Milla Jovovich new facev of Campari

Thanks to Stylist Magazine putting this up on their website that the Resident Evil actress is now the new face of a new 2011 Campari Campaign Calender that has been titled 'It's the end of the world baby!'.

If you ask me these series of fashion shots are really good the way they have been put together makes them look like the set art for the Tim Burton Batman films...i.e they look like they were from a graphic novel or comic book and have popped up in a fashion shoot.

Milla Jovovich's Campari calendar shoot

This is just one of the campaign shots that are like they've been transported from the page of a book onto a cinema screen, this is not too far away from the truth as the whole theme for the calender shoot was as the magazine says that these images were inspired from modern cinematography, mythology, and biblical origins.

These scenes are very vivid and are a toast to life and a representation of ancient theories about the end of the world...so Stylist Magazine states...if this image is anything to go by then it really brings Campari rip roaring screaming into the 21st Century and for me this gives the drinks brand an edge that other alcoholic drinks don't have as for example the other night I saw a Gin and Tonic advert and it just shows Philip Glenister and another actressv who's name I can't remember at the moment but she was in Waking The Dead, and all the advert shows is them at a pretentious drinks party saying how pretentious the people at the party are but they're still drinking it because all you need to know is that the Gin is nice and it's drinkable...but its the same for the new already mixed drinks in a can...it looks old fashioned.

These shots make Milla look really sexy and show the drink is out with the old look that it had and in with the new movie inspired shots.

I'll be definitly trying this new look Campari to see if I can change my mind about this drink tasting like wheat and barley.

New Mission Impossible Trailer on line and fully operational!

Oh yeah...this is really exciting and this new post is about to show how much of a Mission Impossible fan I am and I have to say that I did laugh a bit when the iconic Mission Impossible hanging from the ceiling made a long awaited return to this new Ghost Protocol film.

This film is coming to cinemas on December 26th and thankfully this film will go back to the first film which I have to say is where my love for all things Mission Impossible came from especially red light/ green light (this is a reference to Mission Impossible I if your not so avid a fan as I am, and this refers to how one of the gadgets that Ethan uses is a red and green chewing gum that is a bomb).

I say this uses a lot of things from the first film as the story again shows Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise's character) and his whole team are blamed for a mission at the Kremlin going very badly wrong. And as this goes wrong  the Kremlin come out saying that this is an act of war by the US and as a result the US government start up Ghost Protocol,-which leaves the whole team dissenvowed and left as renegades.

So... when their convoy are shot up leaving several members dead the rest of Hunt's team Ethan Hunt, Brandt Hunt (Jeremy Renner), Benji Dunn (Simon Pegg), and Jane Carter (Paula Patton) have to use what skills they have left to get to the bottom of all of this...but is their a mole in their midst?

I just can't wait to see this and I'll probably knowing me I'll make sure that this film is showing at my local cinema in Dorchester, Dorset and be the first one in the queue to see this or I'll probably just make sure starting from midnight onwards that I'm the first one...this sounds ridonculous I know but I have done this before.

Ving Rhames, Josh Holloway, Michael Nyqvist, Anil Kapoor, Tom Wilkinson and Lea Seydoux are also suited and booted for this film which was directed by Brad Bird.

Thank goodness for Empire Magazine as without this or Youtube I wouldn't be able to see this new trailer and share my excitement for this film on this blog!

I do have to say though that I hope that this film doesn't follow the suite of Mission Impossible I and III (the latter I have to admit even though I watch the other Mission Impossible films religiously and have the whole collection of films on DVD but I don't watch this 3rd one as it's shit and again has Tom Cruise as the one being accused of being a mole but instead of having a meeting with the head of IMF and using the exploding chewing gum there is his wife who shoots the bad guy), and has Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) as being accused as a mole in the IMF.

I only say this as you can only do so many films in this vein before you loose your audience as they will get bored

Stuntman dies on set of Expendables 2

Other than the sad and questionable nature of bringing this film back for a sequal there was a stunt that went horribly wrong as it left one stuntman dead and another having to be sent to hospital and he is now reportadly in a stable but critical condition.

According to Deadline Hollywood the incident happened on Thursday at a little after 7:00pm local time as the second unit stunt team were filming a scene that involved an explosion. The location for this filming was on reservoir Ognyanovo, 15 miles outside of Bulgaria's capital Sofia.

The local police has now launched an official investigation into the incident.

This incident reportedly happened while the main unit, including the director Simon West as well as the star producer Sylvester Stallone  were filming in the picturesque village resort of Bansko which is 2 1/2 hours away from where the actual incident took place.

Nu Image/Millenium Films (the production company behind this film), has put out an official statement for this saying that:

"Our hearts go out to the families and those on the production affected by this tragedy . The filmmakers are working closely with the authorities in responding to and investigating this accident."

Some of the cast that was in the first Expendables film have returned by the looks of it as the cast reel on Deadline reads:

  • Jason Statham
  • Bruce Willis
  • Sylvester Stallone
  • Arnold Schwarzenegger
  • Dolph Ludgren
  • Liam Hemsworth
  • Terry Crews
  • Jet Li
  • Chuck Norris
  • Jean- Claude Van Damme

Jane Austin to go Zombieland!

No no your eyes are not decieving you it is true that Pride and Prejudice is to have Zombies in it. This is also rumoured to have starring in it Blake Lively who according to CELEBUZZ is now going out with Ryan Reynolds.

But, this film has just suffered a set back in its pre-production though...its new director Craig Gillespie has just walked away from this Lionsgate backed movie according to Deadline Hollywood.

Deadline Holywood says that Craig Gillespie left this movie project "amicably" and that it:

"...had to do with things like who the cast in the film..."

So fingers crossed that Lionsgate gets a director as well as a cast that someone at least can work with because at the moment it sounds like a situation out of Tropic Thunder where the director Damien Cockburn can't work with his "...bunch of actors..."  if this is the situation then you definitly need to do what Les Groseman tells them to do "...pull down their pants and spank their asses..."

But if you ask me I don't really think this movie will do very well as if you want to ruin a really good Jane Austin story then this is probably the best way to go about it.

But saying about ruining good stories their is going to be another retelling of Oliver Twist but this time it will have Ashleigh Green in as the main character...and if you haven't guessed it yet but this retelling is going to be called Olivia Twisted and their is a new Wuthering Heights.

According to Coming Soon.net Olivia Twisted will star Ashleigh Green who is in charge of a "gang of criminal street urchins" this is Greene, who are asked to do a kidnapping job but this goes wrong as you can imagine and this turns into a turf war...this is as far removed from Charles Dickins' great literary creation.

And to top this all off the screenwriter for this new take on Charles Dickins' classic novel is a complete beginner...i.e this is his first attempt at screenwriting, and this is Michael Roberts, and this will be produced by Michael De Luca, Alissa Philips, Frank Mancusso Jr. and Eric Gores.

Sucker Punch's Sweet Dreams

I've just found the version of the Eurythmics 'Sweet Dreams' thanks to the help of Youtube.

I was just thinking who sung this version as I loved it when I first heard it in Sucker Punch although I do have to say that this particular Zack Snyder film was just a little bit fucked up in my opinion, but saying this I recently saw the WWE wrestler Stonecold Steve Austin in one of his "acting" roles "The Condemned".

This is a really fucked up film and after seeing this I can really see why on earth this never got it chance to be seen at the cinema as the whole thing was more squew if than Tim Burton.

The whole story behind this particular film is Steve Austin plays a retired special ops American soldier and he has been left for dead by his associates, therefore he is waiting the death penalty in a Venezuela prison and he is then "purchased" by a TV producer along with nine other condemned serial killers...and Vinnie Jones. These are then taken in a helicopter and dropped off onto a desolate island in different parts to fight to the death against each other, and each has been fitted with a bomb that each pull a red tape and each blow up.

Anyhew...Youtube has helped me to find out who sung this song but also I was watching the American X Factor and this song was given to Tiah Tolliver and on last night's Halloween  UK X Factor Kitty was given this to sing which prompted me to look for this. I thought at first that this version might be being used as it was finally being released into the charts.

Sherlock Holms 3 is on its way! And so does Riddick!

This little tit bit of news has got me very excited today considering its a Monday. According to Deadline New York Warner Bros. have been in talks with Drew Pearce who did some writing on Pacific Rim in which Guillermo del Toro is going to be shooting in Toronto for Legendary Pictures, and who is currently writing the script for Iron Man 3.

This deal with Pearce and Warner Bros. is all set to get sealed....so lets watch this space for the 3rd installment in this Guy Ritchie helmed franchise.

This though isn't the only film franchise that is getting another cinema outing as there is more word rippling  doing the rounds on the t'internnet  as Fast & Furious 6 is going to be filmed back to back with a Fast & Furious 7.

It was rumoured that Justin Lin who directed the other Fast & Furious movies had walked away from the directing chair of these latest films that Universal Pictures are eager to get a move on with, but this rumour I have since foound out was simply not true. Chris Morgan is as we speak busy working on ideas for this follow so it has been reported by the LA Times's blog The Envelope.

Justin Lin is still going to be sitting in the directorial chair for these, and there is already a release date pencilled in for Fast & Furious 6, this being May 24th 2013. But this is just a pencil date in the calender as the whole back to back idea of shooting both films would as you can imagine will cause a bit of pushing this date backwards as post production for the sixth would have to be put back for the shooting of the seventh one.

Also as you all in the know already know that the mighty franchise that is Riddick is coming back and that it has been taken back to the first Pitch Black film...this is yet again more principle photography from the film and yet again it looks great if this gets the greenlight and can stay in the film:

This looks epic to me, I think this is really great...looks really imposing and really looks more Necromonger than the uniform that they wore in The Chronicles of Riddick...which if you ask me was shit but I still watched it, that did though have some links back to Pitch Black but I think that the only link between this last film and Pitch Black was the character of Jack...if your not a fanatic about this set of films then you won't have a clue what I'm on about so here is what should fill in the blanks for you:

In Pitch Black jack was part of a ships crew that was transporting people from one planet to another as well as transporting one inmate of a prison who was Riddick who was highly dangerous as he had just escaped from a maximum security jail, this ship crashes onto an unknown planet overrun with alien creatures that were attacking all of this crew. Jack was a child at this point, had all his hair shaved and as soon as Riddick started helping the crew to survive he began to form some kind of a relationship with Riddick...but Riddick later found out as Jack was part of the 4 surviving members of the crew who hadn't been eaten by these creatures that Jack was in fact a girl that thought that it would be easier to be seen as a guy to get on a ship.

And in The Chronicles of Riddick when a group of mercinaries finally track Ridick down they take him to prison where they use vicious dog like animals to keep the inmates on their toes and here is where Riddick sees Jack again but she has since changed her name to if I can remember correctly Sabertooth as she carries a sharpened edge tooth in between her teeth and no one goes near her as she attacks them with it.

And the story for this film is as follows:

Betrayed by his own kind and left for dead on another desolate planet that is inhabited by alien predator creatures he has to fight in order to survive and becomes more dangerous and powerful than ever before. Bounty hunters from around the galaxy descend on this planet to get him but they soon realise that they are just pawns in Riddicks bigger picture for revenge. Leading on from this Riddick putting these bounty hunters right where he wants them he unleashes a vicious attack of revenge, then heads home to Furya to save it from total destruction.

Britney Criminal

I saw this on one of the many music blogs that are on the t'internet these days...and to quote Ron Burgundy Britney has gone'...back to (her) home on whore island...' this may seem harsh but there are for me a lot of scenes in the music video that needn't be there.

Also if you haven't noticed but Britney seems to be doing her bit of Product Placement in this video as in the first bit of the video there are two of her perfume fragrances in the bathroom where she goes to splash water on her face...this for me seems not only product placement for this but I think that as the advert for these are in my opinion are shit as they make the perfumes look shit and this is probably why these products have to be in the video as they are really not selling in their droves if these adverts are anything to go by.

In case your wondering who this guy is this is her now boyfriend but if you ask me this is a probable cause for claiming this video is soft porn and probably shouldn't air this on music video channels and should just keep this for private viewing pleasure...sorry no pun intended here it just was the first thing I thought of! lol!

Anyhew.... I think that I might just be getting old but I think that definitely there could have been a different kind of video done as this now I think about it she was probably done to give the video a 21st Century update to the Bonny & Clyde story of a couple holding up banks but instead of banks it now looks like Bonny & Clyde are now holding up Off Licences.

If you want to see this and see if you do/don't agree with these views or if you want to see it anyway then here it is below for your viewing pleasure...but I just thought that when it comes to editing this so as to put this on the music channels in the day how/or what are they going to do in order to clean it up before the watershed or is it just not going to be shown at all...if this is the case are their going to be millions of people like in the new music video for the laidback luke ft Example video groups of people having to hang round darkened alleys cramped around a computer screen or someone's mobile phone so as to see it.

This would look awquard...because if this is the case what's going to happen if the police catch these groups of people, the explanation's they'd have to give would have the police thinking that these people were taking the piss...and then when they've broken these groups up are they going to watch it and see what all these people were crowded around for.

I'm sorry if I've just gone a bit into my own head here but you do have to admit here that this whole scenario is funny|!

Arthur Christmas

I saw this teaser trailer for Arthur Christmas which will be coming to a festive cinema screens on November 23rd...this is another animated film with James McAvoy, lets hope that this will be a little bit better than 'Gnomeo and Juliet', which I can probably guess he only did as the team behind Elton John and David Furnish's retelling of the classic Shakespeare tale of the two star crossed lovers...but done in a political correctness gone mad with making this tale a PG and using animated gnomes to make it less upsetting...was only because they threw a big wadge of money at him.

So fingers crossed that this other family fun animated film will do a little bit better. I mean it has to do a better as Hugh Laurie will also feature in this film that was produced by Aardman Entertainmet in partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment, and co-directed by Sara Smith and Barry Smith...this script has also been written by Sara Smith and Peter Baynham who was behind Borat:Cultural Learnings of America for Making Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakstan, therefore there is bound to be some comedy in this even if I didn't find it funny!

The story is that Jim Broadbent (Santa Clause) is aging and has now become out of touch with the fast pace of today's generation so his son Steve (Hugh Laurie) takes over the family business and runs it very efficiently with an army of elves, a spaceship that has a cloaking device and other devices that have replaced Santa's traditional sleigh. Therefore this has left Santa effectivley become a figurehead. Steve though, after a successful Christmas eve, he doesn't get to become Santa and is therefore crushed when his father decides to hang on to the title a little longer.

This is were James McAvoy's character comes in as he plays Arthur the younger brother of Steve who is very clumsy and good natured, and no one takes him seriously and just dismisses him. But he doesn't care about this as he is fully devoted to the idea of Christmas and to the shitty job that he has been given as to be Santa Claus's mailman.

However after the good Christmas eve work of Steve, and as he is congratulating himself at the annual Christmasy dinner with Steve, GranSanta (Bill Nighy), Mrs. Santa (Imelda Staunton)...GrandSanta also believes that things in his day were better, but here is where Arthur finds out that one child was missed. SHOCK HORROR!

Steve wants to deliver this present after Christmas...but here is where GrandSanta prepopses to Arthur to go on sleigh and with the retired reindeer to take this present to the girl as Arthur is distraught that this has happened, here is where the adventure begins and their journey is helped along by an elf who is voiced by Ashley Jenson who is one of the Giftwrap Batallion called Bryony.

So although this looks like there are a few comedy quips here and there in this film....the animation looks really good to me. But then again this film's audience really isn't focusing on 20/21yr olds like myself being in the audience....but then again the only animated film I am looking forward to is Puss In Boots getting his own film.

Think I'm on my own here...by the way if you want to see this then you can look at this below

Avengers teaser trailer!

I saw this yesterday and I know I didn't put this up then but to be honest I forgot to put this up and share this with all of you but here it is now so you can peruse this at your leisure:

This to me looks really good and it is a really nice suprise to hear a Chris Cornell  record on this trailer as I loved the song he did on his own without AudioSlave for the last James Bond: Quantum of Solace film but saying this I do have to say although I don't really like AudioSlave music there is one that I really love and thinking it about now I have the intro to the track in my head but it's really annoying me how I can't think for the life of me what this track is called...oh well I'll just have to trawl YouTube for this.

Thanks to Youtube I've found this and in case your wondering the record is called 'Cochise'. There does have to be a big thank you to Kerrang TV here as if it weren't for  this music channel then I wouldn't ever come into contact with this band or their music, but I think that I may have gone off topic here....so

The Avengers will be out in April 2012 and I have just found the official website where the official trailer is so knowing me I will be rushing over to this website and watching this and hopefully adding this to this post tomorrow...or you can go see this for yourself:

http://uk.marvel.com/avengers/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=avengers%2Bofficial%2Bsite%2Bsitelink&utm_campaign=The%2BAvengers%2BUK&gclid=CMrnzufm8qsCFUNkfAode2OH5w

Hope you enjoy!

Fast and Furious 5 songs

I know that there is probably a lot of you out there that have been hearing this first song by Don Omar (ft. Lucenzo) - Danza Kuduro but I just heard this on Radio 1 and it reminded me of Fast 5 and then that reminded of the other song at the end of the movie that I really liked as well but this song really sounds holidyie, but I love the other song by Don Omar ft Busta Rhymes, this song reminds me of how I used to when I was little and how I used to go to arcades and play on the car simulators.

Top Gun is defo on!

Last I heard that the film boffins over in Hollywood wanted to do Top Gun with hopefully getting Val Kilmer and Tom Cruise back to take up their respective mantles of Maverick and Ice Man, there was no noises last I heard from Cruise's camp but when Kilmer was interviewed at this years Comic Con about his new film Twixt he was making some interesting noises saying that he would be up for it if he was asked.

But...now the noises that I've heard now from Empire Magazine and Variety that the writers of X Men: First Class have been asked by Paramount to write this. So I'm thinking if the ideas that Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz had for the amazing X men film is anything to go by then the script for this film will be hopefully fingers crossed AMAZING! Well it certainly put Michael Fassbender on people's radar...i.e more audiences noticed him and this no doubt got people to go see Jane Eyre which was a hit in my book.

However there is no other news on what Tony Scott's involvement on this will be but there has been news that Christopher McQuarrie has already bounced around some ideas for this script for Paramount, so whatever this new script's story line will be there is a definite springboard for Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz to work off.

All that has been said about Tony Scott's involvement on this is that back on 26th October on HitFix announced while they (Hitfix) were interviewing him as he was promoting his other film 'UnStoppable' that he confirmed that he was going to be on this project that has the working title of 'Top Gun 2', and he had the idea to take the film in the direction of how airborne technology has moved on since the last film.

But I don't think Top Gun would be Top Gun without the pilots, Maverick, Ice Man or Goose or even if there was no doughnuts in the sky.

So we will have to watch this space to see where this goes from here, if Paramount puts it into production after a script ever materialises or not.

This Means War!

Tom Hardy, Chris Pine and Reese Witherspoon....all in a film to do with the CIA and James Bond gadgets.

The trailer for this is below so you can peruse this at your pleasure, I think from this trailer that...well this could be just me but to me Tom Hardy is more convincing as a CIA agent than Chris Pine. I would say that Tom Hardy could possibly look comfortable as the next James Bond when or if Daniel Craig wants to give up the Bond title.

I think that to me it feels like to me that the casting for this film is very bizarre...I mean casting Reese Witherspoon as the girl these two fall for, as I think that the studio must have had to pay both Tom Hardy and Reese Witherspoon a lot of money in order to be in this movie as both have been in films that either got them Oscars or could have got them awards, I'm thinking here that Tom Hardy was in the incredible Inception which if I'm honest I've seen this thought I got what the story of the film was on about but then after the film I was left going over this in my head for an uncomfortable number of nights thinking what the fuck was Christopher Nolan on about.

And Reese Witherspoon was in 'Walk The Line' where she got a Best Supporting Actress Oscar but the other films she has been in like 'Sweet Home Alabama' and 'Legally Blonde' etc shows that the casting/ director wanted someone who was good but also could take it not so seriously...as this movie so Empire Magazine say is more about the 'bromance' between Tom Hardy and Chris Pine (I also think that he was probably just pleased to be in a movie with actors and actresses that were as good as these two that he is starring alongside...this may sound a bit cruel but if you've seen 'Star Trek' then you know what I'm saying, but I just thought that he was in that film about a runaway freight train with Denzel Washington but it all is good to put on your CV I guess).

Anyhew here's the story line for this.... Tom Hardy and Chris Pine are the CIA's finest operatives and love nothing more than when they are working together to take down the bad guys or a bad nation but this all gets shattered when they find out they are both dating the same girl Reese Witherspoon, and as you can imagine both boys use all the high priced high voltage toys of the trade that we ordinary folk should use as they will kill you!...these are used by both boys so as to ruin the other's chances with the girl.

Sounds stupid I know as I have in my time watched all manner of stupid films and I bet I can see where this film will be going right away but I wont spoil this for anyone out there that wants to see Tom Hardy looking good in a James Bond style suit.

This film will be hitting the screens of  cinemas on February 17th next year and you may or may not be surprised to know that this has come from the director of Charlie's Angels...so expect at least something to blow up as I think that the first Charlie's Angels film was much better than the second one but then again that could be just me!

There coming back!

Yesterday thanks to I Am Rogue the first official pictures of all the cast of American Pie Reunion have been put up:

And there is a red band trailer that I have just seen and it looks like all the comedy moments are there that were in the first American Pie film so I'm going to say that the film no doubtedly is going to be hilarious!

Chris and Paul Weitz are set to produce this long awaited comedy that has been sorely missed from all cinema screens...ok this might just be me but the first American Pie was unforgettably funny and how can anyone forget Stiffler, Stiffler's mother and Finch's sick affair.

Adam Hertz will also produce this for Universal as well as Harold & Kumar's Jon Hurwitz and Jason Schlossberg who will direct this.

Yes! I am really a little bit over excited but I have managed to get the red band trailer for all to see...so you have to see this to believe how awesome it will be to see this come back to a cinema near you.

I hope you enjoy this as much as I did the first time I saw this!

Thank God for Jools Holland

On last weeks Later...Live with Jools Holland, (which I have to say, I watch on Tuesdays and Friday's religiously because lets face it it is the best thing that's on TV these days and if I'm honest I love it as I love to be surprised by all the known artists, unknown and artists that are still going on Jools Holland's show), and there was this fantastic band The Civil Wars Barton Hollow and I absoutly loved this and coincidentally a snippet of this song was played on the opening episode of The Vampire Diaries...and I must admit when this snippet was over I really wanted to hear this song in full, and Barton Hollow is my favourite new song of the month and luckily thanks to Amazon.com I've found the album Barton Hollow.

And if I'm honest I don't usually like country songs but I absolutly loved this the moment I heard this on Later Live. And I have to say that you seriously have to get this album because if this song is anything to go by then I'm guessing the rest of the album is going to be incredible!

Also on the same episode of the same show that I watched mainly because Kasabian were on and I had to watch them as by this point I had the new Kasabian album and I loved all the songs and just had to watch them, and because I really wanted to hear my favourite song on the album 'Goodbye Kiss'. There was a new band from New Zealand, and I was pleasantly surprised this band had the vocalist from Crowded House on the drums.

Anyhew...this as it turned out was his new band that he had formed with his wife and their new track 'Tell Me What You Want' I loved and I think it is well worth a little listen as is the other track, this track I think sounds a little bit like The Kills 'Cheap and Cheerful', which is the track that is used in the new Fendi fragrance advert.

This also sounds a bit sexy to me...but I don't want to sound a bit pompous but this is my opinion of the guitar bit in this song. I just thought if your not as big a Kills fan and can't think of this song immediatly then here it is below:

All I can say is thank goodness for Jools Holland and this show.

O-h, O girl in trouble!

Guess who's in trouble this week....Beyonce. Not only has she come out and said in her latest interview with Harper's Bazzar that she is expected to give birth to her first child in February 2012, but according to RollingStone Magazine she has stolen some dance moves and visual concepts for Countdown her next single off the album 4 that she is intending to release.

RollingStone reports that Belgium choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker has told Studio Brussels that:

"I'm not mad, but this is plagiarism..."

she goes on to say in this interview that:

"What's rude about it is that they don't even bother about hiding it"

In a statement given out by Beyonce's people she has said that:

"Clearly, the ballet 'Rosas danst Rosas' was one of many references for my video 'Countdown'. It was one of the inspirations used to bring the feel and look of the song to life."

This statement went on to say that this was just one of the many other things that inspired her video, the other inspirations for her music video were Audrey Hepburn's Funny Face, Brigitte Bardot, Andy Warhol as well as Diana Ross.

Beyonce's statement added that:

"I've always been fascinated by the way contemporary art uses different elements and references to produce something unique".

But De Keersmaeker has said that she feels that Beyonce's version of her choreography has been watered down:

"In the 1980's , this was seen as a statement of girl power, based on assuming a feminine stance on sexual expression...I was often asked then if it was feminist. Not that I see Beyonce dancing it, I find it pleasant, but I don't see any edge to it. It's seductive in an entertaining , consumerist way"

But my take on this is that Beyonce has come out with her hands up and has said that she has used her choreography in her new music video but she has used it to create a look and feel to her video which as she has used other inspirations such as Andy Warhol, Audrey Hepburn's 'Funny Face' and other 1960's references I guess that is the look she wanted, but it also sounds like she has put her own twist on this so technically this isn't really plagiarism...I just thought that Beyonce came out on her 'Single Ladies' video and said she used the dance moves from a 1980's video but no one called that plagiarism.

And with the watered down comment that the Belgium choreographer has made it does sound like Beyonce has tried not to copy this but it does sound very bitchy...as I bet this is really good and if you ask me if she has copied it then it should be taken as a compliment because Beyonce one of most successful women in the music industry has copied it!

The Raven Trailer is here!

Thank god for Itunes showing trailers and now the hotly anticipated...well hotly anticipated film from me, but now I think that I'll be biting my fingers with anticipation to know when this film is going to come out as this film has been directed by none other than James McTeigh (the amazing mind behind V for Vendetta which is definitely one of the films in a very long list of my favourite films.)

This film if your unfamiliar with the story shows John Cusack as the writer Edger Allen Poe whose books have a definite horror crime feel to them, anyway....Poe is called in by detective Emmett Fields who will be played by Luke Evans. Emmett is investigating a series of gruesome and grisly murders that seem to be inspired by Poe's books, therefore Fields draws the conclusion that the murderer is taunting Poe and wants to draw him in in a battle of wits that not only threaten the lives of all that are around but the life of Edger's beloved Emily who will be played by Alice Eve.

If you want to have a little gander at this trailer as no doubtedly you will then here it is below:

If you ask me the way that Empire and other websites describe the story line to this film it definitely gives off the sense that all that were involved in this project wanted to give this period project a definite Sherlock Holms and Professor Muriarty cat and mouse battle between Edger Allen Poe, Detective Emmett Fields and the murderer...but only the old school cat and mouse game that was played out in the TV series of Sherlock Holms with Jeremy Brett as Sherlock.

Brendan Gleeson whose been in movies such as Harry Potter as MadEye Moody, In Bruges with Colin Farrel as the older at the end of his hitman career who at the end after not being able to kill Colin Farrel throws himself off a church tower, will also be in this movie.

Oliver Jackson- Cohan who was in Going the Distance (and in case you didn't see this, this was the film that starred Drew Barrymore and her 'man child' boyfriend at the time Justin Long), will also be in this film.

Kevin McNally will also be in this picture. In case the name doesn't immediatly pop up for you, he as I have seen on the web either the guy from Pirates of The Caribean who we the audience saw in the first film having to be woken up from falling asleep with pigs on the island of Tortuga, or it is the guy who played Geoffrey in Coupling.

Thankfully we'll be able to see this flutter.... I'm sorry about the pun but I just couldn't resist into our cinemas on March 9th 2012.

So...we'll just have to wait until this date then to see how this Sherlockean battle plays out.

Depp News!

In case you've not heard...Johnny Depp along with Universal Pictures and the production company behind Despicable Me Illumination Entertainment, as well as Infintium Nihil (Johnny Depp's film company that he has done with Disney), are in the process of making the life of Dr.Suess into a live action film.

This will be produced by Infintium Nihil, and will maybe give the opportunity for Johnny Depp to star as Dr.Seuss.

Keith Bunin will write the screenplay for this. The Lorax, another of the infamous illustrator books has already been developed into a animated kids film with the likes of Zac Efron, Taylor Swift, Betty White, Ed Helms and Willow Smith adding their voices to this movie adaption that is all set for release in March 2012.

In case your like me and only a few names from the above list instantly pop out at you like Zac Efron, Taylor Swift and Willow Smith, well I'll help fill in the blanks for you on the other names:

  • Ed Helms is now I've checked up who he is courtesy of Google...he is the dentist from The Hangover who in the first Hangover pulled out his own tooth in a drunken dare. I think for me that was the only funny thing in the first Hangover as I didn't see the first at the cinema but got it on DVD and watched this with my sisters...lets just say this was a very big mistake as I didn't even laugh at one point apart from when Zack Galifanakos (I think that's how you spell his name) screamed like a girl at the tiger in the bathroom.
  • Betty White has been in if I can remember correctly she was in one of the California adverts that was done in the happy times of Arnold Schwarzernegger, before his governor term was over and definitly before his wife found out about the many, many, many, many affairs he had and the many other illegitimate children he has running round the world. I just thought that you know how Dave Law (oh sorry Jude) has the running joke of  being a tart with a heart, well I just thought that now I guess Arnie  is the international Austrian tart with the heart now. lol!
Anyhew...there isn't a release date for this but there is other news from the Depp camp. This being that Johnny's production company will produce The Thin Man which is now a priority project for Warner Bros. Studios. Johnny Depp is also set to star in this according to The Hollywood Reporter. And The Reporter also says that the former executive at Warner Bros. Kevin McCormick will also be producing this picture from his studio based Langley-Park.

But Rob Marshall has also been reported by The Hollywood Reporter as directing this film, but I guess with how indecisive Warner Bros. have been over who will write this I think this is why The Thin Man has become a priority project for them. Originally they had Jerry Stahl to write this adaption of a Dashielle Hammett novel, but then they got David Koepp to write but he left after his vision for what the story should be went against the vision of Rob Marshall's.

If your like me and don't really know what the story is that their adapting then here it is:

Nick Charles a former private detective now turned drunked and socialite wife Nora along with their schnauzer dog Asta investigate a murder of an eccentric inventor and his bizarre family, this was first adapted in 1934 and went on to have five more films and a TV series.

And in case you haven't realised yet Rob Marshall has been rumoured on this very long list of roumoured to be involved in this production.

These under the radar projects have come coutesy of The Hollywood Reporter, Empire Magazine and Access Hollywood.

Coen Brothers to have TV series

Yes you read it right...the Coen brothers have been lured by Brian Grazer from Imagine Entertainment and Imagine TV will also be the executive producer of this TV series called HarveKarbo.

Harve,-in which the series is about-, is a bad tempered LA private detective whose cases involve the elite of Hollywood's scandal, but behind closed doors his private life is quite different as when he's not working he hangs out with deadbeats like himself in the city of El Segundo district.

Deadline Hollywood has said that the Coen brothers have co-created this hour long comedy for 20th Century Fox and that they have created this with the help of Phil Johnston. Both the Coen brothers, Brian Grazer and Francie Calfo will be the executive producers of this for Imagine TV and 20th Century Fox TV.

This doesn't have a release date yet but the Coen brothers do have the upcoming Gambit to worry about first,-this was directed by Michael Hoffman-.

So we'd better watch this space for more upcoming news that will no doubt have more news to follow in the next couple of days.

You thought it could never happen ...well it has!

Yesterday thanks partly to Empire Magazine and to Deadline Hollywood there will be a Bridget Jones 3 no thanks to Universal Pictures and Working Title Films.

Universal Pictures and Working Title Films have at the moment got a headache that they need to sort out as Paul Feig who they had got to write the script for this as well as direct it has just pulled out eventhough he has already written the latest draft of the script for this 3rd outing of Bridget Jones.

Deadline reports that '...both sides agreed it didn't work out...' this I think is just a different way of saying the tale as old as time phrase that we love to hate 'both sides parted amicably'. They have also reported that the reason for Paul Feig leaving this film was:

'...it didn't work out and that maybe this is just a quintessential British comedy and that needs a British sensibility...'

This though is only Deadline's opinion but it could be a real reason. But also Colin Firth, Renee Zellweger and Hugh Grant are said to be eager to return, but maybe this will be yet another film that Hugh Grant can put on his very empty roster at the moment.

But the real reason why Paul Feig has declined to do this upcoming project is because at the moment he's busy with Universal Studios working with Judd Apatow on a comedy that doesn't have a name as yet but it involves most of the cast from Bridesmaids coming back together as this will be about a man John Hamm who becomes obsessed with a women Melissa McCarthy, in case your not familiar with Melissa McCarthy then you'll probably recognise her from Gilmore Girls as Sookie.

But the studios have been trying to work out how to make a follow up, but John Hamm has been quoted as saying:

'...Kristen Wiig, who starred in and co-wrote the original, wasn't likely to come back...' and

I realise that I maybe have gone off on one about Bridesmaids and I may have done this a bit like Deadline have set their post but I'm sorry if this may be the case but...I just thought that the story line for this new Bridget Jones film has to be completly new in terms of not going the same way the other Bridget films have been going with their being lovey dovey songs in it from Jamie Cullum, Jameelia, Robbie Williams and stop using the old hat story of Bridget's a little over weight, she has two guys fighting over her and then at the end there is the obligatory fight between the boys...surely there isn't going to be a fight over her again or there could be a joke where both Daniel Cleaver and Mark Darcy are old men and both in old person's home and then their struggling to fight and are out of breath and have to sit down before they fall down then one of them finally has to say:

'Oh fuck it! Let's just call it a draw...you've won...I can't do this anymore....you've won her'

But if there was a fight at the end of this movie then it would be 'Oh god not this again'.

But there have been early drafts of this saying that Bridget doesn't marry Mark Darcy but instead goes for Daniel Cleaver and has her trying for a baby but Darcy is still in the background.

Well there's continuity for you!

Mr Ed...he's coming to cinemas!

If your like me and you have seen The Harry Enfield show you'll probably get easily confused by the joke of 'He's dead of course'

Well...it's not quite like that Fox 2000 have got the feature film rights to this CBS TV show that first aired in 1961 and came off screens in 1966.

Thanks to Variety online has reported that David Friendly and Jim Mahoney,- the team principal if you like of Friendly Films-, are now on the lookout for a writer for this live action film that will be coming to our cinema screens. This dynamic duo will produce this feature film, and apart from this going to be a live action feature it will star a real horse of course...sorry for the pun, with a CGI mouth for all the talking.

This must have been a very tricky rights deal to get as according to Variety these had to be aquired from two different estates.

But its understandable why Fox 2000 wants to make this film as there has been a steady wave of horse related films coming out at the moment such as the hotly anticipated Johnny Depp 'Lone Ranger being planned but as we all know at the moment that this has gone from pre-production then it got shutdown halfway into this pre-production because of budget problems, then it got the go ahead again but a lot of things will have to be gotten rid of. And if your like me and absolutely love all things Johnny Depp then you'll want to know that he has done an interview with Vanity Fair and this is in the November issue that is out now, so go buy this!

Then there is the new Steven Spielberg film 'War Horse' and for all those who are itching to go see this film version will be interested to know there is a new theatrical trailer for this going around:

This will be out in UK cinemas on January 13th 2012 and for those of you in the US this will be showing up in your cinemas on christmas day.

Oh God No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I heard from Empire Magazine online that The Human Centipede 2 has finally got a certificate for it to be newly rated an 18 certificate.

Ian Sadler Eureka's sales director has been reported as saying that they:

'...are really pleased that after nearly 4 months of detailed discussions and debate, we have been able to reach  an agreement with the BBFC and to produce a very viable cut of the film which will both excite and challenge its fans...'

This new decision should hopefully please Tom Six (the director) as his initial response to the BBFC not giving him the certificate for this (in my opinion is a grotesque movie, but I guess if you like that sort of stuff in your horror films then this is going to excite you, but I saw this trailer and I have to say that now I thin about it could be interpreted as how people get obsessed by the ideas behind films or books, i.e sometimes you leave the cinema thinking to yourself 'I wonder what it would be like if that was real', and the protagonist gets obsessed with the idea of what would if you could make an human centipede in real life instead of a film, and although this is an absolutly horrific idea this I guess is the whole premis of the film).

Anyhew... Tom Six's initial reaction to not getting a certificate for his gory film was:

'...Thank you BBFC for putting spoilers of my movie on your website and thank you for banning my film in this exceptional way. Apparently I made an horrific horror film, but shouldn't a good horror film be horrific? My dear people it is a fucking MOVIE. It is all fiction. Not real. It is all make-belief. It is art. Give people their own choice to watch it or not. If people can't handle or like my movies they just don't watch them. If they like my movies they have to be able to see it any time, anywhere and in the UK...'

Thankfully for those like me that like their horror to be a lot less SAW/ Human Centipede and a little more watchable horror so you don't at least feel like your in need of throwing up then you'll probably welcome the news that so as to reach a much greater horror liking audience there have been 32 cuts done to this movie in order to get it to an 18 certificate, which amounts to at least 2 minuites and 37 seconds of movie that has been cut...but if you ask me if this is all that has had to be cut from the movie to dampen down the blood and gore then I think by the sounds of it the filmmakers haven't lost anything as it sounds like there is still a variable amount of blood, guts, gore and horror in it for the filmmakers to feel a bit happier with the BBFC for letting them keep a little bit of the high degree of horror in it.

I'm also guessing that with these cuts the trailer that is doing the rounds on the good old internet at the moment will need to show these cuts as well as possibly the poster or maybe not as the poster I think is really quite good and you have to take a closer look at it and you can't just take a glance at it as it sums up the film but if you ask me the title for the film Human Centipede 2 pretty much sums it up and really doesn't give off any ambiguity like many other films that are out there at the moment.

As you can imagine there is no releases date as of yet...things I guess don't work that quickly!

So watch this space for when it does come out!

Resident Evil:Retribution

Yesterday when I was perusing the web I stumbled across this exciting bit of news thanks to Collider.com which were lucky enough to interview the director of this new installment in the Resident Evil series of films,-Paul W.S Anderson-, when he rocked into London town to do his share of the mandatory press interviews for his other film The Three Musketeers in 3D.

Anderson told those lucky devils over at Collider.com that he lent heavily on the Resident Evil video games for inspiration on this film, and that after having several critics saying that these films had become 'too action heavy while sidelining the horror', but Anderson understandably explained that:

'One of the strengths of the Resident Evil game franchise is that they keep changing it up. Some people complain about that, and it's a complaint I hear about the movies as well ' Resident Evil is horror, why do you keep doing action?' Well, that's one of the things the game has done as well, they've always kept an element of horror but they've become increasingly action driven games with these phenomenal action sequences. That's something I think that has kept the game alive, and it's also one of the reasons why I think why the movies have kind of broadened out in terms of audience as well. If you make just hardcore horror, there's a limited audience for that. Whereas if it's horror mixed with action, I think you kinda broaden your potential fanbase'

So if your one of these critics then I think you can put this in your pipe and smoke this! And I hope this answers your criticism.

It's understandable this is as if you think about this because if you went to a movie that just had in it big explosions, car chases, gun fights, but not much of anything else in the form of horror or suspense or anything to make you jump out of your seat when your watching this at the cinema or wherever you watch this, then if you weren't a hardcore action lover then you would leave the cinema really disappointed and feeling like 'Why on earth did I go see that?' or you'd think 'Well that didn't give me any thrills like it was built up to be, so why on earth did it get made?'

It would be utterly shit, and then their would be critics coming out of their darkened holes rearing their ugly heads saying that the director has probably had a hit with another action movie of theirs and on this movie hasn't bothered to think about other people in the audience who like some action in movies but also want a bit of a build up to this action or want their to be some twists and turns in the story line to the action.

And if I think about it in the second Resident Evil the best bit in it was when Milla Jocovich crashed through on her motorbike in the church and used two shotguns to shoot at two umbrella corporation made weird looking dog figures that were killing the police as well as that journalist who was going to make that documentary about what was really going on in Racoon City, and then to help out the lone police member who was panicking about the dog things they both pull down a huge wooden cross with chains onto the thing.

So I think that and the other parts that the director has added to this set of films is what great and what really makes them such a great set of films to watch.

Paul W.S Anderson has also worked very closely with Capcom and Milla Jovovich, (who thankfully will be coming back to reprise her role of Alice), to according to Collide.com '...ensure a line of continuity between the movies and the game franchises...'

This dynamic duo also listen very carefully to the fans of the games and decided to introduce three new characters that were firm favourites of the games, these are:

  • Leon Kennedy
  • Ada Wong
  • Barry Burton

When they were casting for these new characters they tried to get the best people who looked like the characters in the games. This for me is continuity gone mad if you ask me, as there are many things that the computer game creators can use in terms of different computer software and different computer programs to make game characters look facially and physically different to how many actors and actress look in the real world...but I guess if there is already critics out there moaning about a little thing like the mix of action and horror in the film, then I guess you have to cover all your bases as there might be even more critics (the hardcore computer nutters...sorry if I have offended them but World Of Warcraft isn't actually real!)

They'll be filming this new film in three locations this time: Tokyo, Moscow, and North America. Even after he'd signed on to this contract he flew over to Osaka,-where Capcom are based-, and spent some time explaining to them what his ideas were for this film and he also met with the game creators to say these ideas such as one action sequence in the film has actually been taken straight from the game and has been transported into the film, but instead of using a Hummer and are going to use instead a Rolls Royce Phantom.

I don't know how far this goes in the way of a spoiler but the zombies in this film are going to have a change to them, this being with them bringing in the Las Plagas virus this will allow the zombies to run around, ride motorbikes and shoot machine guns. If you ask me zombies should be kept the way they are already, i.e slow and bumbling the slowness I think gives them their creepy demeanor.

Amy Childs to get her own tv show

Thanks to The Metro Newspaper I have found out that Amy Childs has been given by Channel 5 a new reality TV show.

Jeff Ford, Channel 5's director of programmes  has been reported as saying that Channel 5 are '...really delighted to be following Amy as she embarks on the next stage of her life...'

He has also said that 'She is one of the most talked about people in Britain and we're sure our viewers will take the bubbly bombshell to their hearts'.

And I just thought that with their show 'The Bachelor' already on Channel 5 screens and being an avid watcher of this because its just such a funny show but everyone involved from Gavin Hensson to the girls who I don't know why but they put themselves through this experience and take it really seriously like they all get really catty and jelous when one of the other girls gets to go on a 'one to one with Gavin'...but you just have to see this show to believe how comical it is as at the end of each episode there is a 'rose ceremony' and then there's a cocktail party before this ceremony of sorts.

It's sooo weird this cocktail party as each girl has a really varied and bizarre thought of what a cocktail party is as some of these girls decide to wear for this party really nice dresses you would wear to go on a night out with your friends, some like this girl called Kesha wore at the last party a sleevless long blue dress that wouldn't look out of place if she went to a ball.

But there is an upside to all this stupidity as they did start this show off at a wonderful mansion in St.Tropez which is amazing if you can get it then they went on to Venice again not too chabby!

Gavin Hensson is frighting though with the things he gets the girls to do and each week the next thing he gets the girls to do in tasks is even more bizarre than the last, and he says things that you know aren't believable, i.e 'I don't want to send anyone home as I feel something for all of them, and they all have qualities that I'd want in a girlfriend but I've got to pick one'

I've just thought that I might have gone on a bit about 'The Bachelor' show but my point is that this is I am sure has a big following as its great to see what happens next, and who gets a rose and who doesn't as well as seeing if your favourite in the show gets a rose or has to go home.

Anyhew in case you haven't worked out yet what this show will be about, the Metro says that this show will follow her career as a beautician and her preparations to open a new salon.

Kasabian album review

A couple of months ago I had the good fortune thanks to Facvoiceebook to hear a snippet of Kasabian's first single off their new album 'Velocerraptor',- this being 'Switchblade Smiles'-, and I have to say that I loved this song straight away, especially the sound of the guitars on the track and the almost sounding like a fist coming at your face line in the song:

'Move, Can Feel It Coming'

This whole album is just amazing and if you haven't got it yet then why not as I heard this snippet and literally put the date for when the album was released officially in my diary and was just counting down the days for when this came out that is how much of a Kasabian fan I am...oh and I do have to admit that I love Sergio Pizzarno's voice, the awesome sound that he gets out of his guitar on all of the tracks and most of all all of the tracks that he writes for the band and so that I don't offend any other Kasabian fans...I do have to also say that I also love Tom Meighan's (that's the lead singer if your not a absolutly fan like me) voice, and if you ask me these two as well as the drummer and the bassist then this band I don't think would be in the music industry or would be counted as one of the most amazing bands today.

You might have heard the second track on the album 'Days are Forgotten' on the TV as this is actually used in the advert for the album and this is just incredible and I just thought that the first track 'Let's Just Roll Like We Used To' always make me think when I listen to it of how if they were shooting the music video for it then they could do it like how a graphic novel (cartoon strip) is laid out, and make the band into cartoons.

And whenever I've listened to this album just to get myself out of bed in a morning, and to brace myself for the day I have the whole album in my head for the rest of the day...which is no bad thing when you know how amazing this is and how you will get like me completly obsessed with all the songs on the album and I do have to say that when I heard that their album had been knocked off the No.1 mark by One Direction my heart did sink because if I'm honest then I have to say that One Directions song although I do find myself tapping my feet along to their song but there are sooo many thinks to critcise about it, one thing being that the song sounds like 'Summer Lovin' ' from Grease, and I hadn't noticed it before but in the music video for this when it says in the chorus of the song:

'When You Flip Your Hair It Gets Me Overwhelmed'

Louis flips his fringe...this is very laughable and if you ask me it looks a bit Pans People (if your not a nutter of Top Of The Pops 2 then this is a dancing group from the 70's that would come on when their was a dance track on and they would literally have a huge set for them and then they'd come in all dressed up in costumes to do with the song and dance to the song in ways that related to the lyrics).

Anyhew....back to the matter at hand, my favourite track off the album...well one of them has to be 'Goodbye Kiss' and 'Verlocceraptor' as well as 'La Fee Verte' oh I just thought that it would probably take me too long to list all my favorites and it would be a waste of time as I love the whole thing. And in case your wondering all the songs sound sooo different to the last one you were just listening to but it still maintains those big banging guitar sounds and the thumping beats that the last song you were listening to has...I do have to say that this is what Mads Langer and Kasabian have in common as on both of these albums have songs that make you want to hear each and every song as you want to know what the next one sounds like.

This might sound stupid but I can only describe this as putting you under a kind of spell where you not only have to but you want to listen to each and ever song because not every song sounds generic, i.e from the first song there's a big voiced lead singer, big guitar beats and the song is really catchy and the other songs are a little bit different but the same so when you hear it on the radio you know that this song belongs to this band but although if you heard one of these songs on the radio you could say this is a Kasabian record but you sit there thinking 'WOW! This sounds nothing like the songs from their previous albums!

This in my opinion shows the mark of an amazing album and like all their previous albums you have to get this as if you blink and miss the album and don't have it in your record collection you'll end up regretting this.

So go get this already!

P.S you can get this from amazon, itunes, hmv or yor local supermarket in the entertainment section.

We've had Bad Santa...now we have Sadistic St.Nic

I read this the other day on I Am Rogue's website and if your like me and reading this thinking 'WTF is going on?' your right at the same conclusion I came to when I saw this trailer. I also think that from the looks of this there is definitly an argument for this to go straight to DVD.

Saint shows another side to the tale of good ol' saint Nic.

This tale being that Saint Niklas was a fallen bishop that traveled around in the middle ages with a gang of thieves and robbers, they went around pillaging, raping, plundering and killing. Then when the villagers decide to take the law into their own hands by blowing up the ship in which the bishop and this gang of thieves and robbers travel on. Thus as you can imagine the bishop vows revenge.

Therefore...cue the duh duh duh's every year there's a full moon on Daecember 5th (when they died) the bishop and his gang of robbers and thieves rise from their graves and take revenge in the most horrific ways.

There's no official date for this to be released but it is set to be released in December this year so if you thought that you could have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year then you were dead wrong. But I do have to say that now I think about this it does make me think that this film has been done as a horror just to offer something different round christmas because if your like me as soon as Christmas comes round then all the enevitable Christmas films come out like these ones:

  • Charles Dickins's: A Christmas Carol
  • Fred Claus
  • Santa Claus
  • Four Christmases
  • Home Alone
  • Polar Express
  • The Muppets: Christmas Carol
I mean in the past some Christmas films that come out and the stereotypical Christmas things come out like it's all white with snow, there's Christmas trees aplenty, the family are all couped up having a big Christmas dinner and the film is all about family and child friendly and it is like the filmmakers can't be bothered to make a good film for Christmas and only care about giving out a family fun film and will just make it completley shit.

I realise now that I may have just rambled but I have I think this is true...anyhow this is the trailer for this:

Hubb Staple, Egbert Jan Weeber, Caro Lenssen, Christopher Parren, and Bert Luppes will star in this film and the director is Dick Maas.

Hold the bus!...I Am Rogue has news on Bond 23

This news is the most exciting piece of news I have heard today...and thank goodness I heard this today as everything on the Bond front had gone very quiet, and I was thinking that MGM was still having financial problems...but not so apparently.

I Am Rogue thankfully has the exciting news that Bond 23 will start filming this November and that Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson (the producers) will film a 10-15 minuite segment of the film in Istanbul, Turkey.

Broccoli and Wilson have already chosen the location of Sultanahmet Square,-Turkey's historical city-, as one of the several other Turkish locations to use in order to film this segment of the film. Other locations that the producers have in mind to use for this particular segment of Bond 23 are as Turkey's Minister of Culture and Tourism has been reported as saying:

'....there are, however, a number of locations, including the waterside and shores of the Bosporus, in consideration for the 10-15 minutes of the movie that is to be filmed in Turkey'.

Also Javier Bardem and Ralph Fiennes who have been rumoured to appear in this film have now been confirmed to be in this new Bond...but unfortunatly there is no news as yet as to what character Ralph Fiennes will play in the film but true to form Javier Bardem will play a villain...and if his track record so far of playing baddies is anything to go by, (I'm thinking 'No Country For Old Men' then this villian will be one hell of villian as in this he got an oscar and terrified the hell out of everyone who saw that film as he really was a proper badass!)

Anyhew...Sam Medes who has already to his name 'Road To Perdition', 'Away We Go' and 'American Beauty' to name just a few of the other films on his CV is going to direct this new bond. The screen play has had contributions from Neal Purvis, Robert Wade and John Logan.

But the most important and the one everyone wants to know about apart from knowing who the new bond is, is who is the bond girl, at the moment this is rumoured to be the French television/film actress Berenice Marlohe.

If your like me and are unfamiliar to who this actress then don't worry, here is a picture of her:

If this does turn out to be true then she definitly looks the part of a bond girl or as I've just thought she could be a villain as I read on MI6 HQ a couple of months ago that there was a suggested whisper that the film would focus on the mysterious Quantum group and it was said that Rachel Weisz was to be head of the group but thanks to leaking this on Twitter she was either recast as something smaller or booted out sooo I was thinking that this actress could be a good replacement for her as a villain.

And I have heard on this site that Tom Ford has been working with Daniel Craig on designing a new look and feel suite to Bond and that Tom Ford has been working alongside the costume designer Louise Frogley when he started doing the Bond suites on Quantum of Solace but now Louise Frogley looks set to be replaced by the costume designer of the Harry Potter series Jani Temime.

Also if your wondering when we over here in the UK get to see this then you can see Bond 23 on 26th October 2012, but over the pond you'll have to wait till 9th November 2012.
