amnesia storyline, but if you ask me this is a bit sad to be done with such a long running storyline as this has been a pivotal part of what makes these films so good as the audience are made to feel like they are going at the same pace as the character is to find out why people are chasing him and who are these people chasing him.

But I suppose all things have to come to an end sometime.

I do realise as I type this that this sentiment does sound very morbid and may sound very down beat and may even sound as if it's saying that this film won't be as good without this long running storyline of the main character Jason Bourne having amnesia, nothing could be further from this I guess this just shows how the film has moved on from this old storyline and into a new era, and I guess the way that this new movie has got a new title as well "Jason Bourne" instead of the title for this film being like the other films in the franchise such as "The Bourne Identity", "The Bourne Supremacy" and "The Bourne Ultimatum" or even "The Bourne Legacy" shows again that this film has moved on from the storylines of old.

Further plot details on what this film will be about are still few and very far between except for how this movie will be set in a post- Edward Snowden world, and it has been said by Matt Damon himself that this new movie will reflect the financially risky times of today.

But this trailer does look like Jason Bourne is doing some confronting this time instead of packing a punch to others whether it be in the words of Empire Magazine "...laying out opponents with one punch..." or whether it be with ramming several vehicles down a main road with a van and creating a massive road block.

Also, from this trailer it sounds like to me that,-fingers crossed-, Julia Stilles may be back as Nikki Parsons who was in "The Bourne Supremacy" who was Treadstone's logistical co-ordianator and was part of Pamela Landy's team that went on the hunt for Jason Bourne in Berlin after operatives from the CIA were killed trying to find out about the Russian politician Vladimir Neski's death and it was all set up for her and the CIA to believe that Jason Bourne had killed these operatives, and she went on the run with Jason Bourne in the "The Bourne Ultimatum" and then she changed her appearance, her name and her routine in this film as Jason Bourne told her "He couldn't run with her because they'd be looking for her now" but audiences see her at the end of the film smiling sat in a café somewhere at a news report that says the body of Jason Bourne hadn't been found.

But I have some questions though for the filmmaker's where is Aaron Cross in amongst this storyline?, or will this character actually be in this film? or has this character just been side lined for another film?...who knows.

But for now we'll just have to eagerly anticipate this film's release date of July 29th 2016.

Rita Ora being sued by Roc Nation

The other weekend I was reading in The Sun's newspaper that Rita Ora was going to be suing Roc Nation as according to her Roc Nation had lost interest in her career and had been focusing on Rihanna's career as well as Calvin Harris as well as it being reported that because of Rita Ora's and Rihanna's 'beef' with each other apparently Roc Nation had been listening to Rihanna and holding back songs that Rita Ora would have recorded and letting Rihanna have first dibs on these songs.

But now according to TheWrap.com Roc Nation have slapped a lawsuit on Rita Ora on Friday suing her for $2 million plus along with unspecified damages for four albums that have not yet been delivered.

Also according to TheWrap.com Roc Nation's complaint that it filed with the New York Supreme Court on Friday, Rita Ora signed with Roc Nation back in 2008 when she still an unknown and agreed to deliver 5 albums, only one of which she's turned over.

This complaint goes on to say that Roc Nation invested millions of dollars in marketing, recording, and other costs which were instrumental in guiding Ms. Ora to her current level of success and fame. And Roc Nation also claims in this same complaint to have sunk more than $2 million into her in-progress second album.

Roc Nation has also alleged breach of contract and want $2 million plus damages back along with unspecified damages for the four albums which haven't been delivered.

But this isn't the only complaint that Roc Nation has filed as TheWrap.com says that they filed a cross-complaint to Rita Ora's lawsuit in California with similar allegations on Friday.

But according to Rita Ora's attorney, Howard King who has said according to a statement provided to TheWrap.com that:

" Jay Z has personally and graciously promised Rita complete freedom from Roc Nation, the details of which are now being finalised..."

He goes on to say:

" We believe that Roc Nation's distributor, Sony Music, has required Roc Nation to file this action to preserve whatever rights Sony might have pending resolution."

This sounds like to me with her attorney saying this that Rita Ora's team believe that this lawsuit isn't coming from Roc Nation itself but from it's distributor Sony Music, and that this lawsuit isn't serious as Jay Z and Rita Ora and her team are trying to sort this out themselves so that this doesn't go to court...but to me the $2 million plus does sound very harsh to be wanting in a lawsuit but I'm guessing and to the sounds of it so does Rita Ora's team that Sony Music are covering themselves if this matter does go to court.

So with all this going on who knows if Rita Ora will be reprising her role as Mia Grey in the "50 Shades Darker" and "50 Shades Freed".

Kim Basinger to star in "50 Shades Darker"

While I'm on here blogging along the lines of "50 Shades" I thought I just might put it up on here that according to an article TheWrap.com wrote on 28th January Kim Basinger has signed a deal to play Christian Grey's former lover Elena Lincoln in the sequel "50 Shades Darker", and that Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson will return as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.

This sequel is set to be directed by James Foley for Universal Picture's and Focus Features and will be produced by Michael De Luca, Dana Brunetti, Marcus Viscidi and the author of these books herself E.L James with her husband Niall Leonard adapting both books and writing the screen play for both "50 Shades Darker" and "50 Shades Freed".

Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson won't be the only original cast members returning to these films though also according to TheWrap.com Luke Grimes who played Elliott Grey will be reprising this role, Eloise Mumford who played Anastasia's friend Kate who couldn't go to the original interview with Mr. Grey and Max Martini who played Max in the first film will also be reprising their roles.

According to TheWrap.com both "50 Shades Darker" and "50 Shades Freed" will be shot back-to-back and according to TheWrap.com Fifty Shades Darker is scheduled for release on Feb. 10, 2017 and Fifty Shades Freed will be released on Feb. 9, 2018. The release pattern effectively establishes the month of February as a new tentpole corridor for Universal, which has timed the series to the romantic Valentine's Day holiday.

Lets hope with all the news I heard from other movie news websites that E.L James will be happier with these film versions of her books.

But TheWrap.com website does say though that both these sequels are pencilled in to be up against animated movies from Warner Bros. so depending on what these are there could be some serious upsets as to which movie takes in the most money.

Well someone had to do it...Marlon Wayans has made a spoof version of "50 Shades Of Grey"

You may or may not have seen this yet but there is finally a spoof version of "50 Shades Of Grey" called "50 Shades Of Black", this for me at least had to be done and thanks to Marlon Wayans who wrote and stars in this film according to IMDb.com and Rick Alvarez who also wrote this movie.

Here is the link to the IMDb.com page where you can watch the trailer for this film in case you haven't seen it yet:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4667094/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

This to me looks like it's going to be funny and that it deserves you giving it at least a try as the original film of "50 Shades Of Grey" was in my opinion just begging to have a spoof film of itself made.

I say this because after me and my sisters gave into the mass wave of everyone talking about how they'd seen it and the actual film being marketed as "very steamy" especially with getting singers such as Beyoncé, The Weekend and Ellie Goulding to perform sexy sounding songs for this film which when me and my sisters saw it had more moments where we could imagine seeing something happening that would bring big laughs more than there being moments where you actually thought this is a bit of what it's said on the tin.

One of the big laughs has to be for me the main fact that Beyoncé, The Weekend and Ellie Goulding have written songs or rather in Beyoncé 's case covered her own song "Crazy In Love",- which to me sounds more just like a slowed down heavy breathing cover version of her own song,- and that these were the only sexy bits of the movie as the actual movie is more awkward than trying to be a "steamy film about S&M"... and that these were the only sexy bits of the movie and unlike all radio stations including my local radio station Spire FM saying girls will be dragging their boyfriends to see the movie as well as mothers will be dragging their husbands to see this movie if I was in that position I would definitely give the film a miss all over again and just change the fact I have this now on DVD and every moment just seemed like to me a head scratching moment one scene that springs to mind is the scene in "50 Shades Of Grey" where Anastasia wants to try out being hit with a paddle and afterwards she tells Christian "don't ever do that again".

But according to TheWrap.com this film of Marlon Wayans' has only scored a 14 per cent rating on Rotten Tomatoes and has many more critics including its own film critic Alonso Duraldo writing that:

"But we still wind up with a slapdash movie that's more unbearable than the heavy-breathing best-seller and it's emotionally timid screen adaption, even though the dreadful "50 Shades Of Black" has the audacity to think it's earned the right to mock the slightly-less dreadful "50 Shades Of Grey" phenomenon".

Ouch...that seems a bit harsh to me to say about a spoof film that is all about comedy which another critic has seemed to have forgotten saying:

"And it is prone to too obvious gags, including ones made by everyone, including your mother, who once texted you that she once read the book."

This seems also to me a bit harsh to say as the reason spoofs work as well as comedies is they hit you right in the face with the most obvious jokes to make you laugh out loud...and usually there are some subtler jokes interwoven into them but for the most part it's the obvious jokes that really make you laugh as audiences watching the film can probably see what the joke is for themselves but don't want to say it out loud and these comedy films just say "Hey I'm just saying what we're all thinking".

Anyhew...I get that some people are going to think this is funny and some aren't but these critics when they're writing their critiques of the film even they have to admit that some of the scenes they describe sound just a tad funny like:

"...(there's a 'torture' scene where Christian reads to Hannah from the book)..."

And:

"...Black's mother Claire's (Jane Seymour) mistakenly tasing of Hannah ends with her claiming she's 'standing her ground'

This could just be me that finds this last bit a tad funny, but now that I think about it as I write this I think "why would someone's mother be 'standing their ground' by tasering someone?"...unless this film was trying to suggest that their was more going on between mother and son...but I guess that's a whole other thing.

This film is out on 11th March in the UK and if your in another country and want to know when it's released just go to IMDb.com's website and click on the release date it says underneath the title of the film and it will show you the release date for other countries...so you'll just have to wait until then to see just how this stacks up and just how funny this spoof film really is.

There's going to be another Die Hard film on the film horizon? Han't there been enough already?...

You may or may have not heard already but according to both Collier.com and Empire Magazine's website Len Wiseman has announced that there will be a prequel/sequel to the Die Hard film franchise called Year One, where he told Collider.com that he "...wasn't going to do it without Bruce. I'm also not going to do it with Bruce being a cameo bookend gimmick...".

But reading this article of Collider.com's it does sound like Len Wiseman has had to do a lot to get the Die Hard fans such as myself back on side and that he like myself understands that the more modern releases of the Die Hard films have been shit and not up to the really good action packed, good story of the first three Die Hard films...but I would say though that the more modern Die Hard films are watchable even though they're so bad and they're not so bad to watch of an evening when there's nothing on television.

As he goes on to say that:

"After doing the fourth one, there were so many conversations that Bruce (Willis) and I were having about what he put into the character for Die Hard 1. That character comes in with so much baggage, emotionally, and experience. He's already divorced, he's bitter, his Captain hates him and doesn't want him back. So what created that guy."

And he goes on to say:

"We've never seen the actual love story. We know it's demise, but we've never seen it what it was like when he met Holly, or when he was a beat cop in '78 in New York when there was no chance of him making detective. It's always something I've been thinking about, and now we're doing it. And it ties in."

But thinking about it now, this does sound to me anyway a bit try hardy, like Len Wisemen and Bruce Willis have either seen how bad the more modern release's of Die Hard films are or how bad the reactions have been to the more modern releases and have thought if there were to be another Die Hard film released what would it be about and how or what would it need to have to be better than the other more modern releases of this film franchise...well I have just one thought on that maybe if there was going to be another film maybe don't give it a stupid title like the others such as "Die Hard 4.0" or "A Good Day To Die Hard".

It might be a nice idea now that I think about it to see when Holly and John McClane met but this is suppose to be a more action based film franchise and these films aren't really about the romance between Holly and John McClane it's more about the action of how an off duty policeman keeps getting caught up in terrorist plots when he's off on holiday, and if the movie makers were to simply go off piste and make it a sickly sweet romance or more of a when "Harry Met Sally" film then I think they'd have even more bad reactions from audiences, but I'm sure,-or rather I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that-, the film makers aren't going to turn this next film into a romcom like that film and are probably just like in other films going to have the guy get the girl at the end of the movie after all the action or adventure in the rest of the movie.

But in another attempt to reassure fans by saying that:

" The film will take place on New Years' Eve 1979..."

So this sounds like to me that Len Wiseman is trying to say that this prequel/sequel will have the feel of the first film which took place at Nakatobi Plaza where the company that Holly Gennaro works for in New York is having their Christmas works party but just as John arrives from the airport to join her at the party the Plaza gets taken over by terrorists led by Hans Gruber played by Alan Rickman who ends up falling off the building after he takes Holly hostage and John McClane  pushes him out the window but just as the audience thinks Holly's safe he gets stuck to the watch she's wearing nearly taking her with him, but thankfully John McClane manages to take off her watch so Hans falls off the building leaving Holly behind amidst the chaos that was caused.

Making it sound like Len Wiseman may be trying to give hope to the fans like me that he will try to make this new film as good as "Die Hard" was by taking it back to the basics of one off duty policeman having to do his job despite wanting to spend some time with his wife that he's separated from over the holidays and despite not having any idea how to deal with terrorists.

And that:

" It's really working into the plot, with the '70's having ramifications on present day Bruce. It inter-cuts in a very fun, imaginative way with present- day John McClane."

Sounds intriguing to me...but I guess we'll just have to wait and see what this will actually look like when the movie finally comes out.

But another thing that might put this new film on shaky ground is how it has been suggested in this Collider.com article by Len Wiseman that the production an unknown actor as you can't possibly think of the character John McClane without thinking of Bruce Willis.

As Len Wiseman says that:

"It has to be somebody that has the swagger and has the confidence, but also the charm, the wit, the charisma and the toughness. It's asking a lot, especially in somebody that's younger. It has to feel like the guy owns it, rather than is trying to put it on."

So this sounds like to me a bit like the never ending debate that always follows the James Bond films of who will play this part next...so from now until whenever this film finally gets released let the names start being thrown into the hat.
