Assasin's Creed Update!

I saw this headline on Empire Magazine's website and I have to say that I at first didn't fully read this until today...this I realise sounds bad but I did only see this headline on the magazine's website very late last night and only thought that today I was going to post about this.

Anyhew....According to Deadline Hollywood's website the Swedish actress Alicia Vikander is currently in talks to star in Assasin's Creed which I have to say is moving at a snails pace as I've been trying for ages now to find any new information out about this film that I'm so excited to hear is going to be made into a film as some of the games I've seen made into films such as 'Resident Evil', 'Prince Of Persia',-this film you may have seen was a bit bad but it is I think an alright film to watch if there's nothing on TV-, 'Hitman', 'Need For Speeed' etc are really action packed and really good films, but so far when I've been trawling the internet for this information all I keep getting is Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard are going to teaming up again for this movie that will be directed by Justin Kurzel.

But now according to Deadline Hollywood news has arrived that production for this new 'Assasin's Creed' film will start in early autumn/fall for a pencilled in release date of December 21st 2016 that will be released through 21st Century Fox. This will be co-financed according to Deadline Hollywood by Rat Pac and Alpha Pictures, with Michael Fassbender, Pat Crowley, Frank Marshall, Arnon Milchan and Conor McCaughan producing. Bill Collage, Adam Cooper and Michael Leslie writing the script for this.

Also according to Deadline Hollywood this would mean that Alicia Vikander would probably drop out of starring in 'The Circle' which would see her star alongside Tom Hanks. This film is said to be based on a Dave Egger's novel. This would have seen her play a young female employee of a technology company called The Circle get involved with a mysterious man, but according to Deadline Hollywood the female lead role for this movie has now been offered to Emma Watson who audiences are going to be seeing in the live action remake of 'Beauty and The Beast'.

And also according to Deadline Hollywood schedules will have to be rejigged somewhat as it also reports that Alicia Vikander is set to star in the new Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass's 'Bourne' film which is said to be a follow up to 'The Bourne Legacy' which starred Jeremy Renner...so I don't know how that's suppose to work as 'The Bourne Legacy' was a completely different story that did include Jason Bourne in the background but mainly followed the character Aaron Cross.

But this website does say though that Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass are writing the screenplay for this along with Christopher Rouse, and both along with Gregory Goodman and Frank Marshall are said to be producing this for Universal and are said to be looking for a pencilled in release date of July 29th next year.
