Justin Bieber songs!

I know I know, I have to be honest here I am not Justin Bieber's biggest fan but the other day I heard two new Bieber songs...his latest 'Boyfriend' and the one he's done with Far East Movemnent...the later song I think is Far East Movement's better song as opposed to their song 'Jello' which just sounds like 'Like a G6' but the word 'G6' has been removed and replaced with 'Jello'.

'Boyfriend' is the first single from his new album 'Believe', the track co-written by Mike Posner, Mason D. Levy and would you believe it but it was also co-written by Bieber himself...but,now I'm going to go against what 'Rolling Stone Magazine' have said here, and say that I don't know how true this is because there are a lot of people in the charts today like Pixie Lott or Katy Perry who say they write their own songs but you either find out when you get the song on downloads or in hard copy and it says on the back that only two or three songs were written by the artist and that other artists like Taio Cruise or Ne-yo or some other talented singer/song writer has written most of the songs on the album...I think this is such a cop out, and I understand that it is hard to write a song that sounds great but come on I think that if say you write your songs and they've all been hits then it really shows fans as well as critics that you are really talented and that you can write, sing and that you aren't just like a carbon copy, karaoke 'X Factor' singer.

Anyhew...I digress, 'Boyfriend' is according to 'Rolling Stone':

"An edgier-than-usual track that finds the teen idol singing and rapping...."

Well that is true that he is rapping in this song but is it just me or has someone got a sound bite of an owl hooting and thought that it would be a good idea to put this on the backing track of the record?

Anyhew...this album is set to get released in the summer and would you believe this but this album is his 5th album...I didn't think he had done that many albums, oh well that just shows how I'm not a fan of Bieber.

The 'Live My Life' song that Justin Bieber has done with the 'Far East Movement', in case you've listened to this song and your wondering why the hell they keep mentioning 'Dirty Bass' well they keep mentioning it because this is the name of 'The Far East Movement's ' album so if your thinking of getting this then I can guess that their hit that has to be for me on any party or summer party playlist 'Like a G6' will be on the album.

This track has been produced by RedOne who made Jennifer Lopez come back song 'On the Floor ft Pitbull' sound for me anyway really good and he has also worked with Lady Gaga.

According to Kev Nish from Far East Movement:

"We're thrilled to have Justin be a part of Dirty Bass," says rapper Kev Nish. "Far East Movement has always focused on unexpected collaborations and mashing up musical genres which keeps making music exciting. 'Live My Life' is a song we think both Far East Movement and Bieber fans will enjoy together."

Anyhew you can listen to these above and make what you will about these tracks.
I have put up the new video for Katy Perry's 'Part of Me' which if you ask me has just been released by her just for the sake of it as in the advert for the Katy Perry special Sims game there is a clip of this rubbish song (if your a Katy Perry fan then you'll be a bit offensed by this but you must admit that if you like me have listened to the lyrics it makes the song sound like she didn't really put much effort into this song or it just took 5 seconds to write).

And I have to say that this video is shit as it has nothing to do with the song and is really stupid and after I first saw this video I have to say that afterwards I was sat there thinking 'What The Hell was that all about?'.

Canon Ball!!!!!!!!!! Ron Burgundy is coming back!

Breaking news compadras....there will be a sequel to 'Achorman:the Legend of Ron Burgundy'!

I am soooo excited about this and as you can imagine it is not just me that has gone crazy at this news...if you don't believe me you should see the post on Empire Magazine's website breaking this news because they and other websites are literally using in any way shape or form quotes from this legendary one of a kind film that if you don't have this in your DVD collection at home then what the hell don't you have it already because it is sooooo god damn funny and there is not another film like it.

Anyhew...according to the statement from Paramount Pictures that Entertainment Weekly got:

"Steve Carrel and Paul Rudd (Brick and Brian if you are a massive fan of the film like I am) will definitely be coming back, though all others are still up in the air. Will Ferrel and Adam McKay will co-write the script and McKay will be back to direct. Gary Sanchez Productions will produce along with Judd Apatow Productions, and the movie is expected to get underway toward the end of the year for release in 2013 ".

As soon as I saw this as I am huge fan of 'Anchorman' (and if I might say so myself this film is on my list of must watch films when your not feeling on top of your game and you need a little pick me up, or if you just want to have a good laugh you must watch this as you'll definitly be quoting this film like I do with my sisters for a very long time) that this was the best news I had heard all day and just wanted to scream with excitement because I couldn't believe that the comedy gold from this film was going to recreated.

And in case you are pinching yourself at this news to see if it real and not just a cruel joke Adam McKay has just Tweeted that they are writing this now and plan to start shooting in February....can't wait for this!

But I as for other details on this this is all that has come out soo far so I have to say that there is no word on whether or not the other star of the show will return 'Dorothy Mantooth...she is a saint!'

Also we have no word on whether the full news team will assemble with Champ or if the whole thing will have been moved on or not...if it were up to me I would have them moved on like the format of the news show has moved on, the fashions and the haircuts but the whole newsteam mentality hasn't and Wes Mantooth's (Vince Vaughn) Numero 2 News Team still hate Ron Burgundy's...because if I remeber rightly Wes says at the end of the film to Ron (Will Ferrel) that he 'Straight out with every being in my body hate you but god damn it I respect you'.

The Host teaser trailer!

edappenI know that I've not been posting for what feels like a very long time but I have had to cry off sick with a sprained wrist so I am trying to play catch up here so bear with me please.

Thanks to the miracle of Empire Magazine online the teaser of 'The Host' was out on the 22nd March this I have just seen looks like the film could be exciting which would be great if it was all action packed and things were moving like in a 'Bourne' film.

I only say this as I have read this Stephanie Meyer book and I have to be honest...it was not my cup of tea and I think I was blind sided into reading this book as I had started reading the other 'Twilight' book and they were really good with a lot of things happening especially in the last book that was probably the same size as 'Harry Potter' book-which if you have read these set of books and is pretty hefty and very hard going as I think if I remember rightly the last Harry Potter took me a month to read.

Anyhew...I read this book for this reason and I also have to say because I am a fan of the Twilight films but this book wasn't anything like 'The Twilight' books it was very very very slow...and was easy to put me to sleep and the only action that ever happened in the book was in all the flash back that Wanderer (the alien that has been implanted into 'The Host' Melanie) has of Melanie's life as one of the rebellious few humans who have been running and hiding from the groups of people who were charged with the task of finding humans to use for the aliens who have invaded the earth.

So now there is a teaser trailer which you can have a little perusal at:

Saiorise Ronan I have to say looks good as Melanie/Wanderer but I was just thinking that when I read the book it said that everything about the alien inside of a host cannot be seen it is very subtle so that they can blend in with society and it is by having a look at their eyes you can see that they aren't a human but if I remember correctly this is still subtle and you can only identify them by a glazed look in their eyes.

So...I'm thinking that this is just one of very many chops and changes in this upcoming film that will be coming out on March 29th 2013.

But I'm not surprised as I've read many books and then gone to see the film afterwards and somethings have been kept in from the book but other things have been created so as to make it more of a interesting storyline...in this case then there will definitely have to be some big changes to make this an interesting story.

Totally cool dude...the Teenager Mutant Ninja Turtles are getting a movie!

It just might be me but when I first read this I had to do a double take as I couldn't believe this was true.

But according to I Am Rogue and according to Michael Bay and his production company Patinum Dunes partners Andrew Form and Brad Fuller are going to produce this film that is scheduled to come out in December 23rd 2013.

But there is as Michael Bay has said going to be some changes:

"Paramount marketing changed the name. They made the title simple. The characters you all remember are exactly the same, and yes they still act like teenagers. Everything you remember, why you liked the characters, is in the movie. This script is being developed by two very smart writers, with one of the original creators of Ninja Turtles. They care VERY MUCH about making this film for the fans. Everyone on this team cares about the fans. Just give them a chance. Jonathan the director, is a major fan of the whole franchise. HE'S NOT GOING TO LET YOU DOWN."

So now the name has been changed to Ninja Turtles...but according to the director Jonathan Liebsen the 'heroes in a half shell', (sorry I couldn't resist as I was and still is a big kid when it comes to 'The Mutant Ninja Turtles') are no longer teenagers or mutants...so what the hell is the actual story going to be and how can the story of a group of turtles and a rat are exposed to a toxic goo to make them 'mutants' and then this rat teaches them the ways of the ninja be made into a 21st Century logical story.

Oh well I suppose this headache witll have to be worked out by Andre Nemec and Josh Applebaum...and this I am guessing is going to be good as this dynamic duo wrote the fantastic Mission Impossible:Ghost Protocol which I am sooo excited to say is coming out on DVD on April 17th.

Really can't wait for this!

24:the movie has hit the brakes I'm afraid to say!

Yes my firnds even if it is sad to say it the movie event we had all been waiting for has come to a stand still so it is reported by Deadline New York.

They reported on the 14th that Kiefer Sutherland was not only unhappy about the postposnment but as 20th Century Fox wanted a budget of $45-60million to make the film which had them making this film at a cost but they always thought that they'd reap the rewards after....and this meant that they asked Kiefer Sutherland to take a wage of $1million dollars upfront to star in this film, but as you can guess Sutherland turned this down as he had gone back twice before with revised asks of $5million then said he'd do it for $3million.

Although Sutherland would have got $2million at the most he still said no, aqnd then 20th Century Fox thought that it was too much for them to try and make this film in the short time of seven weeks of preproduction work for the film...this to me sounds ridiculous as I heard that both Kiefer and the makers of this film had the idea to make this film in 24hr real time so if your going to do this for the storyline then I think that it's a tight deadline for the story of the film anyway so if the creators want it to be as good as the series,-which by the way I had my eyes glued to then I am sad to say I stopped watching it for some unknown reason and fell behind in everything that had been happening- then the timing of the preproduction has to be done right.

Kiefer Sutherland did go a little way I think on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' to address why it's taken so long to get this thing into cinemas by saying that "Unfortunatly because of my schedual we are trying to fit a lot of moving parts and other people's scheduals we are trying to fit it in if we don't get it in this slot we will do it next year".

So I think this answers some questions.

There's going to be another Cat in the Hat!

As you'll prpbabl thinking like me...'What is going on I thought Mike Myers was already the cat in the hat?' well you are right but there's another one on the cards to make it right and to try and make us forget about that one which films are trying to do with that god aweful Alex Pettyfer and Vanessa Hudgens 'Beauty and the Beast' as Emma Watson is said to be in one version and Vincent Cassel also said to be in a version...but to be honest I loved that film and anytime it's on the TV I like to sit and watch it.

Now that may just be me but I do have to say that I thought that that film really did get what the cat in the hat was suppose to be about!

According to Deadline New York:

"Universal Pictures' Illumination Entertainment Chris Meledandri and Audrey Geisel will tap the Dr. Seuss library for another classic tale, and this one is a suprise. They will begin developing a 3D CG-animated feature based on the Cat In The Hat. Rob Lieber has just been set to write the script. Meledandri will produce and Geisel will executive produce".

But interestingly Illumination Entertainment is already going to do a live action interspersed with animation life story of Dr. Seuss that is going to be produced by Chris Meledandri David Kennedy and as it has Johnny Depp attached to it which I think he will be brilliant for this role his production company Infinitum Nihil and his production partner Christi Debrowski will also produce.

Eric Cantona in a film...again!

This is the oddest thing I have ever seen today but I just had to blog about this...Eric Cantona has done a film called 'Switch' that is going to be coming to DVD and Blu:Ray soon

I am a long time supporter of Manchester United and absolutly loved it when he used to play for u's but this isn't the first time I have had this feeling of weirdness while seeing him in a film as while I was still at school I was in a History lesson and I was in the middle of watching a film about Elizabeth I and there was Daniel Craig, Cate Blanchete and Joseph Fienness then all of a sudden Eric Cantona popped up on the screen...let me tell you I was thinking 'how the hell is he in this with all these other actors?'

I just felt like bursting out laughing as I couldn't beleive it was the same Eric Cantona that had played football all that time ago as well as making that stupid speech about seagulls...still to this day can't work out what the hell he was talking about?

Anyhew...this will be out on March 30th.

I do have to say though this film does have some similarities with Jason Bourne, I mean in the way that in the second film he is accused of killing those agents of Pamela Landy in Berlin when he was all the way in India and he has to do all manner of things to get to the bottom of it and see who really did it.

I say this as the story is that Canadian holidaymaker Sophie Malaterre who is played by Karine Vanasse who switches Canada for staying in Paris but soon realises that this offer of staying in Paris was too good to be true as she is accused of all manner of crimes that she has blatently not committed.

And as you can see Eric is the cop who she has to assist her in finding out who or what is behind all these crimes.

Finally sooo excited...it's finally here Dark Shadows trailer is here!

I can't believe this finally here, mainly because I am such a big fan of both Tim Bu rton and Johnny Depp, and not only this but yesterday there was a first still of Johnny Depps' 'Lone Ranger'.

This looks hilarious to me... eventhough this is suppose to be a dark gothic themed movie that is more in line with the millions of other Depp/Burton collaborations like 'Sleepy Hollow', 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory', 'Alice in Wonderland', (these other two movies that they've done are from what I think is a different view that other people see the story and therefore no one ever thinks the story could be either retold from or told from).

Anyhew...this film had me in tears of laughter the first time I saw this trailer as again Johnny Depp is on form as Barnabus Collins who was turned into a vampire by the witch Angelique who is played by Eva Green in 1752, and no only was he turned into a vampire but he was buried alive and it was only in 1972 when he was accidently dug up that he comes back his home Collinwood Manor to see what has become of his descendents...but as you can see from this trailer they haven't amounted to a lot.

Even though this film shows Barnabus having to adjust to a very different abd strange 1972 but he still has to deal with Angelique hanging around...and I think that from the looks of this trailer that the fun is made funner by the scenes between Eva Green's character and Johnny Depps's character, especially I think the awkwardness hightens the comedy meaning that when Eva's character tries to seduce him and he likes her but as he's a vampire it's harder for him to do things.

I think here I may have got a bit ponsy but even though it is a classic trick that directors or comedy writers or comedians use-awkwardness in situations- it is very often...well I think what gets the biggest and best laughs...like when you hear an old joke you hear yourself saying the punchline or you can see where someone's story is gooing but you still find yourself laughing at it...well this might just be me but still the same point applies.

Anyhew...I still can't wait to see this when it arrives in cinemas on May 11.

I just put this first still of 'The Lone Rangers'...this could be interesting but it's still Johnny Depp and I'll still go and see it when this goes to cinemas on May 13th 2013, and in case your wondering it's Arnie Hammer who will be playing the main role of John Reid.

I just thought that the facial expression of Johnny Depp in this still makes me think he still in the mind set of Captain Jack Sparrow and he's thinking 'Who on earth is this guy sat on a horse next to me and why do I have a bloody great big black crow on my head?'.

Oh well...as this has just started back shooting with Gore Verbinski's team back working on it (this was one of the many stipulations of getting Johnny Depp to be in this movie) and Jerry Bruckheimer who will produce this it really is too early I think for me to say if this film looks like it could be a hit but whatever happens with it I think that you'll still get droves of fans and families going to see this Disney family fun adventure film.

New Music Video...Yes!

I know this may seem a bit excessive but I have found these tracks thanks to Twitter updates and I have also just found this new Florence and the Machine track just by coincidence as I was originally listening to a 'The Hives' track and this popped up from VEVO.

All the other tracks especially 'Kids In Glass Houses'-Diamond Days' track I saw this on muzu.tv which now that I have found this website I really don't know what I was doing before I found this website, but no matter anyway as I have now found this website and I absolutly love this as it's much more simpler than Youtube.com...no offense to Youtube.com users as I also use the website but I hate having to go through the numerous videos of music lovers doing their own version of the song oonlying their version of the official music video.

Anyhew... I only saw 'The Fray-Run for Your Life' today as although this was put up online on their Facebook page yesterday I was ill so couldn't get to a computer but alas I still saw it which is the main point.

I like it but I know that 'The Fray' is not everyone's cup of tea but that's ok, and I just had the thought that the piano in the intro of the song could go one or two ways...the main way that it could go is that it could sound like the intro to Leona Version of SnowPatrol's Run...and I have to get this off my chest but it still pisses me off that this song isn't even hers and whenever it's played the radio dj just says 'That was Leona Lewis with Run' as if this was all thought up by her...WTF the only reason this became anything was she didn't have to do anything as Snow Patrol wrote a really fantastic song and she just slowed it right down....and for that she gets a number 1 and America loves her!

I was really excited when I heard this song as well as 'Kids In Glass Houses-Diamond Days', 'You Me At Six-No One Does It Better' and I think this is my 2012 favourite song at the moment 'LMFAO-Sorry For Party Rockin'.

I am massive fan of both You Me At Six and Kids In Glass Houses so I might be a bit biased but both these bands albums are soooo amazing I can't get enough of them....I seriously listen to one album and have it on repeat for months and then I have to alternate so that I don't get sick of it and ruin it for myself.

'No One Does It Better' is just one of my favourites on 'Sinners Never Sleep' but to be honest I couldn't really pick my best off that album as I love all the songs soooo much!

I like this M.I.A new track but do have to admit that there are aspects of the video that do look like it was either filmed using CJI or using a greenscreen...but all the cars going on their sides look really cool to me,-even if they're not real-.

I do normally like Florence and the Machine tracks as when I get behind getting an album like 'Ceremonies' or 'Lungs' I really wish I had bought it at my local HMV (or readers of this blog will know it could double for a second home for me) as all their tracks are just sooo easy to sing along to and fall in lovew with...but this video just made me fall out of love with her kind of as this really was making me sit watching the video while scratching my head trying to work out WTF was going on in it or why their seemed to be water or some black shit pouring out of her mouth or pouring from her fingers...I think now I'll never know now and think that it's all a bit melodramatic, emo, over the top or whatever you want to call it....but if this offends some of Florence's fans I am sorry.

Anyhew...I think it's easy to say that this if I bought the album 'Ceremonies' this would be my most hated song on the album./

Nissan DeltaWing goes to the 24hr race of legend...Le Mans!

Nissan DeltaWing

This is if your like me and already drooling over how cool this looks as well as sleek, small and probably this might sound a bit too petrol headed of me but this sleek, small and elogant design looks like it has been done on purpose in the Frankenstein stage of this car...pardon the pun, for making the car arodynamic (don't quote me on this spelling) i.e the sleek cut down shape and size of the car's chassy gives the car the added advantage of cutting through wind that bit faster than any other car that it takes on.

This now that I've thought about it has got me thinking that the chief engineer behind this car might come from an experienced background say Formula 1 where things like aerodynamics has to be thought about so as to help the team win over the other Formula teams and to achieve this all cars have to be tested through wind tunnels.

This is why as you can guess that this was the Formula 1 engineered car that was used in Batman the musical that had Batman face all of his enemies...and as you can see from the title of this post that it is going to go to race in Le Mans and this race if your not excited by cars like me you won't get how Le Mans is sooo exciting and is really a 24hr race where anything can happen and it usually does but it's also a race that is legendary and whoever wins it is put into the long long list of others who are now part of the history of such an awesome race...

But I have just had a thought about the unfortunate accident that Formula 1's  Robert Kubica had last year  and that ruled him out for all last Formula 1 season, so lets hope that all the proper safety precortions have been taken to stop something like this happening again.

Anyhew...the DeltaWing will be in Garage 54 and according to Top Gear this:

"...is a spot reserved for one-off experiental cars..."

And this Nissan DeltaWing is pretty much that an experiental car that's according to Marino Franchitti:

"It doesn't look like it's going to work...."

"...but it does. The high-speed stability was very impressive. It's mega".

This vague answer as to whether this car is actually good or not makes me think that at the head of Nissan they saw this prototype and immediatly started to have ideas that made him look like he was a kid in a sweet shop and didn't know what sweet he wanted as there are so many...well this car does get you thinking!

Anyhew...Nissan guess that the car will get around the track between LMP1 and LMP2 class pace (that's fast), and that the lap time that they want this four cylinder 1.6 litre turbo engined car to get is 3m 45secs.

Guess who's back...The Hives!

I'm sorry that I've not been keeping up to date on here lately but I have been away nursing a sprained wrist.

Anyhew...I've just read on Rollingstone Magazine that The Hives one of my favourite bands are all set to release a new album 'Lex Hives' in June.

I've also just heard their first single from this album that they are all set to release 'Go Right Ahead'....this is AMAZING! and just reminds me of their other AMAZING song 'Tick Tick Boom'.

http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/exclusive-stream-the-hives-return-with-go-right-ahead-20120312?link=mostpopular1

I suggest that you have a little listen to this and as you can see above, this is the link for you to have a little listen to this song yourself.

This is really frustrating but the intro to this new song of theirs that it sounds like another song that I've heard...and thanks to the combination of my wonderful brain that has been brainwashed by my local radiostations Wessex FM love of all things old and nostalgic and Youtube.com, I have just found out what this big guitar intro.

This is if you haven't already guessed it is...drum role please!!!!!!!!!!!!

ELO-Don't bring me down. In case your wondering what this sounds like here it is:

This new song by 'The Hives' is great though as I was starting to miss their massively adrenaline pumping songs, that are for me make me remember how with every song and music video of theirs made me want to sit down next to the radio that was playing one of their songs or their videos made me stop channel hopping between Kerrang!, Q, MTV, MTV2, FIZZ, BLISS, THE BOX and NME TV and watch it as their music videos were really really good.

I think now that 'The Hives' are back it can only mean good things for music and I'm not ashamed to say it but I have missed them and will wait with baited breath for when their will be an official date for when their new album in five years (as RollingStone Magazine says, and now that I think about it that is a really really long time to be away from the music scene...bloody hell what the hell have they been doing all this time in Sweden!).

Oh well...can't be too harsh I suppose as this song really makes up for their long absense. Also if like me you are now wanting to wet your apetite and reaquaint yourself with all their awesomeness here they are below:
