NEW Rolls-Royce EWB Ghost

Rolls Royce Ghost

This is the new Extended Wheelbase Ghost that sounds like to me much more mysterious than the Phantom...but at the same time like the Aston Mamrtin V8's it keeps it's original 'period features' as al the 'Kirstie-Allsopps' show's on TV say these days.

This is a good thing I think as it looks modern and swidh enough to appeal to those who love Rolls-Royce cars as for me when I think about a Rolls I always think luxurable comfort...big and swish looking on the outside with it being big and comfy on the inside.

But as always you just know that whoever is driving these either has lots of money, or just thinks they have and thinks they are Lord Allen Suger in the Aprrentice.

And this is true when the trunk space is enormous says Top Gear, with now brace yourselves Rolls-Royce lovers or anyone who wants to buy this new modern looking car...there are packages or add ons if you like to make you want to act like Big in 'Sex and the City' and never leave the car again to go outside...these are:
  • the £1,224 wi-fi hotspot
  • £3,867 electronically adjustable seats
  • £4,030 full DVD kit
  • £1.846 two picnic tables
I don't think in this case my daddy can afford to buy me one of these...but why on earth if you want to go at your own pace on the roads of Britian would you need two picnic tables in the back of your car.

To me this sounds the most stupidest things to be options on a car, because this car sounds like it would be better if you kept it parked in the front of your drive at home took everything you need to work out of your office and just sit in this as I'm sure along with these adjustable seats there is air con so and there is if you get the DVD option easy ways to get destracted and it's a car so you could if you wanted take your office out and pop on over to the nearest McDonalds and use the picnic table to get work done but also get a bit of lunch.

Then you have the best of both worlds...but on second thoughts the car might get trashed while being parked...if only there was an option like Bonds on the BMW in 'Tomorrow Never Dies' where there is a security setting inside the car that secures it from any attacks from a sledgehammer from guns etc...well you never know what your going to get these days down at the local McDonalds.

And as Top Gear has said in their review of the cars drive perforance, that:

"You don't so much drive the Ghost as waft pleasantly along, isolated from the world by the air suspension."

So this will be good for all the people who want to pretend that they are Lord Allen Sugar, but on second thoughts when your in a Rolls-Royce you don't really want to be driving around at full pase like a boy racer, you just want to be gentle with one of these.

And, this might come in handy for people as Top Gear say that:

"The system is so sensitive that it can tell if someone in the back moves from one side of the car to the other, and will adjust istself accordingly".

Nice!

But this will set you back £25,000 more than the standard Rolls-Royce...so deep pockets are requored here.

Genna Marabese...you have to listen to this!

I heard Genna Marabese on Facebook yesterday...and I really think this is amazing! If you want to hear more of her sound which is inspired by The Velvet Underground, Damon Albarn, David Bowie, Graham Coxon, Regina Spektor (if unlike me you haven't heard of this artist, why not! anyhew I have put up my favourite song by her for oyu to have a little listen to), radiohead etc.

I have to say that although I love 'We Are Animals' but my favourite two songs of hers are on her Facebook Page 'Masquerade' and 'Deal With The Devil'. These two songs you have to have a listen to these aloong with her other song 'Walls'.

Thank god I have just found these songs as I always when it's really quiet in the office and nothing is really going on I just sit back and create a Youtube playlist or just play some good tunes that take my mind off work...I know this sounds bad but I am really easily distracted when I have not much work to get through in the day.

I really hope that someone or any Radio 1 hosts or Jools Holland who like to pick up new talent so as to make sure the world hears these great tunes picks up these amazing songs because I think the world really does need to hear these as I can see these going big like Hurts did when their amazing song 'Wonderful Life'...meaning that just listening to one amazing song like 'Deal With The Devil' and people will go nuts for it.

Please Please Please go and have a little listen to Genna Marabese as it is with all artists that I put up on this blog if you blink then you will definitly miss it!

New! Land Rover Evoque convertible

Range Rover Evoque convertible concept

I know I know your probably looking at this right now thinking the same thing as me the first time I saw this concept car from Land Rover that is going to be shown off at the Geneva car show thinking it looks a bit odd...it looks like it should be a four wheel drive Land Rover but this time it looks like a science experient that Land Rover have done and are going to be sitting back at this car show next month with fingers crossed hoping for a good reaction from all who enter the show.

But this car has with it a 2.2 litre diesel engine with 150bhp and 190bhp as well as 240bhp 2.0 litre petrol engine.

So this then sounds like it could solve the ever common problem of you get into a car and your mind is so focused on what your going to do that day that you completely forget thar when you go to a petrol station  to fill up the car that your car doesn't take diesel but in fact takes petrol or visa versa.

So as this is the only details that is out yet then we'll have to wait till it hits the Geneva show...but it has been said that if the reaction is good then this off roader could be out in a couple of years.

NEW! Lyonheart K

This is the new renamed 'Lyonheart K' Classic Cars Factory, a Swiss company who are going to make this a tribute to Jaguar's E-type, but it will be manufactured by ' Lyonheart Cars Ltd' which has been founded just for this car to be made.

To me this looks like a Jag from the front but they've smashed this together with a Porsche 911 at the back mixed with a Ford Mustang at the side.

But now I have seen the cockpit area inside the car and although I was originally on the fence about this car and being very hesitant to even touch this car with a barge pole because when it comes to cars I like a car that has an attractability about it...unlike this car!

But I think what this car lacks in attractability outside it makes up for inside with this cream interior and wood panneling dashboard...now I see where the tribute to the Jaguar E- type comes in as I've only ever sat in an old Jaguar once and I do have to say that Jaguar do love a bit of wood panelling.

But with this interior it looks like your sitting inan old but not a Jaguar. And to be honest if you are in the market for a Jaguar (and this may be just me) but won't you just want to splash the cash to buy that Jag that you want rather than something that doesn't really look like one on the outside but does on the inside.

That is just stupid to buy a car on the basis of the interior, if you want to do that then you might as well as just red the interior of your house with cream furniture and wood pannelled rooms...but this I'd advise against as I have just had a mental image of a room that has all of these and it doesn't look good...it lloks like something out of the '80's.

Anyhew...there is going to be a 5.0 litre V8 engine, carbon fibre panels and an aluminium chassis.

Nice but I still think this car is for me not my cup of tea.

But this £415,000 is not doing anything to get my excitement going about this car and it still won't convince me to buy this...so sorry to the CEO of Classic Car Factory Robert Palm who said that:

"We want to make the 'Made in England' label into a truthful concept, not just a statement . Every part of the Lyonheart K is developed, engineered and hand-built in Covetry, England".

NEW Updated Aston Martin V8 2012

When I first read about these new updates from Aston Martin's V8 range I was very excited...like a kid in a sweet shop! I can't tell you how excited I was especially when I saw this new Aston Martin convertible.

I do have to say though that as smooth, sophisticated and elegantly designed as are all the Aston Martin cars I was finding it very hard to choose which one of these new V8's were my favourite's, I was thinking as I am a massive fan of 'Harry Hill's TV Burp' that what should just happen is what always happens on that show when you can't choose one thing over another....FIGHT!

But then I remebered I am not a multimillionaire with oodles of cash to buy both and let them fight it out amongst themselves...and as I love Aston Martin's sooo much I really couldn't sit on the sidelines and watch anything happen to these cars that would end up with either of them getting a scratch, dent or bulge in the tyres.

This though although the baby supercar in all of Aston Martin's loooooong range of supercars that look like whatever you are doing that second in time just forget about it and take the time to look at these...and if you ever get the chance to drive one then you just have to cancel all your meetings for that day and walk out the house and just get in that Aston Martin.

According to Top Gear nothing has been changed in this new look V8 except for a few minor alterations here and there such as the new seven speed Sportsshift II auto box which is optional and features closer ratios, a lower final drive and a quicker redefined shift quality.

The brakes are now 380mm two- piece ventilated cast-iron front discs and six piston callipers.

Aso the lower bumper with aerosplinters gets a larger intake of cold air to the engine, (this is a bit of good news all round as anyone who has one of these or wants one like me can drive these on the open road when no one is around and there's a good bit of open road in front of you and you just want to act like a big kid and pretend that your in a James Bond film in the middle of a high speed car chase) it's good to know that you can do this and the car will not over heat it's self while you are acting like a big kid.

It's good to see that the engineers at Aston Martin have thought of everything as well as well as inside the cars there are fitted sculpted 'race-derived' air sills.

This surely shows classic car craftsmanship at it's best...but it's nice to see that they've put in things to these new V8's to finally win over car fans that are still not entirely convinced of Aston Martin as well as keeping everything there that Aston Martin lovers like me already love about these cars.

Before I forget I think before you go ahead and want to buy yourself one of these babies you need to really think 'Have I got enough money in the bank' as prices for these start from £84,995 and rise to a staggering £99,995.

NEW Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse

I saw this on Top Gear's website a couple of days ago and this to me looks very swish!...but I may be biased in this opinion as I am more than a bit of a car nut.
Bugatii I can only assume are going to be taking this to the one stop shop International Motor Show and Accessories Show in Genevea as they are amongst the most prestigious names in the car world going to be exhibiting.

I have to say though as I am a massive Aston Martin fan and have been forever,-well since I first saw the DB9 in James Bond- that this looks a really supped up sports car and I think that I would be gauking at one of these just as much as if I saw an Aston Martin rolled up next to me in the traffic queque, but I think this car would have me feeling very envious, and I think I'm alright in saying that this new Bugatii Grand Sport Vitesse wins hands down and puts many cars in the shade and with all of it's parts being almost doubled in size to give this car what it needs in terms of leaving every single cars with nothing but a skid mark on the road and making the car looking very 'I have to have one of those ones now!'.

This doubling up of everything in the Bugatii has been attributed to as the President of Bugatti, Wolfgang Durheimer says:

'The rapid success of the Super Sport convinced us to increase the performance of the Bugatti roadster...'

He went on to say:

'Our engineers worked hard to demonstrate that Bugatii is able to constantly redefine the boundaries of what is technically feasable'.

And this can be seen in the 16 cylnder engine that youd normally find in one of these bad boys having it's intercoolers and turbochargers being enlarged and as you can see the whole body work and undercarriage or chassy has of course been beefed up to hold the extra weight of this new look Bugatti.

As you can see Bugatti is just one of the many car companies that will be showing their newest car or even their out of this world concept cars...now I've had a little look at some of these concept cars and I do have to say that some of them look like as you can imagine like someone has got a group of kids holed up in a room got them hyped up on fizzy drinks and sweets then given them a pad and a pencil then told them to imagine what they would want to be driving in if they could go for a drive in absolutly anything at all in the world.

The Hunger Games Official Song!

A couple of days ago I was sitting down watching music channels when the official song for 'The Hunger Games' came on...this I have to say made me hugely excited as this was a song from Taylor Swift ft Civil Wars.

I am thanks to getting Civil Wars album for Christmas a massive fan of theirs and this really excited me but I was a bit disappointed when I heard this whole song for the first time and the whole song was sung by Taylor Swift...this is meant with no offence to Taylor Swift fans as although there are a lot of her songs that do get stuck in my head once I've heard them which is very annoying but I do have to say that even though I may be not a massive fan of her music I have found myself on occasion tapping my foot along to songs of hers.

Anyway...as I said I was disappointed that Civil Wars weren't singing the song themselves as if you have like me seen them on 'Later Live...with Jools Holland' singing acoustic 'Barton Hollow' which I have to say on this performance of the song it was AMAZING! or if you have their album and have like me played it none stop then you'll know how bloody brilliant they are on their own.

But I just thought as I haven't heard any of their songs as yet on radio stations just on 'Later Live' and in the background on an episode of 'The Vampire Diaries' then this team up with Taylor Swift isn't probably a bad one as she is a big name that is already recognised in the music industry that has a grammy award and has a probably big base of fans that if they heard this track they would without doubt want to listen to it and as the song doesn't have too much of a Civil Wars stamp on it then these fans aren't going to be hating the track too much therefore it is quite a good way for other people who aren't such massive fans of 'Civil Wars' or who have never heard their music before (which I have to say why on earth would you never hear this amazing bands music before now!) to get to like their music but I do have to say though that I thought 'Barton Hollow' was the best way to get people to become fans of it and get them automatically to ring into Radio 1 and request it but even if people ring in to request this song then that's an automatic play for 'Civil Wars' which is no bad thing.

Here is the video for your perusal:

Transformers 4 on the way!

Yesterday it was reported by Empire Magazine that there will be another Transformers movie coming out but at the moment everything is up in the air with just a few details already being know thanks to producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura letting slip in an interview with MTV USA these precious details.

From what is know Bonaventura has said that Paramount has already locked in Michael Bay to direct one more which will arrive in the summer of 2014.

As you can probably imagine this has pissed off the studio as they wanted to do an official press release for this and this is a bit premature coming out as there isn't any of the cast from the last Transformers movies secured to be in this one so there is no official main cast members yet and there really is no word on whether Shia LaBeouf will be coming back as he has in the past said he is done with the hugely successful franchise.

But Bonaventura did also let out of the bag that:

"I think we really are going to reboot there...."

He went on to say:

"But what that's going to be, we don't even yet...we've got to get a story first".

So watch this space for more updates about this film!

Abraham Lincoln:Vampire has finally got a trailer!

Now I know that there seems to be a lot of Vampire vs. Werwolf films out at the mo and this isn't a situation that is made any better by Film Four having it's own week of Vampire films but this film intrigued me as it wasn't you average run of the mill vampire film.

The reasons for it not being your average run of the mill vampire film such as 'Twilight', 'Blade', 'Underworld' or 'Priest' (the last mentioned film in this list was undoubtedly one that promised so much as a vampire film as it had everything going for it that could make the film a hit such as you had it in 3D, their was a mixture of acting talents such as Karl Urban who was in 'The Chronicles of Riddick' as Vaako, Christopher Plummer who was is 'A Beautiful Mind' as Dr. Rosen,Cam Gigadet who was in 'Twilight' as James and also in 'The OC' as 'Vulcheck' and Stephan Moyer who is in 'True Blood' as 'Bill' in but it just ended up looking like someone had gone absolutly berserk as if they were a kid in a sweet shop with the CGI making this film fall down woefully) is because this piece of fiction is about Abraham Lincoln and his fight with vampires and how he documented this in a little black book.

But I saw this trailer that was out yesterday thankfully as I have been looking ever since I heard this was going to made into a film for some kind of a trailer but all I got was the posters that I have to say I am glad that the more theatrical and ominous looking one has been chosen to stay.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter Poster

Also this film looks amazingly action packed and that this film is going be a bit spooky but as Tim Burton is producing this film...and I think it's fair for me to say that with the Johnny Cash narration over the trailer that this has set the film up to be one hell of a good movie fingers crossed.

I also think that the axe that Abraham Lincoln uses is one hell of a powerful axe and I find myself thinking what Leuitenant Gordan said in 'Batman Begins' 'I got get me one of those'...now I just realised that this sounds a bit weird and probably a bit dangerous to say this but that axe would sure make light weight of doing anything...mainly cutting through junk mail!

Timur Bekmambetov who directed 'Wanted' (that god aweful assasins film with Angelina Jolie, James McAvoy and Morgan Freeman which is getting its own sequel...why oh why is beyond me!) is directing this adaption of Seth Grahame-Smith.

The story goes that Abraham Lincoln's (Benjamin Walker) mother is killed by one of these vampires and this fuels his passion to crush them and their slave owning helpers. This features his wife Mary Todd Lincoln who is played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead, his mentor who also hunts vampires Henry Sturges who is played by Dominic Cooper and as all movies have bad guys so too does this movie, this is in the form of Rufus Sewell.

I've put up as well the internationsl trailer for you to have a gander at but if like me your interested already to see this when it comes out then it will be released into cinemas on August 2nd 2012.

Beyonce and Jay-z trademark babies name!

When I read this on Rollingstone's website today I have to say I was left feeling like 'WTF is going on here?'...but it is alright now and your eyes aren't being decieved.

According to Rollingstone:

"Beyonce and Jay-z have filed an application with the U.S Patent and Trademark Office to protect the name of their infant daughter,Blue Ivy Carter'.

I have to say that this does sound like to me a strange way to protect your daughter's name and you could argue that this sounds like rather than enjoy having a daughter in the family they are going to try and make money off her name which will no doubt add to both Jay-z and Beyonce's grand total of money that they are worth combined...i.e this all adds to the ever growing Beyonce/Jay-Z empire.

But wait before I start to argue this point RollingStone says that they have done this so as to:

"...reserve their child's name for possible use as a brand name for a line of baby related products, including carriages, diaper bags (to you and me in the UK this means bags that you can carry nappies and other baby things in when your out and about with your baby) and baby cosmetics..."

So...I knew that  baby labels were big business with Mylene Klass and other celebrities getting in on the act of bringing out their own brand of things for babies and no doubt these baby things from the Beyonce/Jay-Z corner are going to be flying off the shelves with everyone wanting something from this label....and I think now that this sector of business is just gone up a notch with how big this kind of things are.

I also just thought that it would be cute to maybe call this make of baby accessories and clothing Ivy Blue Clothing.

OMG! Bourne Legacy Teaser Trailer out now!

Thank god for Facebook and Apple...I have just seen the teaser trailer for The Bourne Legacy film...this is a definite call to anyone who is a huge fan of the Jason Bourne films...I would definitly say you have to see this!

This is the link to see this:

http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/universal/thebournelegacy/#videos-automatic

This to me looks amazingly good and still has the high octave action that was in Bourne:Identity, Bourne:Supremacy and Bourne:Supremacy, which is great news as I have to admit that I was one of the many people who were thinking that this new Bourne film couldn't be as good as the other set of films because there wasn't Matt Damon in them but thankfully this looks just as good as the Matt Damon Bourne films.

I think the start of this teaser trailer is good as there is not too much shown of Jeremy Renner at first which I just thought is like the opening credits to the TV show 'The Mentalist', but unlike this TV shows opening credits this gives the film and Jeremy Renner's character as well as Edward Norton's character a big build up as well as air of mystery as to what the organisation that Renner is part of a big air of mystery as you wonder when you see someting being injected into Jeremy Renner or as you don't properly see it could be injection going into anyone or anything, but you still think 'What the hell is that being injected?'

I know this is only a teaser trailer that is already a must watch and that there are bound to be more trailers coming out in the build up to the movie but I don't think with how this teaser already leaves you with more questions and just gives you a small dosage of what the action is going to be like (which if you don't mind me saying looks like it harks back to the first Bourne movie which I think grabbed everyone and made them have to watch this film and the many other films that followed), there is not much more I think that needs to be done to it.

I have to agree though with how Matt Damon said in an interview with GQ magazine:

"If you look at the first three movies, we kind of pounded that idea of identity and amnaesia into the ground. We really got everything out of it we could. So to reboot it, we need to come up  with something completly new".

And thankfully Tony Guilroy who has written this along with Dan Guilroy as well as taking the directors chair on this new look Bourne film has writen an original story that links in Treadstone as well as Jason Bourne's character as the events in this film take place after everything that happened with Jason Bourne.

Not much of the story has come out yet but what is being said is that Jeremy Renner's character Aaron Cross's life-or-death balance has been left very precariously in this film because of the events which have already happened in the Matt Damon Bourne films.

Apart from Jeremy Renner being new to this film there is also Oscar Isaacs, Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton and Stacey Keach that are new to this movie but as you already may or may not know a few of the cast leom the last Bourne film have returned, these are Albert Finney who played Dr. Albert Hirsch who was in the third Bourne film 'Bourne:Ultimatum, Scott Glenn who played Ezra Kramer who was also in the third Bourne film 'Bourne:Ultimatum', David Strathairn who played Noah Vosen who was also in the third film 'Bourne:Ulitmatum' and Joan Allen who played Pam Landey in Bourne:Supremacy (the second film for peopbigger fans of the Bourne franchise of films like me).

Seeing this teaser now, I can't wait for when it comes out on August 3rd 2012.

ECOYA New Products!

These are some of the luxurious products from ECOYA. These come from Botany Bay, Australia and in every product they use the best of what the Bay has to offer, this can be seen throughout ECOYA whole range of beautiful packaged and fragranced products as all of these are naturally fragranced with each candle in ECOYA's range being made with soy wax and the wicks on each candle being made with 100% cotton.

This like SACHAJUAN is completely giftable especially it being ideal for Valentines Day as each scent of ECOYA's products is lushiously indulgent, these are: Lotus Flower, French Pear, Vanilla Bean, Wild Frangipani, Sweetpea and Jasmine and Lemongrass and Ginger.

ECOYA has in every aspect of it's product manufacture an eco-friendly approach as opposed to other luxury fragranced brands on the market today as these other brands use harsh fragrances as well as harsh chemicals to make their products smell nice, whereas these products are beautifully fragranced using the best of what nature has to offer and therefore do not need to use harsh chemicals to make each product in ECOYA's range smell beautiful as what is more beautiful, fresh and clean than these scents that are derived from nature.

The packaging on these products are fabulous and appeal to both men and women as these products of: Everyday Tin Candles, Body Exfoliator, Hand Lotion, Hand Cream, Nutral Lip Balm (this means that this is the only product in the whole ECOYA range that does not have a scent to it because I don't know about you but whenever I purchase Lip Balms I don't really see the point of this product smelling so long as it does what a Lip Balm should do which is to hydrate the lips and stop them looking chapped), Metro Jar Candle, Body Nourisher, Black Oil Burner, White Oil Burner, Medium Size Pillar Candle, Small Size Pillar Candle, Reed Diffuser, Room Mist, Soap, Glass Sorrento Candle, Travel Tin Candle and Votive Glass Candle Gift Set, that you can see pictured above have all been thoughtfully created  specifically so as not to alienate both male and female customers...i.e ECOYA's packaging has been carefully designed so as to look not too masculine with the use of the black packaging and white font but look sleek and stylish enough for anyone be it male or female to want to put them in their rooms anywhere in the home.

As well as this, all these thouraghly indulgent scents have been thoughtfully designed not just to show off the best of scents that are derived from nature but also each scent of: Wild Frangipani, Lotus Flower, Lemongrass and Ginger, Sweetpea and Jasmine, Vanilla Bean and French Pear is subtle and not overpowering which compliments each and every product in this luxury home fragrance range. Not only this but again this has been specifically done so as to not alienate any male or female customers, as each scent is sweet enough for many female customers but they are not too sweet and overpowering, but each scent is clean and fresh enough for male customers to not be warned off from using them to make any place in the home smell like a virtual piece of paradise.

If you want to get your mits on any one of these products then they are available at Harrods!

SACHAJUAN NEW Products!

These are the fabulously new SACHAJUAN Body Care range that has just been launched, these all smell absolutely divine and look great as a present for Valentines Day as they look sleek, elegant and most of all look simple and unfussy unlike other smelly products like Lush Bathbombs that I have to say do look cute in their design but all of them are sooo overpowering in their scents and are filled with many ingredients,- that I find whenever I see these in shops- just baffeling as many of the ingredients and fragrances that are in these Bathbombs you find yourself thinking 'what the hell is that?'

These on the other hand are as far removed from these Lush products as possible as with these the design of these products has been done to not take anything away from the washes and lotions themselves as the simple but elegant design of these Body Care products make you more willing to pick these up and smell these scents of: Spicy Citrus that gives off subtle hints of spicycorriander and

Each scent has within them SACHAJUAN's patented Earth Silk Technology which extracts key minerals from the Earth and blends them with these luxurious other scents that wrap you up in complete luxury and indulge both your scenses and your skin as all these Body Care products really take care of your skin by deeply nourishing it, deeply hydrating the skin, deeply soothing the skin with it's anti-irritant qualities and also keeps your skin looking the best it's ever looked as well making it feel the best with it's anti-ageing qualities.

I may be a little biased in saying all these wonderful things about SACHAJUAN's new Bodycare range of products because my company Scicheck.com distributes the full range of SACHAJUAN's beautiful products, but I'm not because to be honest these products write themselves...and I use these products myself as all products in SACHAJUAN's fabulous range of Haircare and Bodycare are that good.

SACHAJUAN's Intensive Hair Repair Shampoo and Conditioner are just the same with how fantastic these products are as unlike the Hair Repair these work deep into the hair follicle to strengthen the hair and keeps on working even after you have washed your hair. These products also deeply nourish the hair on the outside as well as the inside to make your hair look the healthiest it has ever looked, the most volumist that it has ever looked, as well as making the hair really shine.

These products smell as divine and luxurious as ever with these Intensive Hair Repair Shampoo and Conditioner having within them SACHAJUAN's patented Ocean Silk Technology that again combines the great scents of SACHAJUAN with key minerals of the sea to along with making your hair the best it has ever looked it gives your hair maximum stability, maximum shine and maximum volume without weighing your hair down.

Lianna la Havaas -Age and Gotye-Someone I use to know!

Thanks to 'Later live...with Jools Holland' I saw this really talented girl last year on his show and fell in lve with her song 'Age' and then last week in Culture Magazine there she was and the magazine was even saying that you really needed to hear her...and I think you should too.

Then last night I was out for a drink in my local with my sisters and this song popped on the sound system which I have to say really suprised me as down here in Dorset where I live there tends to be a very frustratingly long wait for any new or good songs to be heard by anyone, so new songs that reachthat is new and you hear it it's like gold dust.

Anyhew... I absolutly love this song as it sounds really chilled out and makes me want to go sit on the beach and crack open a few of the small bottles of peroni that you can get after catching a few waves...this is my ideal way to spend the day. And I have just found out that you can download her album Forget from Amazon.

The other day I also found Gotya-Someone I used to know as I had been hearing this everywhere for weeks and not knowing who sang this fantastic song but it still got stuck in my head for days and it always annoyed me how I never really knew who sang it but thanks to the medium of Youtube.com I found this and now I can't stop playing the video...because a) I love this song and b) I always get mixed up what the lyrics are because I think they are really good lyrics and ingenius like the lyrics to a Jamie T song...i.e in one of his songs he has the lyric of 'see you later aligator'.

The lyrics though as I found out are:

'Now and then I think when we were together,
Like when you said you felt so happy you could die
Told myself that you were right for me
But felt so lonely in your company
But that was love and it's an ache I still remember

You can get addicted to a certain kind of sadness
Like resignation to the end
Always the end
So when we found that we could not make sense
Well you said that we would still be friends
But I'll admit that I was glad that it was over

But you didn't have to cut me off
Make out like it never happened
And that we were nothing
And I don't even need your love
But you treat me like a stranger
And that feels so rough
You didn't have to stoop so low
Have your friends collect your records
And then change your number
Now your somebody that I used to know

Now and then I think of all the times you screwed me over
But had me believeing it was alays something that I'd done
And I don't wanna live that way
Reading into every word you say
You said that I could let it go
And I wouldn't catch you hung up on somebody that I used to know

But you didn't have to cut me off
Make out like it never happened
And that we were nothing
And I don't even need your love
But you treat me like a stranger
You didn't need to stoop so low
Have your friends collect your records
And then change your number
Now your somebody that I used to know

I used to know...
That I used to know

Somebody'

It's not another teaser, this time it's official...The Amazing Spiderman Trailer!

Unlike the one that I posted yesterday...there is up on Youtube.com today and according to Empire Magazine this is an official trailer! Hooray!

Like I said yesterday this is definitly a stand alone Spidey film from Marc Webb and unlike the one I put up yesterday which didn't really show any of Spiderman putting his skills on show...you know taking run and jumps off buildings while using his webs as sort of safety nets to stop him falling, it just showed more of Peter Parker being a bit of a mystery and him not really knowing what happened to his parents...therefore it teased (sorry for the pun but it wasn't intentional) at there being more of a mystery to this film than the Sam Raimi Spidey films.

But I do have to say that when I read on Empire Magazine's website that Dennis Leary who plays George Stacey who is Spideys/Peter Parker's foe and in-law I was a bit baffled because if this is the surname of the girl that Peter Parker is 'married' to then there obviously no MJ and where the hell did Peter Parker get married...so this really is I think it is fair to say a stand alone film.

But it might just be me but when Spiderman runs off a building and leaps off it I found myself while watching this trailer really feeling it in my stomach...I guess this is an affect of the 3D that this film is shot in.

And thankfully mixed in with this fast paced fighting scenes and leaping off buildings there is a few jokes...aside from the awkward dinner scene with the in-laws that isn't made any better by Peter Parker arguing with his father in law.

Also unlike in the teaser we the cinemagoers get to see a lot more of the half lizard half man foe that Rhys Ifans plays...and boy does he look scary...well sort of a little version of godzilla running round the streets causing havoc.

Still though I can't wait to see this in 3D when this comes out on July 3rd 2012.

21 Jump Street new teaser trailer!

Finally after many months of seeing this trailer for the new comedy 21 Jump Street that all Johnny Depp fans will instantly recognise as the TV series that he did.

Finally there is a trailer on Apple.com that was uploaded to their website yesterday:

Here is the link for the trailer below:
http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/sony_pictures/21jumpstreet/

This though I have to say looks like a watered down version that I saw around christmas time and this may sound a very long time to not write a post about this what looks like a hilarious new comedy starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum but I couldn't find anywhere via the usual routes where I get trailers from i.e Youtube, Apple or Yahoo! the actual trailer till today...and as you can imagine that got me very frustrated!

Phil Lord and Christopher Miller will direct and Jonah Hill and Michael Bacall wrote what looks to be like a very comical version of 'Never Been Kissed' except this time this is more 21st Century and there a two undercover police officers pretending to be teenagers instead of a journalist that is played by Drew Barrymore pretendeing to be a teenager so as to write a pathetic story for the paper about 'what today's teenagers are like'.

I do have to say though with the back story of Jonah Hill's character Schmit and Channing Tatum's character Jenko joining the police force after high school so as to to leave their teenage problems behind, but they are then assigned to join the undercover Jump Street force that wants them to go undercover in their old high school to crack a drugs ring using their still youthful appearances, I was very sceptical as to how this would be as this film is described an action/comedy and not just purely a comedy film as well as having the preconcieved idea that the story of going into a high school undercover had already been done before with 'Never Been Kissed'...but I then saw the teaser trailer for this and I have to say that I thought this was hilarious.

To me this film does look like it is just a comedy but it does look like there are some elements of the awesome comedy 'Wedding Crashes'....and that there may be a bit of action but not so much hardcore action so as to detract from the comedy.

New Teaser Trailer for Hunger Games!

I was perusing Apple.com/trailers and one of the most recently updated trailers is this new teaser trailer for the Hunger Games film that is being released on the 23rd March as well as this new poster for the film.

This teaser trailer that was uploaded onto their website yesterday and I have to say I think that this isn't as good as the full theatrical trailer on the official website for this movie...meaning that this looks like it has cut out all the action and suspense.

Here is the link for this new teaser trailer:

http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/lions_gate/thehungergames/

And if you want to have a perusal of the official movie website, here this is:

http://www.thehungergamesmovie.com/index2.html

This if you have not spotted it before stars Lenny Kravitz....no your eyes are not decieving you it is really Lenny Kravitz in an acting role, which I don't want to seem to harsh when I say this but I think this acting is good for him at the moment because I have heard the new single that he has released off his new album and I don't think it is very good, I even saw him perform this single on X Factor America and there wasn't much of response from the audience so he enevetably had to revert back to what everybody knows and loves....'Are You Gonna Go My Way'.

The backstory for this if you don't already know is that every year in the ruins of what was once North America, Panem the capitol of the nation forces the twelve districts to send out a teenage boy and girl to compete in what is known as the Hunger Games. Here, 'Tributes' fight against each other on national television to the death until one survivor remains. Jennifer Lawrence's character Katniss goes in her little sisters place to fight in the games and she has to rely on the training from the former victor now turned drunk Haymitch Abernathy as well as her own insticts.

Along with Jennifer Lawrence leading the cast there is Josh Hutcherson who you may recognise from the film that is out at the moment 'Journey 2 Mystery Island', Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrleson from 'Cheers', Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci who you may recognise from 'The Devil Wears Prada'  (he played the gay assistant), Donald Sutherland who you'll recognise from , Wes Bently who you may recognise from 'American Beauty' as he played the guy next door that filmed everything, Tobey Jones who has been in the modern adaption of Poirot:Murder on the Orient Express as the gangster that everyone kills, Amandla Stenberg, Alexander Ludwig who has been in a film called the Seeker (this you may not have seen but I have and it's a bit of a if nothing good is on TV watch it as it's a bit shit but watchable shit),  Isabelle Fuhrman, Isabelle Fuhrman (from 'Orphan'), Jacqueline Emerson, Paula Malcomson, Dayo Okeniyi, Jack Quaid, Leven Rambin, and Willow Shields.

Gary Ross, Billy Ray and Suzanne Collins(who has written this best seling set of books) have written this. Colour Force along with Jon Kilik will produce but Gary Ross will direct this.

New Trailer for The Amazing Spiderman!

I have just read on Collider.com that there is now an official full blown trailer out on line for The Amazing Spiderman...and I have to say this is very exciting news!

Here is the link to this on Apple.com:

http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/sony_pictures/theamazingspiderman/

I have to say, that this trailer shows that this new Spiderman film is going to be very different from the Toby McGuire Spiderman films. It seems like from this trailer that there is going to be more going on  in this film than the simple story of Peter Parker getting bit and turning into Spider Man...i.e it seems there seems like there is going to be an air of mystery surrounding Peter Parker and his parents...very different to the Tobey McGuire films!

Also I have to say that in this film they seem to have made Peter Parker more loner than before which again shows that the director on this film has really wanted this Spiderman film to stand on it's own two feet apart from the other Spider Man films as well as the cartoon of Spiderman,-but then again I just thought that big budget movies are always different from the cartoons that they have been adapted from-.

Not much has leaked onto the internet about this (for me anyway) highly anticipated Spiderman film's story yet but I'm guessing that when it comes closer to Spidy's UK release date of 4th July 2012 that there will be more trailers, press stills and other updates that will get put onto internet websites all around the world.

I've just gone onto the official website for this Marc Webb directed film and if you want a peak at this then here is the link below:

http://theamazingspiderman.com/

And this time I'm glad to see that we here in the UK don't have to wait so long for this film to be screened in cinemas over here like with some films that get screened over in America first and we cinemalovers have to wait what seems like ages for a film to come over here...it is very frustrating when this happens!.

Anyhew...as well as this there are some new picture stills that have come out today from Entertainment Weekly:

amazing-spider-man-andrew-garfield-damage amazing-spider-man amazing-spider-man-andrew-garfield amazing-spider-man-andrew-garfield-cap amazing-spider-man-andrew-garfield-chris-zylka amazing-spider-man-andrew-garfield-dark amazing-spider-man-andrew-garfield-emma-stone amazing-spider-man-andrew-garfield-glasses amazing-spider-man-andrew-garfield-image amazing-spider-man-andrew-garfield-peter-parker amazing-spider-man-andrew-garfield-set-image amazing-spider-man-andrew-garfield-stunt amazing-spider-man-andrew-garfield-subway amazing-spider-man-andrew-garfield-wallpaper  amazing-spider-man-banner amazing-spider-man-campbell-scott

And here is Rhys Ifans as the new professor gone bad....as he will be become half lizard half man:

amazing-spider-man-rhys-ifans amazing-spider-man-rhys-ifans-lizard

So knowing that this will be released in 3D will make for really interesting viewing this time around and I think that this new technology will add more to this new character that has come along for the movie treatment from the comics.
