More news on Veronica Mars movie!

You may or may not already know that back on March 13th Kristen Bell and Rob Thomas reached a goal of $2million on Kickstarter to in essence to Kickstart up into production the idea of there being a Veronica Mars movie, and because of this fan led campaign for this to become a reality this is now actually happening it now according to TheWrap.com has a USA release date of the 14th March 2014.

Veronica Mars (2014) Poster

There's not that much known yet about the film other than Kristen Bell will back to play the lead role, Percy Daggs III who if played Veronica's best friend Wallace Fennel in the TV series, Jason Dohring who played Logan Echolls in the TV series who was her boyfriend, Francis Capri who played Weevel in the TV series who saved her from dying when her High School bus fell into the ocean off a cliff, Ryan Hansen who played Dick Casablancas in the TV series the older brother to Casey Casablancas who built a device to cause the bus to go into the ocean, Tina Majorino who played Mac in the TV series who was the tech person that helped Veronica in her investigations and Krysten Ritter who played Gia in the TV series but you may or may not have recently seen her in the E4 comedy "Don't Trust The Bitch In Apartment No. 23", will be back in this film.

You just have to see this....new trailer for Anchorman 2:The Legend Continues

You may or may not have already seen this but I just saw this awesome trailer for Anchorman 2:The Legend Continues...and the crew are suited and booted in new suits and are ready to go with Baxter of course.

But unfortunately I can't get this from Youtube so this will have to do I'm afraid:

http://www.anchormanmovie.co.uk/

This though I think does the same job as a video clip would, it still is filled with all the best lines and will have you quoting from it like the last film did.

And thankfully there are connections back to the old old wooden ship Anchorman:The Legend of Ron Burgundy with Brian Fantana's secret cabinet stash of hidden cologne such as Blackbeard's delight, sex pantha (this actually became a real thing and was being sold on Firebox.com) Brick can't do anything but the weather etc.

But I have to say that although Brick has a love interest in this film I was sad that we the audience don't get to see her until her big unveiling in the movie, and I just thought that this new girl played by Kristen Wiig might or could even be the women who he as said at the end of the last movie has 14 children with and becomes George Bush's speech writer. Also to coincide with the film being released on the new date of 18th December in the UK there will be a Scotch released:

RonBurgundy-Graphic

This will apparently be released through Drink Supermarket and has been bottled by Riviera Imports...Yes! another classy thing that will go perfectly with my copy of Ron Burgundy's Autobiography...this is a must buy if you haven't already got it.

I just thought that there might be a fight scene in this one like the other film as that was in my opinion was the best fight scene that really got out of hand fast.

So sit back, start the countdown clock and stay classy everyone...sorry about all the Anchorman puns but it is the most awesomist movie ever! and plus I just can't help myself!

Need For Speed vs. Fast and Furioous

I saw the first trailer for the new Need For Speed trailer the other day and Empire Magazine were saying something that really got me thinking according to them this new film "...promises to offer a more emotional element than even the Fast and Furious films contain..."

This in my opinion is a pretty big promise and I was just thinking that there would have to be a hell of a lot of emotionality in this film to give it something that the Fast and Furious series of films hasn't got.

Anyhew...as you probably can tell from the above writtings that I am a massive fan of the 'Fast and Furious' films and am probably a little biased in my opinion of this movie so far as Need For Speed is adapted from a racing car game and Fast and Furious isn't it was purely made on the basis of the director at the time Justin Lin reading an article in the paper about street racing, but I will give it this though, that some game adapted movies that I've seen like "The Punisher",-FYI Punisher fans like me will be excited to know that I read on Collider.com the other day that as a result of the rights for both The Punisher and Daredevil lapsing over at Lionsgate and Fox Marvel have now got them back and has plans in the pipeline to make movies of them but when is anyone's guess and these movies would have to be reboots, but I really liked the last Punisher film it definitely wasn't as bad as Daredevil and although Frank Castle did wear a floor length black leather jacket it suited and I think that it didn't take anything away from how the character was supposed to look action packed unlike in Daredevil- and "Hitman"  are red dewatch really good and well written so that the film is all action packed and make you want to buy it on DVD and make you want to watch it over and over again.

Also something that will have fans like me of the Fast and Furious films screaming with excitement as it did me the other day when I first read about this on Collider.com was the studio is hoping to film a Fat and Furious 8,9 and 10, there is a guaranteed 8th instalment of these films in the pipeline already...I don't know how much more crazy ass you can get with the car stunts and chases and where else you can locate this film but I'm guessing with Jason Statham in this next film there is a whole load of crazy involved if his previous films like The Transporter, The Mechanic and Parker are anything to go by, and there is a new director on this latest one as Justin Lin has walked away and James Lin is the new director.

But this does have from the looks of this new trailer like this film is a bit tamer than Fast and Furious in terms of car chases, unbelievable stunts (which both films have) and I definitely from seeing this trailer didn't think that this was more emotional in terms of storyline than Fast and Furious movies.

The plot sounds exactly like The Fast and Furious films though,-a tale about revenge that involves a team of precision drivers and a hell of a lot of crazy ass stunts and cars like Ford Mustangs, Ford Chargers, Aston Martin (this was the bad guys car in the last Fast and Furious) etc, but this time though there seems to be a Buggati thrown into the mix- as Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad plays a street racer Tobey Marshall who goes into business with rich arrogant car supplier Dino who is played by Dominic Cooper who you may or may not have seen from Mamma Mia, but then goes onto find himself framed by Dino for the murder of a friend during a race. He wants revenge, so once out of jail Tobey signs himself up to a cross country race hosted by none other than Michael Keaton for a chance to strike back at Dino, but then Dino finds out about his plan and puts a bounty on Marshall's head, which cues the crazy ass stunts while Marshall tries to fight illegal drivers off his tail...and of course there has to be a pretty girl to play the love interest Imogen Poots who plays an exotic car dealer.

Here is the trailer for you to take a gander at:

I do realise though that this does sound like I am just killing it's buzz though and that it won't be anything on Fast and Furious as I am a huge fan of the films but I'll still go see it when this comes out at cinemas in the UK on March 14th 2014 because of the cars especially the Buggatti...who doesn't want to see a Buggatti but I'll reserve judgement until then.

Oh My God! All Bond Fans Stop What you are doing now and read this...Ernst Stavro Blofeld and SPECTRE might be back for more!

ywayI just read this on Empire's website and thought to myself  "To The Batcave!",-I know this isn't technically a James Bond phrase but you get the jist- that I had to just put this up here.

Anyhew...this news as an avid fan of  all things James Bond just made me so excited, but I've just thought that this is just another link back to the original James Bond films, as you may or may not know but many of the more recent Bond films have had scenes or things in them that hark back to these original films as in Quantum Of Solace Agent Fields was killed by Dominic Green via being soaked in oil and then draped on Bond's hotel bed like in GoldFinger where the girl was draped on Sean Connery's hotel bed soaked in gold, also there were the little quips of "Slate was a dead end" and in Sam Mendes's "Skyfall" there was the quip "he really wanted to get home" along with the story of how James Bond lost his parents in a climbing accident and that he went to Oxford and studied languages...the list of links back to the original Bond films goes on and I do realise that I have maybe gone on a bit too much here but I'm trying to say that more and more directors have already put scenes in their Bond films to try and make their films feel more like a Bond film by putting things in their James Bond films that made the original film what we ( the James Bond fans) know and love.

Previously though according to Deadline Hollywood Blofeld and SPECTRE couldn't be reused as back in 1991 when McClory who worked with creator Ian Fleming and writer Jack Whittingham on a script for Thunderball and the outcome of this was that McClory got partial copywrite for this story, but there was more legal dramas to come between Kevin McClory, MGM  and it's producers even after Thunderball was released in 1965, and in 1983 McClory used his rights to bring back Sean Connery in Never Say Never Again. In 1997 these troubles were kicked up a notch by Sony buying McClory's rights for $2million dollars with the intent of making a Bond franchise all of their own, but thankfully MGM hit back at Sony with a lawsuit and in 1999 Sony gave up this franchise idea but Kevin McClory continued with his lawsuit, but then when McClory died in 2006 his estate continued to be a never ending villain in this cat and mouse game between MGM and Danjaq (the hero's).

Anyway...the result is that MGM/Danjaq/EON have now bought all the rights held by Kevin McClory and his estate meaning that Blofeld and SPECTRE could come back in some form like Moneypenny was brought back in "Skyfall" to be Eve Moneypenny who shot Bond.

Of course there is a rather large pinch of salt had to be taken with this but saying how there how there have already been links to past Bond films put into modern day Bond films this might just might happen...fingers crossed! Anyway we'll just have to see if this does become a reality as Bond 24 which will be directed by Sam Mendes and screenplay written by John Logan is currently pencilled in to get released October 23rd 2015...oh what I can't wait that long! and all set to get released in the USA on November 6th 2015

I...Frankenstein trailer

I saw this on Empire Online and just had to put this up. I, Frankenstein the sort of retelling of the famous and world renowned story,- everyone by now must know this story by now as there's been so many films / adaptions of the book into film that have been done including the film "Van Helsing" with Kate Beckinsale and Hugh Jackman in that had Frankenstein helping them to take down Dracula-, and now that I think about it there is a bit of a connection here with Kate Beckinsale and Bill Nighy...

I say this because Kevin Grevioux who co-created Underworld who has written this along with the director Stuart Beattie have rewritten the tale as old as time story of Frankenstein's monster,-

which for people like me who are a little bit foggy on the details of the story in a nutshell-, of scientist doctor Victor Frankenstein who managed to while at university via harnessing the power of lightening he developes a secret technique to reanimate dead tissue thus creating a botched up from other people's dead bodies person but seeing how hideous it is he (Frankenstein) flees after recovering from a mental breakdown, he goes home to the news of his brother being killed and that the nanny has been hanged for it but he then sees the creature at the crime scene so assumes he's done it but doubts anyone will believe him so he retreats into the mountains where the creature catches up to him and tells him he wants him to make a woman for him and that once its done they'll retreat into South America, so he reluctantly agrees after fearing for his family and starts working on her on the Orkney Islands but starts getting dreams particularly if the creature and the female creature were to ever be together they would create a new race of beings that could plague mankind so Victor kills the female corpse, and in revenge the monster kills his childhood friend Henry Clerval where the monster makes it look as if Viktor has killed Henry so he then goes to prison, but he then suffers another mental breakdown while in prison but after being aquitted of it he then returns to his family home in Geneva with his father. Here he marries Elizabeth his childhood sweetheart, believing that the creature threatened his life he tells her to stay in her room in the house while he goes looking for the creature, but while he searches the house and grounds the creature murders Elizabeth then Viktor's father dies, Viktor then chases his creation all the way to the North Pole but doesn't kill him.

So with this in mind the movies going to be a little bit dark in theme, and with the creators of Underworld it's fair to say that the film is going to be action packed. But this time it looks like this film has given Mary Shelly's tale a modern twist as the story for this film is that Frankenstein's monster is immortal and is now called Adam played by Aaron Eckhart who you may have seen as Harvey Two Face in Batman: The Dark Knight, and he's now the focal point to a centuries old war .between powerful supernatural forces...the baddies led by Bill Nighy want to use Adam's immortality and abilities to create an army to destroy the human race, the goodies led by Miranda Otto want to save the human race.n as

But...stuck in the middle and of course the love interest for Adam is a scientist Terra played by Yvonne Stahovski who you may or may not have seen as Lady Penelope in the modern version of  The Thunderbirds film.

From what I can see of the trailer this looks like it might,- cross your fingers, hold your breath and knock on wood-, like it might be on a par with the original Underworld, which I might add is probably the best. I do have to say though that the CGI soldier at the start of this trailer is a really good effect as I thought at first that it was Pegasus coming through the roof.

But I'll just have to wait and see for January 24th 2014 to roll around to see if this film lives up to these good CGI effects, action packed trailer and Underworld writers.

Ben Affleck to be the new Bruce Wayne!?

I've just read this news on iamrogue.com and this has  got me very excited...well not really the bit about Ben Affleck being Bruce Wayne because of Daredevil with the all in one red leather cat suite. I think the less said about this the better.

Anyhew.... according to I Am Rogue Zack Synder who I read on a website said that he would at some point like to do a Batman movie with Christian Bale at say around 50 years old, this may have been said jokingly and age is probably the reason why Christian Bale didn't want to do this film...but I think Batman is character wise probably already this age as in Batman Begins Bruce Wayne celebrated his 30th birthday so to my mind he'd be 30 something in Batman: The Dark Knight and so he'd Bruce Wayne would probably be character wise 40 years old or there abouts in Batman: The Dark Knight Rises...so from a casting point of view this sounds to me probably smart as I guess that Ben Affleck is around the 40-50 years old mark so it would make sense for him to play Bruce Wayne...but I hope this time there's no red leather catsuit with red leather hat with ears!

This I realise may sound like I am an obsessive fan that has thought about this a bit too much and therefore sounds a little bit nuts but I swear I'm not nuts...just a big fan of the Batman films I swear!

Anyhew I digress....Zack Synder who will direct this film has according to I Am Rogue.com been shooting some quick footage of American football on location at East Los Angeles College Weingart Stadium which will show three takes of three passages of play during half time and that these scenes will capture the crowd and actors reactions, as well as it doubling for Gotham City University home ground.

These are the new look uniforms that Gotham City University and Metropolis State University will be wearing during this football game.

There is no official UK release date set yet according to IMDb.com but there is a 17th July 2015  USA release date for this film...lucky devils!

David S. Goyer has written both the screenplay as well as the story for this film, and just in case all of you who had seen Man Of Steel and were wondering if Henry Cavill will be returning don't worry your pretty little heads anymore he is as well as Amy Adams, Diane Lane and Lawrence Fishburne.

Old Boy Update!

I'm sorry that I've been away from here for so long but I have just read on Empire Magazine an exciting update about the Spike Lee Old Boy remake. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT OLD BOY IS ABOUT PLEASE LOOK AWAY NOW....CONTAINS SPOILER ALERT!

I'm such a big fan of this movie (the original one that is), and I do realise that other people who like me have seen this movie and know what the story of this film is that being a big fan of the film may sound a bit wrong but it is the film that all Quentin Tarrantino films are based on...or so it said on the back of the DVD when I bought it.

Anyhew... for those that haven't seen this film and don't know what it's about then I'll fill in the blanks for you:

The story is that a man Oh-Dae-Su is kidnapped and imprisoned for 15 years in what appears to be an apartment block, but every so often at the same time every day within these 15 years he is poisoned with hallucinogenic drugs where he has the most frightening dreams and then he passes out, but he is also fed during this imprisonment but then for no reason at all he is let go and told he has to find out who has imprisoned him and that he only has 5 days to do this in with a trusty sidekick in tow.

This then leads to all manner of fantastic martial art style fight scenes and also to the disturbing secret that he went to school with his captor and his sister but she killed herself and that it was all because he found out that his captor was sleeping with his sister and that his sidekick really isn't his sidekick but in fact Dae Su's daughter and they both been hypnotized to forget about each other and this then leads into them sleeping with each other and when Dae Su learns this at the end he cuts out his own tongue as he is so disgusted with himself about what he has done.

Thanks to Empire Online this new poster for the remake has popped up which IMDB says will be coming to the UK on December 6th 2013 with Josh Brolin who you might have seen recently in "Gangster Squad":

But this time the story is that Josh Brolin will play Josh Doucett a businessman who is mysteriously kidnapped, drugged and imprisoned for 20 years in a hotel room style chamber but then out of the blue without no explanation he is let go and sent on a mission to find out who did this to him.

Here is the link to find out the other release dates for other countries:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1321511/

According to Entertainment Weekly this will/already has had a panel at New York's Comic Con and will/ has been attended by cast members Michael Imperioli who will play Chucky in the movie and Pom Klementieffas well as the screenwriter Mark Potosevich.

NEW! 30 Seconds to Mars video!

WOOHOO! I just saw the new video for "Do or Die"one of the many fantastic songs off  the amazing album "Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams".

http://www.vevo.com/watch/thirty-seconds-to-mars/do-or-die/USUV71301747a

I have to say that the stage set in the last bit of the video looks amazing, and as always the clips of the band in this video including the bits like the sunset, outside the airoplane etc at the start of this music video look amazing, I was just thinking though that I still can't believe that (and I know that this sounds very unfan of me but I still haven't seen them and this really shows what I'm missing as they look awesome...and now I can't even believe this but I have just booked tickets to see them on my birthday in Nottingham....Aaaah! I'm soooo excited can't wait for the 21st of November to role round!)

The song though on the end credits though I have to say though I still have to say sounds very much like a song from Drive and is still my favourite....I hope you enjoy this video!

All KOL fans stop what your doing right now and watch this!

I was just on Twitter and thanks to Jared Followill I saw this, drum roll please...the new video for "Supersoaker" this for me is the and most exciting thing I'd heard seen today.

http://www.vevo.com/watch/kings-of-leon/supersoaker/USRV81300303

Well that's a downer, raining on my parade...I can't seem to get the actual video up only this link up.

Oh Well! Enjoy!

And the other day when I was listening to this on Radio 1 where they let slip the name for the new album "Mechanical Bull" I just had to look on Amazon to find out when this was out...and this is out on the 23rd September 2013 so like many Kings of Leon fans I'll be definitly preordering this!

Update on Scarface!

I saw this today on Deadline Hollywood's website this morning and I just had to put this up.

According to a source of Deadline Hollywood:

"Universal has been through a couple of drafts and now is very high on the current draft . The first stop is the director. This is before any conversations on talent or timing."

Also according to Deadline Universal Studios were when this was written on the 31st of July (I know this is now old news but I'm still catching up on all things while I've not been on here plus anything to do with a reboot of this movie is still dead exciting!) that drum roll please the director they're in final talks with to direct this is....David Yates who directed the last couple of Harry Potter films (Harry Potter 5,6,7,8).

He's been this article says charged with the hard task of updating Scarface and making it live up to the classic Al Pacino film and another Scarface that was made before as it says that this film became part of popular culture along with the other one- well you live and learn something everyday, as I thought that there was only one Scarface that being the Al Pacino one with Michelle Pfeiffer, I've just seen the poster for the older version of Scarface and I have to say that it looks a bit like the movie poster for Cassablanca that is another must see old movie that if you haven't seen it yet why on earth not, and when I say this I mean that it looks like a real old gangster movie so I think that this is a movie that I'm definitely going to be renting as this has definitely piqued my curiosity to see what it's like-, but I just thought that it's probably a good idea to try and bring it more up to date, but I think you should only update some of Scarface and not update all of it as you don't want loose what made this film bloody brilliant in the first place or upset any die hard fans of the Al Pacino version it's then  I think that its not going to be as good as those versions and then what was the point in the first place of even trying to make a revamped modern version of Scarface.

And I've just thought if it's not kept some things or not as good as the other versions of Scarface then this is going to make not very many people want to go and watch it and this is going to mean that if not very many people are buying cinema tickets for it then not a lot of money is going to get made for Universal Studios.

I just thought it you haven't seen this film yet and don't know what this is about then I'll fill in the blanks:

Al Pacino plays Tony Montana a cuban immigrant who along with his friend tries to overthrow the local coke kingpins to become the one and only in order to get everything he's ever wanted in life and succumbs to greed.

Head of Universal Studios under his banner Global Produce Marc Schmuger will produce along with Martin Bregman (who produced the Al Pacino version),-thank god is all I can say to this as hopefully he'll be able to keep all the best parts in the last version-.

This may be old news but some things are just too good not to blog about!

You may already have purchased Fall Out Boys fantastically amazing new album but the other day I was on Youtube and I saw their new video for their new single "Alone Together" which I think  is amazing!

t

Since I bought this I have been playing this none stop, morning noon and night and its even the album that I listen to to wake up to in a morning that is how addictive this album is. All the songs on the album are amazing but I have to say though that I was really suprised that although this video had been posted on Youtube on the 1st July 2013 I hadn't heard it being played on Radio 1 which I thought Zane Lowe might have played it or even introduced it as a new record from Fall Out Boy but no.

It's so hard to even say which song off this album is my favorite but I have to say that I absolutely  love "Miss Missing You", its got a synth sound to this song but a good drum beat and as always that Patrick Stump has an amazing voice which makes all the songs off the album sound soooo good, but I also love "In Death Valley" which I have to be honest and say that when I first heard it I thought that it would be cool if in the video the band could be in the desert on camels with laser guns and Patrick could be a sheriff and their looking for someone but right in the middle of the song they get ambushed and a fight ensues. But now that I've seen this video I think this will definitly be very different because the foxes cut off Patrick's hand and have made him evil so maybe the foxes after they've recaptured all of them take them out to the desert and the black dude hiding in the bushes at the end of this video gets on a camel and has to suit up to free them from the evil clutches of apparently as one Youtube comment put it Courtney Love.

Apparently this Youtube comment said that all these series of music video from Fall Out Boy were to do with their relationship with the music industry and how their is something in the briefcase that Patrick Stump is handcuffed to in "The Phoenix" that could save rock and roll but 2 chains and Courtney Love kidnap them to get this as they don't want them to have this...so this got me thinking that as I think the duet with Sir Elton John at the end of this album which I think has to be one of the best duets I've ever heard but then again I could be biased as I am a big big fan of Fall Out Boy, if they did a music video for this song they could give the briefcase to Sir Elton John to open and then everyone sees what is in the briefcase once and for all...happy ending!

Also I have to say that although it is difficult to peg down which of these songs are my favourite "Just One Yesterday" ft. Foxes is another stand out track from this album as is "Where did the party go"

And I do have to say that on the track with " Howt the Mighty Fall" there is a lyric in the song that says " and swallow the key" but I'm always thinking that it sounds like "and swallow the cheese".

I'm not going to put them all on here as that would spoil the album for those who haven't already got it...which if you haven't already WHY THE HELL NOT! GO GET IT NOW! or you could download it!

I'm back with a brand new rap but guess who else is

I know that I've been away from here for ages, and you may or may not already know about this but I just had to put this up here as it just seems so unbelievable.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, there is a plan to do a Transporter 4, 5 and 6. The Hollywood Reporter reports that during Cannes Film Festival it was announced by Luc Bessons' EuropaCorp which did  a deal last July to become partners with the Chinese Fundamental Films that stated that 15 EuropaCorp fims would be released theatrically in China by Fundamental Films and that 2 companies would co-produce at least three of these 15, that both companies would co-produce, co-finance and distribute the next three installments in the Transporter franchise.

But there's been no word from The Statham's people yet on whether he will return as Frank Miller, former SAS turned transporter with all the rules (the main guy in these films),

The Hollywood Reporter also says that the budgets around $30-40 million and one of these is likely to be located in China.

I have seen all of these films and have to say that I hope it's better than the last one where Jason Statham reversed his BMW off a road and into the lake below and after the bad guys were gone he miraculously managed to open the boot of his car and inflate the car to the surface and then jump start it and get it back on the road, also I thought that this didn't really have much of a storyline except that it was just using the same storyline from the first one where Jason Statham finds out he's transporting a girl somewhere, but the only difference was that in the third one she wasn't in a bag tossed in the boot of his car and they both  had killer (but not in a good way) big ass bling bracelets on that when you got a certain distance away from the car you blew up .

I do have to say though that I did like the first one as it had might  good story, great location Nice, France, great house...this might just be me but I really didn't like it the bad guys shoot the house down as it was so lovely.

Empire says they feel sad if Statham return, but to be honest I can't understand why he wouldn't return in these movies as he really made this role his own and he made these films what they are today.

Like the smell of rum...well now you can wear it (just for men though)

Yohji Yamamoto, has relaunched according to Shortlist Media their iconic scent Yohji Homme which is being sold at Selfridges for £18-45. This I've just thought is a cool looking bottle but what is with some fragrances of late using alcohol in their mixtures of perfumes?

I've just thought why this might be and this may sound like I've got my business head on and I know that I've never put this on before on here but I guess there is a first time for everything, to get men to be more excited about Cologne and perfumes as I don't think that men really buy a lot of these for themselves, and women are more the type to get excited about different fragrances and perfumes but they do tend to buy this stuff for their other halves.

Anyhew...I'm going to skip over this side as quickly as possible and say that this has been blended together with sage, bergamot, mocha coffee and leather...so these are quite heady, rich, intense flavours and sound like it could go either way, men may like it but girls may not. And I've just thought that it might say more about you if your wearing this, ie these are quite big overpowering  fragrances, and if your wearing them it might suggest that you like big overpowering fragrances despite how it making all the girls turn their noses up at it and run away from you, but I shouldn't really judge as according to Shortlist Media this although an odd concoction does work.

Smell like David Beckham no thank you, I'd rather have my own au de toillette!

I was reading this the other day on Shorlist Media's website and I have to say even though it is nothing to do whatsoever with women but everything to do with men I have to say that it piqued my interest.

According to Shortlist Media these are the new line of modern fragrances from perfumieres Commodity Goods to help a man find out what a man's signature scent is, and the guy has to is fill out a scent form and then you'll get samples sent to you based on the choices you put on the form, and then you can order based on the fragrance that you like.

Now I'm not a gut and those of you who read this blog will already know this, but if I were I don't think I'd want to smell like whisky although this does taste awefully good when miixed in an American cocktail called Port Authority, and I have read a few books in my time as well so I'd like to think that I know what a book smells like the first time you open it, but for me this really isn't a smell I'd want to smell like either, so I think it's safe to say that paper doesn't smell of anything either.

But I can see what Commodity Goods are getting at, it's a fun thing for guys to do put together their own scent and feel like mega star, super cool David Beckham for a day by having a fragrance put together using the smells you like and having something on your bathroom shelf knowing that's your scent...your scent for the summmer!

I suppose in this way it's a unique gift for Father's Day if your stuck on ideas for what to get him this month, but then again I just thought that guys might have to sit down and do this with their girlfriends or their wives as what they think is a nice smelling fragrance may not be something the other halves want them to smell like.

Return of the man! Review: 30 Seconds to Mars "Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams"

I've had a little bit of a brake folks and today thanks to the help of the release of one of my favourite bands 30 Seconds To Mars' new album "Love Lust and  Faith and Dreams",- (which it says on Amazon's website is officially released on the 21st May, but I recieved it on the 20th.)- I have now listened to it and have now been renergized and I'm ready to get suited and booted and have decided that it's time to come back and dust off the old glad rags and have decided that today is the day that I return to writing on this blog and do as this album has just done for me now...reved up my engine!, Sorry about the reference to revving engines but I just couldn't resist!

Anyhew...I digress. I have thankfully just played this on my CD player in my bedroom and thanfully there is a god! YES!

If your a massive fan of the band like me you will have already seen the amazing short teaser trailer by Bartholomew Cubbins (a.k.a Jared Leto) with all the animals in including the amazing looking black wolf Shadow, a lion and a couple of  zebras, but I have to admit that when I first saw this short teaser trailer for the album I did think it looked a little bit like 30 Seconds to Mars' had especially at the end with all the zebras running all over the place had smashed Noah's Ark up and let all the animals who went in two by two out by letting them run free, so I think it's fair to say that especially with this short also showing Jared jumping around and a man covered in wasps, a hullahoop circling on its own, a big suede looking mechanical rodeo bull with matching pink suede horns going on it's own that this album has a big box of tricks and there's a lot more to it than meets the eye.

And I have to say that this is sooo true!...even though I have just listened to it I couldn't help but be left grinning the biggest smile I think I have ever grinned when listening to a 30 Seconds to Mars album, and I think that eventhough this album sounds completely different to their other albums,-I say that this album is sounds different to "This Is War" and "A Beautiful Lie" as Jared Leto's still sounds amazing as always, Shannon Leto and Tommo still make all the songs on the album sound as thumping and amazing as ever, and for me if you try and listen to another album or song that isn't 30 Seconds to Mars after you've heard one of their songs it never sounds as awesome as that song of their's that you just heard and it makes you want to go out and just sit in your room or wherever you are at that moment and listen to that album to keep on listening to that and all their other songs on that album which after you've heard that album you just want to sit for a bit and go "Ok...let's listen to that again", and this is why to this day my favourite songs of their's are "The Kill", "A Beautiful Lie", "Attack", "Saviour", "Hunter" etc as all their songs are sooo good its really nearly impossible for me to choose just one favourite and this may sound a bit ponsy but I'm going to say it anyway, they really know how to play the hell out of their instruments to make every song sound really electrifying,- but in this album they've just added other electric sounds to their own which I think really adds to this electrifying sound making each song sound different but a good different...so do not fear 30 Seconds to Mars fans!

I just thought with listeing to this album now I have to admit that "Up In The Air" lyric video unfortunatly real video isn't working below is really just a taster of the other fantastic tracks on this album.

The artwork for this has been done by Damien Hirst who was the artist that did an art exhibition in the Tate years ago if I remember rightly with a cow cut into half and put into a big tank the same as  a shark and if you have recieved your spotted album today the same as me those of you may or may not instantly recognise that this is Damien Hirst as he did this exact design for the last Brit awards...though for me if I were a singer/songwriter and was getting an award I think I would have  wanted more the Brit  award that was designed by Vivienne Westwood as this looked amazing to me.

Anyway...."Conquistador" is already one of my favourites from this album it sounds to me a bit similiar drum beat to You Me At Six's "Loverboy", but still sounds like an old classic rock song with the amazing guitar sounds but I think that above this track off the album " Pyres Of Varanasi " is an awesome instrumental song that when I heard it,- you may have heard this one before as it's definitly on the opening to the short for the album and I love the big dramatic sound of it, I thought that a cool idea for the video to this could be Shadow is at the front of a girl wearing something like Jenniffer Gardner wore in the film Electra when she's at her house having the big fight scene with the hand and that guy who can make his tatoos come alive, i.e he makes his tattooes of two wolves that are on his  his chest come to life and attack someone and he makes all his tatooes of snakes at the end of the film come to life and strangle the life out of the little girl, and then there's more people stood watching and there's another person on the other side that fights her and it finishes where of course team mars wins in dramatic style.

This video above of "Conquistador" and "Pyres Of Varanasi"I've put here just to give you a taster fans of the band and other music fans alike so that you can see what I mean when I say that you definitly have to get a copy of this album as if you don't I think you will definitly miss out on one of the albums of the year if not of all time...I know that I may be a little bit biased when I say this though as I am a huge fan of Jared Leto and of the band but I really do think that this is one of those important albums that you just have to have in your record collection.

I absolutly love "Bright Lights" as it to me really sounds like it could have been a song out of Drive the movie which is one of my favourite films...but then again this could just be me. "City Of Angles" is another one of my favourites.

Imagine Dragons "Night Visions" Album Review

I know this album has been out for a while now and I have already got this album but I've just wanted to do a post on these guys for ages so I thought that I'd do one today.

I've recently just been on a bit of a buying binge lately with CD's as I've been pre-ordering Imagine Dragons, Pheonix's "Bankrupt",-which has just arrived today- Paramore's "Now" and 30 Seconds to Mars' "Love Lust Faith +Dreams", I have to say that all these little packages from Amazon that keep arriving get me feeling very excited and make me feel like a kid on Christmas morning when you see first thing in a morning all the presents that you got from Santa Claus.

Anyhew... I have to also say that I've been meaning to write a review of the new Imagine Dragons album that came out on April 1st...if you've not got this yet I urgently advice you to get a copy of this NOW! as it is a must listen to debut album.

Track Listing:

1. Radioactive
2. TipToe
3.It's Time
4. Demons
5.On Top Of The World
6. Amsterdam
7. Hear Me
8. Every Night
9.Bleeding Out
10.Underdog
11.Nothing Left To Say/Rocks
12. Cha-Ching (Till We Grow Older)
11. Working Man

I have to be honest and say that everyday since I got this album that I've been playing this none stop morning noon and night on my CD player and I was reading the other day on Rollingstone Magazine's website that they had done a Top 100 of the best debut albums and since I've listened to this and probably drove my parents crazy with listening it so much that this album has to be included in this as well as Paramore's Now album, the fantastic new album "Save Rock and Roll" from Fall Out Boy,and I think this may be the album of the summer as I really think with how bad the weathers been lately that you could put this CD on and feel like you have a few friends over and having a few drinks in the sun or if you were going to have a house party...this I have just thought would definitly have to be any and everybody's party mix and it definitly is a fantastic album to make you think your driving down the roads to have a lovely summery drink sat outside at a pub.

I have to say that eventhough "It's Time" is at number 30 on the chart I can't believe with how amazing this is that more people aren't thinking the same or listening to it as I think that it definitly needs to be in the Top 10...but come to think about it any of these songs from the album could be in the Top 10.

A few of  my favourite stand out tracks from the album are definitly "It Time", "Bleeding Out", "Radioactive". I love the in Bleeding Out the lyrics "When the wolves all cry/to fill the night with howlering" as well as the phat drum and guitar sound on the track as well as the chorus "I bear my skin/and I count my sins/and I close my eyes/and I take it in/I'm bleeding out/I'll bleed out for you/For You".

I saw on VEVO yesterday the brand spanking NEW! music video for one of my favourite songs on the album "Demons", I have to say that I think this video is really cool showing them performing this track live but I think this definitly has vibes of what Papa Roach did in their video for "Last Resort" with the camera keeping zoning in on a couple different people in the crowd.

There are lots more favourites on here but I'm only going to put a taster of the album "Night Visions" on here for you as I don't want to spoil it all for you!

"Rocks" and "Working Man" really have a cool reggae sound to them making just about every track on this album amazing with each of them sounding really different to the last track as there are some tracks that use a lot of synths, drums, guitars and other tracks are a bit different with just singing on and it's not such an instrumental backed track that you just listened to making it really hard to choose which one is your favorite and it might just be me but for me this album since I first listened to it has been all I want to listen to at the moment and every track has made me just want to get up and dance to it,-I understand that on tracks like "Hear Me" and "Demons" you can't really dance to them-.

But even though these tracks are a little harder to dance to they are still my favourites!

Weirdest things that I've just seen today

I was just in the middle of perusing the internet for work when I saw these on Shortlist Mode's website grooming section of their website the most odd things, I just had to write a post about them as they seemed so bizarre to me:

1.  Sushi Cologne....Yes you are reading this right there's no need to do a double take Sushi Cologne:

It's available over at Dementer Fragrance Library's Website where it describes this new cologne of their's as :

"...the fresh scent of just cooked sticky rice and straight from the seaside seaweed , laced with hints of ginger and lemon essence. Simply delectable."

Now I'm just thinking if I were a guy why on earth would I want to smell like sushi?

But as it stands I am a women so Cologne doesn't really apply to me but I still don't think I'd buy this if I needed to buy a present for a guy because although the description of it having hints of ginger and lemon in it making it sound as if this is going to be quite a spicy but fresh smelling scented cologne I don't really see why any guy would want to also smell like just cooked sticky rice.

I love sushi but I don't really see why any fragrance house would want to try and make this a scent especially one for men, I don't really see this working but being me if I saw this in a shop I'd probably go over and see what it smelt like as this has definitely piqued my interest to see what it smelt like as you never know it could be better than it sounds like, but then again it could just be another 007 Bond Fragrance...I do have to say that I saw this in a shop that I was in and had a quick smell (this may make me sound a bit weird smelling fragrances for men but I only did it as I am a huge James Bond fan and I wanted to know what it smelt like) and it was to me a very offensive smell one that if I was a guy I would never choose to wear.

Let's hope that the new 007 Blue Ocean Royale smells a lot better.

2. Pizza Hut have made a perfume...no word of a lie this has actually been done:

This idea started off life as an actual joke according to Shortlist Mode Magazine by advertising firm Grip Ltd. who asked followers to come up with a name for an imaginary bottle of scent that was going to be inspired by the smell of pizza,- this bottle is the one on the left-, and as there were so many people who wrote in to this saying that they would actually wear a scent that smelled like pizza they decided to make one for real,-this is the one on the right-, and they said they would give the first 100 people who messaged back a bottle of this eau de Pizza...sorry about the pun but I just couldn't resist.

I just thought would this be a unisex fragrance or would it be an eau pour homme or pour femme?

But I have just read that this online Facebook PR stunt is only for Canada and hasn't been extended to the UK...yet but give it time I bet this will come to the UK.

I just have to say it but I bet this smells just like mamma used to make!

3. Redken have made a beer shampoo:

Yes you are reading this right Redken For Men have just brought out a Men's Clean Brew Extra-Cleansing Shampoo and as you can see from the name this is no ordinary Men's Shampoo this contains malt which helps to nourish and condition the hair, and it also contains brewer's yeast which strengthens and builds body says Shortlist Mode Magazine...two ingredients which you'll find in all good beers.

It also contains orange zest which will deep cleanse your scalp while purifying and eliminating oil and dirt, it also according to Shortlist Mode Magazine contains Anti-Grit Technology which apparently makes light work of crusty mud flecks...so it sounds like its handy to have on hand if you decide to go mountaineering somewhere.

This is priced at £12.20 for a 250ml bottle of the stuff .

Teenage Ninja Turtles

It looks like after a movie about these heroes in a half shell (just couldn't resist saying this) has been on the shelf for ages that it recently seems to be really picking up a pace.

Recently it was reported by Deadline Hollywood that Megan Fox was cast to play the female lead in what they say is:

"...suppose to be a more sophisticated Avatar-like approach..."

I didn't watch this film for ages because of everybody who had watched it making fun of it saying that it was full of smurfs as everybody in this film was blue...but after all the hype died down I watched it and I thought that it was incrwdible how everything was really lifelike and based on everyday things like the one Avatar clan that rode horses, the birds that choose you to ride and the other things in the movie, but the whole thing just looks fantastic and not that blue...the only thing that is funny though in the movie is the unobtainium that is suppose to be the thing that their looking for so they can study it and live on Pandorum because Earth is supposedly dying.

But I just thought that this took ages to do so will it take ages for this to get done and will we the audience have to wait  ages to finally see Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael and Leonardo?

Anyway according to Deadline Hollywood there has been some new cast members added,  Alan Ritchson who will also star in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will play Raphael, Peter Ploszek he'll play Leonardo, Noel Fisher who was recently in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II as one of the Russians that were plotting their revenge on the Vulturie (he was the one with bright white hair) will play Michelangelo and Jeremy Howard will play Donatello for Paramount Pictures who are viewing this new reboot as a franchise.

Shredder hasn't been cast yet but Deadline expect this to be done soon, and this film is penciled in for June 6th 2014.

Exclusive: Justin Timberlake Mirrors video!

I was perusing Entertainment Weekly's website and this came up and I just couldn't resist putting it up here for your perusal and comments to see what you think of it. I also wanted to say a huge congratulations to Elissa Franceschi for becoming the single of the week on Radio 1 with "Salt" and for getting the unbelivable amount of 100+% of fans pledging on her PledgeMusic page for her to do her next album.

I always thought that the world needed to hear her music and when they heard any of her tracks people would instantly love her music! Well done to her brother Josh Franceshi from You Me At Six for giving this track to them at Radio 1...the boy done good! If like me and you didn't get to hear this amazing song then you can tune into Radio 1 at 9pm on Thursday...this I'll definitly be tuning in for!

Anyhew...I realise I'm going off topic and I have to admit that when I first heard "Mirrors" by Mr. JT I didn't really like it I thought it was a bit mushy and that it went on a bit. But now that I've seen the new music video I do think that it may be just a tad soppy,- (I realise now that I've just read this that this may make me sound a bit heartless but I do have to say that I listened yesterday to Mr.JT's 20/20 on Deezer yesterday and I do have to say that the sound of his new music is very different)...but I can't really be too harsh on Justin Timberlake as I do have to say that it's still really catchy like his other songs and I do find myself wanting to get up and dance to this song be it that it'll never be up to Mr. JT's standard

And although this is a bit of a soppy story with it being about a couple through the years it is a nice story...and the elderly couple are doing some sort of slow synchronized blades of glory dance at the beginning of the video which looks a bit weird, but I have to say that I think that I think that he is showing off with his dancing at the end of the video really isn't needed but also I don't thing it's really needed to have a dancer who could move like a pussy cat doll with her acrobatic flexing and keeping doing this but also showing off how she is so anorexic with how you can see her ribs really isn't needed I don't think.

This might make me sound a little bit ponsy and snobby but to me this music sounds a bit more chilled more mature r'n'b from him...could reflect where he is in life...this could just be me though reading too much into this though.

I have to say though that I haven't used Deezer before and I really don't know why but now that I've started to used it I love it as I thought that it really was a fantastic free service to listen to tracks that I wasn't really sure that I wanted to buy via Itunes or Amazon.

If you want to have a little perusal over to Deezer and a little gander at what this album sounds like here is the link below:

http://www.deezer.com/en/album/6406302

Also I did hear thanks to NME.com that the first half of the 20/20 Experience was released on March 18th and Justin Timberlake announced at the album launch for this that he had to:

"...clear up the rumours. This whole thing about this only being the first part...is true. There is another half. I'm not giving you a release date..."

However, Questlove a roots drummer who wrote on a hip-hop website Okayplayer.com in response to a negative review of this new album before saying that:

"...spoiler alert.'20/20 Volume 2' comes out in Nov (10 songs now...10 songs later=20 vision)".

Finally 30 Seconds to Mars has landed a new song!

As I am an avid fan of 30 Seconds to Mars and I have been desperatly wanting to hear like so many other 30 Seconds to Mars fans and I was really excited when I read on their Facebook page that you pre-order their New Album LOVE LUST FAITH AND Dreams from Itunes on the 21st May.

If you've not had chance to have a listen to "Up In The Air" the first single from the new album then here is the link below:

http://www.directlyrics.com/new-song-30-seconds-to-mars-up-the-in-the-air-news.html

 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NrFQRn2yYWs

I love this song it sounds really good and a bit different to their last album "This is War", and I really like the synth sounds on this track and does to me sounds less pumping than their other tracks but still love the guitars on the track, but I still have to say that my favorite track of 30 Seconds To Mars though has to be "Hurricane", love the music video done by Jared Leto.

But I might be a little biased in saying this but although this may not be my favourite track of theirs I still like to listen to it and think that Jared Leto's voice is amazing and that this track going into Space is amazing and a really cool idea. It's definitly worth a listen as are all of their other tracks and I urge you if you haven't you should really listen to all of their other tracks and go out and buy their other albums.

Their music will definitly change your life...this I realise might just be me as when I first heard "A Beautiful Lie" I instantly was a fan and ever since loved bands that give you a reason to listen to them.

I've just see the teaser video for the video to up in the air and I love it, I know it's only a teaser but it definitly makes me think of their song "This is A Call to Arms" from "This is War" album and I love all the different animals involved in it...can't wait for when it finally comes out!

Damien Hirst and Science Ltd. have done the cover art for the new album...this is much like the Brits award that he designed.

WTF! Veronica Mars gets a movie!

I know that MTV USA posted this news story yesterday but I just saw it today and my eyes are now popping wide open in disbelief at this.

This may make me sound a tad sad but I saw a couple of episodes of this when E4 used to show this and I don't know why or how you would want do this movie. I just thought that although this maybe exciting for the fans who showed that there clearly is a lot of love for this as through a Kickstart campaign which according to MTV USA is well known for helping out indie filmmakers get their films off the ground the fans of this show managed to raise more than $2 million in four hours...impressive!

But I just thought that when I saw this there was the whodunnit murder while they were at high school of Vernonica Mars's best friend played by Amanda Seyfried and all the exciting twists and turns this took but it just ended up as an accident, then there was the whodunnit of the school bus crash that ended with the bus falling into the sea in their last year at high school and then there was the whodunnit of rapes on campus leaving girls with bits of hair missing....to me this just sounds like it could be a Hercule Poirot murder mystery that could end up as one of the many 5 afternoon films.

But now that I think about it as I love Hercule Poirot murder mysteries it might be interesting if there were a film with him.

All I can say though is the story has to be really good to make it a worthwhile thing to have made it as Rob Thomas who made the series originally has managed with this to get Warner Bros. to back this now and it's said that production for this is going to start this summer and it's penciled in for a release date of early 2014.

Must Listen Alert...Calling All Paramore Fans! New Paramore Song!

I just got back from an amazing Italian extravaganza holiday and I saw this amazing news story on MTV USA that I just had to post, and as I am a huge fan of Paramore and am a big fan of Hayley Williams (the lead singer of Paramore if you didn't know already)

"Still Into You" is going to be the second single off the album that I can't wait to be released on April 8th...this is available to pre-order over at Amazon.com so I'd advice if you haven't pre-booked your copy of this go over to Amazon and do it NOW!

Anyhew...according to MTV USA this song is very personal as it is about Hayley Williams's longterm relationship with music producer Chad Gilbert and it also according to MTV USA falls into Paramore's new mantra of starting "a new journey not only as a band but as a movement".

So I think it's fair to say that this new album will sound a bit different from their other albums.

I have to admit that when I read:

"...their latest single sees them covering new song territory..."

That I was a bit worried that this wasn't going to sound like a Paramore track and that it was going to sound completely different to the other Paramore tracks that I love but although this sounds a bit poppy with keyboards I like it.

And I have to say that this might just be me but I thought it was really funny the shadow puppet ducks...I guess now I know what a singing duck looks like!

New Music Part 2

I was looking at my emails the other day and I got this update saying Sam Duckworth from Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly was going to release an album from PledgeMusic and I have to say that as I bought The Chronicles Of A Bohemian Teenager after I heard I-Spy as I loved that song when I first heard it and this album became one of my favourite albums as I really like all the songs on it...so this news made me very curiopus and I just had to read it.

According to Sam Duckworth's PledgeMusic page he's set to release his new album "Amazing Grace" and you can listen to the song "Only A Fool". I quite like it, the first time I heard it I thought that this record sounds very chilled laid back a bit like Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly's songs and it transported me to the beach and I just thought that although it says on the PledgeMusic page that it's a work in progress I think that he should keep it exactly like it already is...but now that I think about it this must give Stevie Wolf a run for his money as his new album is exactly like this with chilled out beats that instantly transport you to the beach.

I have put Oh Dear Vegas! on here as part of this new music post as I absolutly love this band and get really frustrated that this band along with other fantastic new bands like: Stevie Wolf (he has a new album out now that is available to download from bandcamp), The Dead Famous, Intraverse, The Begbies, Genna Marabese, Mads Langer, Elissa Franceschi etc to name a few that aren't being played on Radio 1 where they ought to be played so that the world can hear them as Oh Dear Vegas! NEED  to be played and heard by everyone!

I don't understand it why doesn't Radio 1 play tunes like these rather than heavily advertising Laura Mvula tracks as this may offend fans of her but to me her "In my garden" was really boring and for me I don't think this is a great song nor is "The Moon" track as this was being played before Radio 1 Hew Stephan's interview Pheonix and I thought this was equally boring and didn't really make me want to run out and buy her album and I thought that it would really annoy me to have bought this album and sat and listen to it in my bedroom I would think that it would just give me depression and make me think that I had made a really bad judgement call in buying it and I think I would want to forget pretty quickly that I ever bought it as this to me seems a big waste of money to buy.

Anyhew....if you haven't already heard of them you need to listen to them and then get the EP Oh Dear Vegas! I've put on here some of the tracks from their EP, but I've not put too many on here as every song on the album is for me really addictive and you'll fall in love with all the songs on the EP as when I first heard "Show her" I loved it and bought the EP from there and I have to be honest when this came through my door I was acting like a kid at Christmas jumping up and down being really excited, and I may have worn out my copy of this as I cannot stop playing it! It's utterly addictive!

So is their new song "She Devil" it has to me got a real dubstep sound to it's introduction but it's still got an incredible dance beat to it that has had me having to Youtube this song every time I'm on Youtube.

I also just had to put on here Pheonix who I am a HUGE fan of since I heard 1901 are releasing a NEW! album Bankrupt which as of now I have pre-ordered as I  listened to Hew Stephan's talking to the band last night on Radio 1 and they played some of their tracks from the new album and I have to say...although as a fan of the band I may be a little biased in saying this but I really like the background music of "Entertainement" as it sounds like (to me) a merrygo round going very fast and I really like the chilled vibe that "Cloroforme" with the electronic drum beat on this...I do have to say though that I was very suprised that the piece of music that is in the background that I was getting annoyed to hear while they were talking to Hew was a song off this new album because I first thought when I heard it that it definitly sounded like a track that was in Drive the movie but I just thought that if it wasn't in the film this song should definitely be in a follow up/sequel to Drive as this was amazing and is one of my favorite films.

If you didn't hear this last night here is the link to it:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01qzf6z

If you haven't heard of any music from this band yet Why On Earth Not? but anyway here are some tracks from their last album that you just have to go out right now and get yourself a copy as this is amazing and will easily become your must have album before you go on holiday/will definitly make you think your on holiday, also this album "Wolfgang Amadeus Pheonix" was voted by RollingStone Magazine as one of the coolest albums:

New Music you just have to listen to! Part 1

It feels like I've not written anything on here for ages...but it feels at the moment that I have just been living out of a suitcase as I was on holiday over Christmas and New Year with my family in Lanzarote then a couple of weeks later I was off  to New York with my sisters and mum and now I've just come back from a weekend in Bristol on a girls weekend with my sisters...and now I've just managed to sit down and I thought that I'd do a little bit of a catch up post.

A couple of months ago before Christmas I was on Youtube and part of their "You Might Like" section on their website it suggested Imagine Dragons and the acoustic version of "It's Time" and instantly I became a fan and then as I went on to listen to other songs by them I loved their song "Radioactive" and the video for the song instantly became my favourite music video because of the obvious muppet underground fight club and how it looked really good fun to film with there being a Gladiator style Caesar that rules who lives and who falls into the Sweeney Todd style pitt below.

but now I've just thought about it it makes me think that it's a plush toy style Gladiator where the local people come and watch a big more aggressive toy go against other fighters and like in Gladiator when Russell Crowe's character Maximus and his group have their first big fight in the Colosseum and they are having to relive the fight between Horace at Carthadge and their not expected to win but they do.

However over the weekend in Bristol I was supposed to see The Dead Famous at the Thekla but due to a complete and utter mix up with the times when they were suppose to be on I completely missed them which really made me depressed...but I luckily was cheered up by how I found out that Imagine Dragons were going to be at the 02 Academy Bristol on the 2nd April...this is definitly a band whose music that is well worth having a listen to and if your like me then here is the link to the 02 Academy in bristol:

http://www.o2academybristol.co.uk/

And if you are like me and are already loving the music and want to see what the other tracks of theirs are like then you should go to Amazon and preorder the album "Night Visions" is going to be out on 1st April 2013, I'm so excited for this I can't wait when my pre-booked copy of the album comes out.

As I'm a big fan of Elissa  Franceshi and You Me At Six I was really excited to see that there was finally a official video for my favorite song on her album "Rocks and Tears" along with "Salt" which features her brother Josh Franceshchi who is the lead singer of You Me At Six and "Flirt" and "Elliot" and "Into the Light", and I have to say congratulations to her for getting 119% on her PledgeMusic page for her next album Salt...if you haven't heard of her music yet you definitely need to, if you want you can still go over to her PledgeMusic page where you can still sign up to get her new album or you can get other really cool things. I can't wait for this album when it comes out.

I have to say that before I went on holiday over Christmas and New Year I just had to make this album one of the many albums of music that I uploaded onto my sisters Ipad so that I didn't go mad with boredom or drive my parents mental with constantly listening to Youtube while I was away...anyhew I absolutely love this song and as I am a massive fan of You Me At Six as well I also uploaded their albums as well but I have to say that I may have driven my sisters a little bit up the wall with how I constantly was listening to You Me At Six "Sinners Never Sleep" and my favorite songs from "Take Off Your Colours" "Sweet Feet", "Kiss and Tell" among others along with "Stay" which I heard in the background of a Made In Chelsea episode...and since then I have become a fan of this song.

A couple of days before I went to New York I saw on Rollingstone Magazine's website the videos for Rihanna's "Stay" and Drake's "From The Bottom"...I don't usually listen to Drakes music to be honest...I just thought that in this explicit version when he says "Fucker" it sounds a bit like the band in Old School that sings at Frank the Tank's wedding that sing the Bonny Tyler song " I Need You Tonight" and that sings "I fucking need you tonight".

I also saw before I went to New York "Thrift Shop" which along with Bingo Players ft. Far East Movement was the two big songs that were played in La Bagatelle a really amazingly cool restaurant in the meat packing district that you have to go to if you go to New York, it's got a vibe of a french bistro inside with white walls and period features and all of the food menu is french food like all different types of crepes, eggs/ouefs etc, but come 2:00 in the afternoon the restaurant becomes something else like a superhero...and becomes a nightclub atmosphere with a dj coming on, the lights go down and a laser show on the walls waiters dancing up and down the room, people start dancing on tables, someone behind the bar has a big smoke machine that goes off every five minuites with the sound of a whistle or a truck honking...but me and my sister and mum should have thought something was going to happen as when we first went in there were tables with lots of big groups of people all ordering big magnum's of Moet & Chandon Champaign, big magnums of Rose or white wine so something was going to go down.

And I really think that the music video for Bingo Players is really funny...but I really think this music video is really funny and it really has taught me that you just don't fuck with the ducks in the park or else!

I saw Thrift shop before I went on this trip and I still think to this day that the fur coat that he wears at the start of the video is fantastic...and this is at the moment one of mine and my sisters favourite songs that whenever it's on either on a music channel or on the radio we just have to turn this up full blast and dance to it as why on earth would you not dance to it? This along with this video of Taylor Swift and a goat are without a doubt the songs you should youtube whenever you are feeling poorly or down as they so easily put a smile on your face.

Also Yolo "You Only Live Once" along with other Lonely Island songs like "Jizz In My Pants", "Dick In A Box" and "Mother Fucker" should also be on your list of songs to make you feel better along with Fenech -Soler who I am a massive fan of, Pink ft. Nate Ruess "Just Give Me a Reason" which I absoultly love from the moment I first heard it back when me and my sisters bought it for our mum's birthday back last December...I have to be honest though and say that apart from the singles she's had out already and this song and the eminem song "Here Comes the Weekend" the filler songs on the album I don't really like as much as these songs and I think that maybe it was this Nate Ruess song that carried her album to the grammy nomination that she got for this album "The Truth About Love"...now I know this may sound harsh but this is just my opninion so it doesn't matter if you don't agree with me.

Anyhew...play this along with Bon Iver's "Skinny Love", "Towers" and "Calgary" which in my opinion is much more cheerier than the Birdy version but I still can't get over how she was just 13 when she first did that song, along with Imagine Dragons songs and the new Strokes song,-which I've put the link for this below-, and hopefully you will become as addicted to them as I am, or if you ever have a little bit of time to spare then these are just some of the tracks that I think that you definitly need to listen to.

I put "One More Summer" on here from No Doubt's new album Push and Shove because I love it but I also wanted to put on here what I think is an awesome idea for the music video....it could be set after an alien attack from the Joss Whedon CG alien whale's that were in The Avengers Assemble movie but a dead one could be in the background and it's out in the desert and a girl with dirt all over her could be walking out in front of a crowd of people who are jumping around and having a party because of this and then in the middle of this video No Doubt could be on a stage performing the song.

I'm not weird I promise! I just really wanted to write this on here as I love this idea.
