This may be old news but some things are just too good not to blog about!

You may already have purchased Fall Out Boys fantastically amazing new album but the other day I was on Youtube and I saw their new video for their new single "Alone Together" which I think  is amazing!

t

Since I bought this I have been playing this none stop, morning noon and night and its even the album that I listen to to wake up to in a morning that is how addictive this album is. All the songs on the album are amazing but I have to say though that I was really suprised that although this video had been posted on Youtube on the 1st July 2013 I hadn't heard it being played on Radio 1 which I thought Zane Lowe might have played it or even introduced it as a new record from Fall Out Boy but no.

It's so hard to even say which song off this album is my favorite but I have to say that I absolutely  love "Miss Missing You", its got a synth sound to this song but a good drum beat and as always that Patrick Stump has an amazing voice which makes all the songs off the album sound soooo good, but I also love "In Death Valley" which I have to be honest and say that when I first heard it I thought that it would be cool if in the video the band could be in the desert on camels with laser guns and Patrick could be a sheriff and their looking for someone but right in the middle of the song they get ambushed and a fight ensues. But now that I've seen this video I think this will definitly be very different because the foxes cut off Patrick's hand and have made him evil so maybe the foxes after they've recaptured all of them take them out to the desert and the black dude hiding in the bushes at the end of this video gets on a camel and has to suit up to free them from the evil clutches of apparently as one Youtube comment put it Courtney Love.

Apparently this Youtube comment said that all these series of music video from Fall Out Boy were to do with their relationship with the music industry and how their is something in the briefcase that Patrick Stump is handcuffed to in "The Phoenix" that could save rock and roll but 2 chains and Courtney Love kidnap them to get this as they don't want them to have this...so this got me thinking that as I think the duet with Sir Elton John at the end of this album which I think has to be one of the best duets I've ever heard but then again I could be biased as I am a big big fan of Fall Out Boy, if they did a music video for this song they could give the briefcase to Sir Elton John to open and then everyone sees what is in the briefcase once and for all...happy ending!

Also I have to say that although it is difficult to peg down which of these songs are my favourite "Just One Yesterday" ft. Foxes is another stand out track from this album as is "Where did the party go"

And I do have to say that on the track with " Howt the Mighty Fall" there is a lyric in the song that says " and swallow the key" but I'm always thinking that it sounds like "and swallow the cheese".

I'm not going to put them all on here as that would spoil the album for those who haven't already got it...which if you haven't already WHY THE HELL NOT! GO GET IT NOW! or you could download it!

I'm back with a brand new rap but guess who else is

I know that I've been away from here for ages, and you may or may not already know about this but I just had to put this up here as it just seems so unbelievable.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, there is a plan to do a Transporter 4, 5 and 6. The Hollywood Reporter reports that during Cannes Film Festival it was announced by Luc Bessons' EuropaCorp which did  a deal last July to become partners with the Chinese Fundamental Films that stated that 15 EuropaCorp fims would be released theatrically in China by Fundamental Films and that 2 companies would co-produce at least three of these 15, that both companies would co-produce, co-finance and distribute the next three installments in the Transporter franchise.

But there's been no word from The Statham's people yet on whether he will return as Frank Miller, former SAS turned transporter with all the rules (the main guy in these films),

The Hollywood Reporter also says that the budgets around $30-40 million and one of these is likely to be located in China.

I have seen all of these films and have to say that I hope it's better than the last one where Jason Statham reversed his BMW off a road and into the lake below and after the bad guys were gone he miraculously managed to open the boot of his car and inflate the car to the surface and then jump start it and get it back on the road, also I thought that this didn't really have much of a storyline except that it was just using the same storyline from the first one where Jason Statham finds out he's transporting a girl somewhere, but the only difference was that in the third one she wasn't in a bag tossed in the boot of his car and they both  had killer (but not in a good way) big ass bling bracelets on that when you got a certain distance away from the car you blew up .

I do have to say though that I did like the first one as it had might  good story, great location Nice, France, great house...this might just be me but I really didn't like it the bad guys shoot the house down as it was so lovely.

Empire says they feel sad if Statham return, but to be honest I can't understand why he wouldn't return in these movies as he really made this role his own and he made these films what they are today.

Like the smell of rum...well now you can wear it (just for men though)

Yohji Yamamoto, has relaunched according to Shortlist Media their iconic scent Yohji Homme which is being sold at Selfridges for £18-45. This I've just thought is a cool looking bottle but what is with some fragrances of late using alcohol in their mixtures of perfumes?

I've just thought why this might be and this may sound like I've got my business head on and I know that I've never put this on before on here but I guess there is a first time for everything, to get men to be more excited about Cologne and perfumes as I don't think that men really buy a lot of these for themselves, and women are more the type to get excited about different fragrances and perfumes but they do tend to buy this stuff for their other halves.

Anyhew...I'm going to skip over this side as quickly as possible and say that this has been blended together with sage, bergamot, mocha coffee and leather...so these are quite heady, rich, intense flavours and sound like it could go either way, men may like it but girls may not. And I've just thought that it might say more about you if your wearing this, ie these are quite big overpowering  fragrances, and if your wearing them it might suggest that you like big overpowering fragrances despite how it making all the girls turn their noses up at it and run away from you, but I shouldn't really judge as according to Shortlist Media this although an odd concoction does work.

Smell like David Beckham no thank you, I'd rather have my own au de toillette!

I was reading this the other day on Shorlist Media's website and I have to say even though it is nothing to do whatsoever with women but everything to do with men I have to say that it piqued my interest.

According to Shortlist Media these are the new line of modern fragrances from perfumieres Commodity Goods to help a man find out what a man's signature scent is, and the guy has to is fill out a scent form and then you'll get samples sent to you based on the choices you put on the form, and then you can order based on the fragrance that you like.

Now I'm not a gut and those of you who read this blog will already know this, but if I were I don't think I'd want to smell like whisky although this does taste awefully good when miixed in an American cocktail called Port Authority, and I have read a few books in my time as well so I'd like to think that I know what a book smells like the first time you open it, but for me this really isn't a smell I'd want to smell like either, so I think it's safe to say that paper doesn't smell of anything either.

But I can see what Commodity Goods are getting at, it's a fun thing for guys to do put together their own scent and feel like mega star, super cool David Beckham for a day by having a fragrance put together using the smells you like and having something on your bathroom shelf knowing that's your scent...your scent for the summmer!

I suppose in this way it's a unique gift for Father's Day if your stuck on ideas for what to get him this month, but then again I just thought that guys might have to sit down and do this with their girlfriends or their wives as what they think is a nice smelling fragrance may not be something the other halves want them to smell like.

Return of the man! Review: 30 Seconds to Mars "Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams"

I've had a little bit of a brake folks and today thanks to the help of the release of one of my favourite bands 30 Seconds To Mars' new album "Love Lust and  Faith and Dreams",- (which it says on Amazon's website is officially released on the 21st May, but I recieved it on the 20th.)- I have now listened to it and have now been renergized and I'm ready to get suited and booted and have decided that it's time to come back and dust off the old glad rags and have decided that today is the day that I return to writing on this blog and do as this album has just done for me now...reved up my engine!, Sorry about the reference to revving engines but I just couldn't resist!

Anyhew...I digress. I have thankfully just played this on my CD player in my bedroom and thanfully there is a god! YES!

If your a massive fan of the band like me you will have already seen the amazing short teaser trailer by Bartholomew Cubbins (a.k.a Jared Leto) with all the animals in including the amazing looking black wolf Shadow, a lion and a couple of  zebras, but I have to admit that when I first saw this short teaser trailer for the album I did think it looked a little bit like 30 Seconds to Mars' had especially at the end with all the zebras running all over the place had smashed Noah's Ark up and let all the animals who went in two by two out by letting them run free, so I think it's fair to say that especially with this short also showing Jared jumping around and a man covered in wasps, a hullahoop circling on its own, a big suede looking mechanical rodeo bull with matching pink suede horns going on it's own that this album has a big box of tricks and there's a lot more to it than meets the eye.

And I have to say that this is sooo true!...even though I have just listened to it I couldn't help but be left grinning the biggest smile I think I have ever grinned when listening to a 30 Seconds to Mars album, and I think that eventhough this album sounds completely different to their other albums,-I say that this album is sounds different to "This Is War" and "A Beautiful Lie" as Jared Leto's still sounds amazing as always, Shannon Leto and Tommo still make all the songs on the album sound as thumping and amazing as ever, and for me if you try and listen to another album or song that isn't 30 Seconds to Mars after you've heard one of their songs it never sounds as awesome as that song of their's that you just heard and it makes you want to go out and just sit in your room or wherever you are at that moment and listen to that album to keep on listening to that and all their other songs on that album which after you've heard that album you just want to sit for a bit and go "Ok...let's listen to that again", and this is why to this day my favourite songs of their's are "The Kill", "A Beautiful Lie", "Attack", "Saviour", "Hunter" etc as all their songs are sooo good its really nearly impossible for me to choose just one favourite and this may sound a bit ponsy but I'm going to say it anyway, they really know how to play the hell out of their instruments to make every song sound really electrifying,- but in this album they've just added other electric sounds to their own which I think really adds to this electrifying sound making each song sound different but a good different...so do not fear 30 Seconds to Mars fans!

I just thought with listeing to this album now I have to admit that "Up In The Air" lyric video unfortunatly real video isn't working below is really just a taster of the other fantastic tracks on this album.

The artwork for this has been done by Damien Hirst who was the artist that did an art exhibition in the Tate years ago if I remember rightly with a cow cut into half and put into a big tank the same as  a shark and if you have recieved your spotted album today the same as me those of you may or may not instantly recognise that this is Damien Hirst as he did this exact design for the last Brit awards...though for me if I were a singer/songwriter and was getting an award I think I would have  wanted more the Brit  award that was designed by Vivienne Westwood as this looked amazing to me.

Anyway...."Conquistador" is already one of my favourites from this album it sounds to me a bit similiar drum beat to You Me At Six's "Loverboy", but still sounds like an old classic rock song with the amazing guitar sounds but I think that above this track off the album " Pyres Of Varanasi " is an awesome instrumental song that when I heard it,- you may have heard this one before as it's definitly on the opening to the short for the album and I love the big dramatic sound of it, I thought that a cool idea for the video to this could be Shadow is at the front of a girl wearing something like Jenniffer Gardner wore in the film Electra when she's at her house having the big fight scene with the hand and that guy who can make his tatoos come alive, i.e he makes his tattooes of two wolves that are on his  his chest come to life and attack someone and he makes all his tatooes of snakes at the end of the film come to life and strangle the life out of the little girl, and then there's more people stood watching and there's another person on the other side that fights her and it finishes where of course team mars wins in dramatic style.

This video above of "Conquistador" and "Pyres Of Varanasi"I've put here just to give you a taster fans of the band and other music fans alike so that you can see what I mean when I say that you definitly have to get a copy of this album as if you don't I think you will definitly miss out on one of the albums of the year if not of all time...I know that I may be a little bit biased when I say this though as I am a huge fan of Jared Leto and of the band but I really do think that this is one of those important albums that you just have to have in your record collection.

I absolutly love "Bright Lights" as it to me really sounds like it could have been a song out of Drive the movie which is one of my favourite films...but then again this could just be me. "City Of Angles" is another one of my favourites.

Imagine Dragons "Night Visions" Album Review

I know this album has been out for a while now and I have already got this album but I've just wanted to do a post on these guys for ages so I thought that I'd do one today.

I've recently just been on a bit of a buying binge lately with CD's as I've been pre-ordering Imagine Dragons, Pheonix's "Bankrupt",-which has just arrived today- Paramore's "Now" and 30 Seconds to Mars' "Love Lust Faith +Dreams", I have to say that all these little packages from Amazon that keep arriving get me feeling very excited and make me feel like a kid on Christmas morning when you see first thing in a morning all the presents that you got from Santa Claus.

Anyhew... I have to also say that I've been meaning to write a review of the new Imagine Dragons album that came out on April 1st...if you've not got this yet I urgently advice you to get a copy of this NOW! as it is a must listen to debut album.

Track Listing:

1. Radioactive
2. TipToe
3.It's Time
4. Demons
5.On Top Of The World
6. Amsterdam
7. Hear Me
8. Every Night
9.Bleeding Out
10.Underdog
11.Nothing Left To Say/Rocks
12. Cha-Ching (Till We Grow Older)
11. Working Man

I have to be honest and say that everyday since I got this album that I've been playing this none stop morning noon and night on my CD player and I was reading the other day on Rollingstone Magazine's website that they had done a Top 100 of the best debut albums and since I've listened to this and probably drove my parents crazy with listening it so much that this album has to be included in this as well as Paramore's Now album, the fantastic new album "Save Rock and Roll" from Fall Out Boy,and I think this may be the album of the summer as I really think with how bad the weathers been lately that you could put this CD on and feel like you have a few friends over and having a few drinks in the sun or if you were going to have a house party...this I have just thought would definitly have to be any and everybody's party mix and it definitly is a fantastic album to make you think your driving down the roads to have a lovely summery drink sat outside at a pub.

I have to say that eventhough "It's Time" is at number 30 on the chart I can't believe with how amazing this is that more people aren't thinking the same or listening to it as I think that it definitly needs to be in the Top 10...but come to think about it any of these songs from the album could be in the Top 10.

A few of  my favourite stand out tracks from the album are definitly "It Time", "Bleeding Out", "Radioactive". I love the in Bleeding Out the lyrics "When the wolves all cry/to fill the night with howlering" as well as the phat drum and guitar sound on the track as well as the chorus "I bear my skin/and I count my sins/and I close my eyes/and I take it in/I'm bleeding out/I'll bleed out for you/For You".

I saw on VEVO yesterday the brand spanking NEW! music video for one of my favourite songs on the album "Demons", I have to say that I think this video is really cool showing them performing this track live but I think this definitly has vibes of what Papa Roach did in their video for "Last Resort" with the camera keeping zoning in on a couple different people in the crowd.

There are lots more favourites on here but I'm only going to put a taster of the album "Night Visions" on here for you as I don't want to spoil it all for you!

"Rocks" and "Working Man" really have a cool reggae sound to them making just about every track on this album amazing with each of them sounding really different to the last track as there are some tracks that use a lot of synths, drums, guitars and other tracks are a bit different with just singing on and it's not such an instrumental backed track that you just listened to making it really hard to choose which one is your favorite and it might just be me but for me this album since I first listened to it has been all I want to listen to at the moment and every track has made me just want to get up and dance to it,-I understand that on tracks like "Hear Me" and "Demons" you can't really dance to them-.

But even though these tracks are a little harder to dance to they are still my favourites!

Weirdest things that I've just seen today

I was just in the middle of perusing the internet for work when I saw these on Shortlist Mode's website grooming section of their website the most odd things, I just had to write a post about them as they seemed so bizarre to me:

1.  Sushi Cologne....Yes you are reading this right there's no need to do a double take Sushi Cologne:

It's available over at Dementer Fragrance Library's Website where it describes this new cologne of their's as :

"...the fresh scent of just cooked sticky rice and straight from the seaside seaweed , laced with hints of ginger and lemon essence. Simply delectable."

Now I'm just thinking if I were a guy why on earth would I want to smell like sushi?

But as it stands I am a women so Cologne doesn't really apply to me but I still don't think I'd buy this if I needed to buy a present for a guy because although the description of it having hints of ginger and lemon in it making it sound as if this is going to be quite a spicy but fresh smelling scented cologne I don't really see why any guy would want to also smell like just cooked sticky rice.

I love sushi but I don't really see why any fragrance house would want to try and make this a scent especially one for men, I don't really see this working but being me if I saw this in a shop I'd probably go over and see what it smelt like as this has definitely piqued my interest to see what it smelt like as you never know it could be better than it sounds like, but then again it could just be another 007 Bond Fragrance...I do have to say that I saw this in a shop that I was in and had a quick smell (this may make me sound a bit weird smelling fragrances for men but I only did it as I am a huge James Bond fan and I wanted to know what it smelt like) and it was to me a very offensive smell one that if I was a guy I would never choose to wear.

Let's hope that the new 007 Blue Ocean Royale smells a lot better.

2. Pizza Hut have made a perfume...no word of a lie this has actually been done:

This idea started off life as an actual joke according to Shortlist Mode Magazine by advertising firm Grip Ltd. who asked followers to come up with a name for an imaginary bottle of scent that was going to be inspired by the smell of pizza,- this bottle is the one on the left-, and as there were so many people who wrote in to this saying that they would actually wear a scent that smelled like pizza they decided to make one for real,-this is the one on the right-, and they said they would give the first 100 people who messaged back a bottle of this eau de Pizza...sorry about the pun but I just couldn't resist.

I just thought would this be a unisex fragrance or would it be an eau pour homme or pour femme?

But I have just read that this online Facebook PR stunt is only for Canada and hasn't been extended to the UK...yet but give it time I bet this will come to the UK.

I just have to say it but I bet this smells just like mamma used to make!

3. Redken have made a beer shampoo:

Yes you are reading this right Redken For Men have just brought out a Men's Clean Brew Extra-Cleansing Shampoo and as you can see from the name this is no ordinary Men's Shampoo this contains malt which helps to nourish and condition the hair, and it also contains brewer's yeast which strengthens and builds body says Shortlist Mode Magazine...two ingredients which you'll find in all good beers.

It also contains orange zest which will deep cleanse your scalp while purifying and eliminating oil and dirt, it also according to Shortlist Mode Magazine contains Anti-Grit Technology which apparently makes light work of crusty mud flecks...so it sounds like its handy to have on hand if you decide to go mountaineering somewhere.

This is priced at £12.20 for a 250ml bottle of the stuff .
