All new Hobbit news

Unfortunatly Rob Kazinsky who was originally cast to play Fili has had to drop out for personal reasons and Fili has now been recast with Dean O' Gorman playing this character in The Hobbit instead. Also, Lee Pace has been cast to play 'The Elvin King'.

O'Gorman hasn't had to travel far for the location of where Peter Jackson has been shooting the film as he is already a New Zealander who is already in a very popular TV series over there called 'The Almighty Johnsons'. Pace on the other hand you will recognise from the TV series 'Pushing Daisies', but if you can't think of who he was was in that series he was the pie maker who helped 'Chuck' (Anna Friel) to find out who killed her.

This will be exciting as is the news that the Ian Holm who played  Bilbo Baggins in the other Lord Of The Rings films will be in The Hobbit as the older version of Bilbo, with the very interesting and congratulatory news that Martin Freeman getting the main role.

This will be released in two parts which seems to be a little bit of a phase at the moment with the Harry Potter series of films and the Twilight films but these all seem logical to me as The Hobbit has so many stories in, and Harry Potter is a huge last book as is the last Twilight Book with it's 3/4 books inside the main book.

The first half of The Hobbit will be released for our viewing pleasure in December 2012, and the second half will be released around the same time of the first one in December 2013.
