I've just been on Facebook and seen that on the blog of Paramore's website that Cosmopolitan Magazine this month have chosen to put on this month's issue of it's magazine Hayley Williams (the front vocalist of the band in case you aren't such a lover of their band or music like me).
I have to say that I think that it's great that Hayley is on the front cover, but I have bought other issues of Cosmopolitan in the past and they normally put models on the front cover. But Hayley is really exciting and I suppose they are seeing what ELLE Magazine are doing with putting celebrities on each month's cover like last months issue Gwen Steffani was on their cover, which I was very excited about as I absolutly love her since I brought their awesome album 'Tragic Kingdom'. I have to say that if you love 'No Doubt' then this is their best album of theirs and me and my sisters unfortunatly loved it too much and after a few hundred listens we badly scratched it. Ooops!
Getting back to the subject at hand it is nice to have her on the cover as it might persuade me to start buying Cosmopolitan Magazine again. Which is nice as I was thinking yesterday that there aren't very many magazines out there at the moment that holds my interest as much as Empire Magazine.
I wanted this blog's words to look like they had a similiar look to Rolling Stone Magazine as that Magazine is to me a god like magazine. I also wanted this blog to be like me with fresh, new and exciting news about all things music and film based.

New Peter Pan
Finally I got to read all my new issue of Empire Magazine last night in peace and quiet, with no interuptions from work phone calls, emergancy deliveries to Ferndown delivery depots or having to go out with previous plans with my sisters. YES!
when I got to the back cover of this issue I was part excited part a little disappointed when I heard that Sky Movies Premier was going to have a new Peter Pan made like Film Four already does, so it sounds like this may be a new 21st century approach from Sky, or thinking about it as Sky is an American owned company they might have seen what Film Four are already doing and seeing the success of some of these films that have been made specifically for itself.
I was excited as Bob Hoskins was back in it as Smee, which to be fair made my feel like this Peter Pan was going to be good as to me there is no other person in my mind that can play this character so well. I do have to admit that any other Pan film that I've seen I always see Bob Hoskins as Smee and I go away from the cinema feeling that 'Yeah it was a good film but where was Bob Hoskins' Smee'. I guess I always think this as I saw 'Hook' when I was little and for me that was the person who should always play Smee as he played it so well, funny but you never forget that he is a pirate that has to endure 'Captain James Hook'.
On the other hand I did feel disapointed at the prospect of there being another Peter Pan as the producers had cast Rhys Ifans as 'Captain Hook'. And Anna Friel has also been cast as a female pirate captain. I don't mind Anna Friel in a movie but I have to admit that I'm not the biggest fan of Rhys Ifans. That is all I'm going to say on the subject of Rhys Ifans as I have tended in the past to go on rants about actors/actresses that I'm not a fan of.

Other characters to feature in
Just heard as well from obsessedwithfilm.com yesterday that Warner Bros. that not only are they going to reboot Batman they are going to hopefully release a 'Justice League of America'. This film has been talked about for a long time the same amount of time as the new James Franco film that is just been released, because I heard two years ago that he was going to start a comedy film about medieval knights going off to help the damsel in distress.
Anyhuw, this 'Justice League of America' although the details or the idea of what the story for this film will be haven't been ironed out yet, but in this film Warner Bros. do think that in this film Ryan Reynold's 'Green Lantern' and Henry Cavill's ( in case you don't know who this actor is then you've probably seen him in 'The Tudors' TV series as '1st Duke of Suffolk') new Superman will feature. The new reinvented Batman will also possibly feature. This will also have new actors/actresses in as 'Wonderwomen' and 'Flash'. This sounds like it could be interesting as 'Wonderwomen' could be another comic book heroine that gets the Nolan treatment which could be good as it seems anything that he recently puts his hand to turns to gold if 'Batman' and 'Inception' are anything to go by.
'Flash' however I don't know how you can bring his character into the 21st century after this 1980 monnstrosity:

These characters will apparently feature but I hope that they are more plausable than this. And no doubtedly if there good then no doubtedly they will get a outing out on their own.
Also another comic book character getting their day in the sunshine again I might add is 'Daredevil', now I hear you saying 'Why?...When the last one was so bad' at the top of your lungs, but I think your being too quick to judge whether this is just a punt too far and over a big massive waterfall like Niagra Falls for Warner Bros. or whether with the help of a great director like 'Christopher Nolan' or another director that's out there somewhere this will be a worthwhile punt from Warner Bros. Well I guess we'll just have to wait for 2013 to roll around.

Confusing Batman News
I was just reading obsessedwithfilm.com and I read that after Christopher Nolan finishes 'Batman:The Dark Knight Rises' Warner Bros. will restart the whole Batman story up again.
I was already a little bit sad to hear that Christopher Nolan was doing the last Batman film as I was just thinking last night that he really did make the Batman story more grown up and not like the TV series use to be as that made 'Batman and Robin' a joke, as the characters use to wear those 'Delboy and Rodney' suites, and everyone in Gotham knew that Bruce Wayne was Batman and everybody would just go to Batman and Robin first and you had those stupid comic book lines of 'Kaboom!' or 'Boom!' scrawled across the TV screen.
I was excited to see though that on the TV the other night there was Tim Burton's Batman on ITV2 as I love that version of Batman. It may seem like I do go on a bit about Batman or James Bond or even Tim Burton, but I just am a complete fan nut when it comes to these two film or even this director as I just get really excited about any bit of news that I hear on either of these things. I really love though, Tim Burton's Batman as his film does really look like it took the comic book hero and transported it to the big screen. But I think that Christopher Nolan made the backstory of how 'Harvey 'Two Face' Dent' became his alter ego was a lot better than the ridiculous reason that was in the early films, because to me it's ridiculous and not very credible that Harvey Dent became Two Face while he was prosecuting a mob boss and he had a pot of coffee thrown at him.
But I am really excited about this film coming out and I can't wait to see it at the cinema. I am confused and maybe a little bit bored that Warner Bros. are reinventing Batman after Christopher Nolan's version of the story as I'm pretty sure by now that everybody in the whole world by now knows what the Batman story is by now. So how many times before we all get bored with Batman are we going to see this story reinvented. I wouldn't mind if Warner Bros. got another director on bored to reinvent this story as i'd be interested to see what another director's take on the whole thing was like, but this reinvention is being talked about with Christopher Nolan and Emma Thompson would be producing this film.

New Johnny Depp film
I heard via the Empire Magazine online a couple of weeks ago that Tim Burton and Johnny Depp are at the moment trying to put together the cast and script for their \retelling of the 1960's Gothic horror soap opera " Dark Shadows". This sounds like it's going to be another great film from Tim Burton as the original story to "Dark Shadows" showed the daily stresses and strains of the Collins family. This showed in particular the everday stresses and strains of Barnabas who was a vampire. This is the part that Depp will play, which should be interesting to see him play. I'm glad that both of them have finally been able to find time to get together and start devising how their going to do this as a film and when they should start shooting this film, because I first heard that both Tim Burton and Johnny Depp wanted to do this but with both their schedules they weren't sure if they were going to be able to do this.
But I'm happy that their finally doing this as it sounds like it's going to be another great film from these two who team up so well. I think the film will be great as with putting together the primary cast members at the moment it looks great. The actors and actresses that are on board to make this film at the moment are:

- Chloe Mortez - if the rumers are true that she'll be in the film then she'll play the character 'Carolyn'
- Michelle Pfeiffer
- Johnny Depp- who you already know is playing the vampire Barnabas
- Helena Bonham Carter
- Eva Green- if you can't remmber she was 'Vesper' in 'James Bond:Casino Royale'
- Bella Heathcote- she has been in a film called 'Beneath Hill 60'
- Jackie Earle Haley- if you haven't seen it he has been in 'Little Children' (he played the peadophile), but his best acting was apparently done in 'Breaking Away' (he played a moocher).
- Thomas McDonnell- not really sure who this actor is but he was in a film 'Prom'. He apparently plays a young Barnabas and to me it looks like it could be possible that he is a young Johnny Depp.

Hanna and Mad Max News
I've heard about this film for a couple of months as well as seeing a couple of still shots of the movie. I was delighted to hear that the actress who has the main role for this movie is Saoirse Ronan from last year's film that I can't at the moment remeber the name of, but I do remember that it had Colin Farrel in and that it was about a group of prison brakers who walked all the way in the desert and were rescued in India.
This film looks like it will be more action packed than wait for it.... 'Mel Gibson: Mad Max', yes you heard right the producers of film have decided to do another possibly a more updated version of this film. The first time I heard this was being done I couldn't stop laughing as I think that it would be too controversial and offensive if the directors for this movie got Mel Gibson to actually retake up his role as Mad Max as I think now in life he has become an extreme version of this character.
For more information on either of these movies go to empire magazine online if you haven't been able to make up your mind yet on what X-Men cover you want to get from your local news agents for this months issue.

Mads Langer
Just had a second listen at this guy. I thought the other day that when I first listen to him singing that I had judged him too quickly as I tend to do with artists or bands that I have a first listen to, for example I am ashamed to admit it now but I did this with the Script when they released 'We Cry'. I first thought that this song wasn't very catchy but then the next day I got home from school and turned on the TV to Q music television and I heard it again and I immediatly fell for the song.
I have to say that I have done it again with Mads Langer as at first I thought that the song 'Microscope' droned on a bit, but now I quite like it now that I've had another listen to the song. It's not just this song that I quite like either, and I think it's worth having a listen to his songs. I've put the songs that you should have a listen to:
