Kirsten Dunst in Melancholia

This film is about the end of the wold and I have to say that when Empire Magazine brought the trailer to my attention a couple of months ago I have to say I thought that it was an arty indie film, but the trailer left me with more questions about what the film is going to be like so I think this calls for a trip to the cinema when this is released on July 1st.

This film also stars: Charlotte Gainsbourg, Kiefer Sutherland, Alexander Skarsgard, Stellan Skarsgard, Charlotte Ramploing and Jon Hurt.

However, I hear today that Kirsten Dunst is now going to be in a new wedding themed comedy that will be produced by Will Ferrall and Adam McKay via their Gary Sanchez production company. Not only will Kirsten star in this indie film but Lizzy Caplan, Adam Scott and Casey Willson. Leslye Headland wrote this script but you wouldn't see or recorgnise her name as she is normally associated with stage plays. This film is only in its getting together stage, as they are still looking for actresses to play the third friend in the story.

The story behind the film goes as follows: Three best friends are asked by a women they used to call 'PigFace' behind her back- to be her bridesmaids at her wedding, but it turns out that the women has her own reasons for inviting them. Kirsten's part will be one of these friends who can either be your best friend or be your worst enemy. Caplan's character is also one of the other friends who is described as 'a sex godess with the brain of a Larry David type'.

Caplan will share some screen time with Adam Scott who will play her high school crush. Ferrell and McKay are at the moment trying to get some money so as to fund this film. This has already got a working title already that will likely to change. At the moment it is called 'Bachelorette'. But no release date as yet.
