Finally! After already pre-ordering this film and having to wait what seemed like aaaaaaaaaaages I have finally just got an e-mail from Amazon.com's website saying when this will be released on to DVD and this is:
Drum roll please!
February 5th 2018.
Oooh! this to my mind has just missed out on what I would think was the ideal release time for it on DVD,-Christmas-, as I would have thought that if it came out around now when other people are bringing out comedy DVD's, CD's, TV show DVD's all adding to the various number of people's Christmas lists.
Well this date has been well and truly seared into my brain now that I know this and I can't contain my excitement.
I have to be honest when I first heard that there was going to be a new "Blade Runner" film released with Ridley Scott and starring Jared Leto, Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford, I instantly felt like "oh god, not another "Blade Runner" can't they just let this die with dignity like the "Alien" films"? but I also felt like if you were going to release a new one of these why wouldn't you involve Ridley Scott as he did create this film as well as the characters involved in this film.
So it's safe to say when I first saw this film advertised on YouTube and on the TV I wasn't immediately grabbed or interested in going to see this film at the cinema...but on the other hand I did really want to go and see this at my local cinema as Jared Leto was starring in this film as I am a massive fan of his movies and the band 30 Seconds To Mars.
But after I saw this "short" that was directed by Luke Scott on YouTube I think it's fair to say I had changed my opinion on this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UgsS3nhRRzQ
If your like me and haven't seen the first film then I urge you to see the first one now as this might help get you to understand what is going on in this story as the events in this New! "Blade Runner 2049" take place 30 years after the first films events...but if you haven't seen it yet I'll fill in the blanks for you:
In the future Harrison Ford plays Rick Deckard who used to work in the police force but now tracks down Replicants as a "Blade Runner",-these are bioengineered with synthetic skin and only live for 4 years to stop them from learning too many things i.e emotions and therefore its for safety that they only live for 4 years and the only way to spot a Replicant is by using the Voight-Kapff test to provoke a emotional response,- but as there is a law that says all Replicants have to live in the other world territories and if a Replicant comes to Earth the penalty is death he is out of work until he gets called in by the police telling him 4 Replicants have killed everyone on board a ship bound for the other world territories and are heading for Earth he needs to find them and stop them, but he finds out that the only reason they have come to Earth is to find Niander Wallace who had made them because one of them wanted to know how they could prolong their girlfriends life, but once these replicants find out from Niander Wallace himself that they've tried everything to do this but failed as every Replicant died in the process he gets killed by the Replicants...and he also finds a girlfriend himself in Niander Wallace's secretary "Rachel" who is a special kind of Replicant with an unknown amount of lifespan that he runs away with at the end of the film to avoid being arrested and for her to avoid being found out as a Replicant.
Ok I admit it, me and my sisters sat down straight away when we first heard there was going to be a NEW! "Blade Runner 2049" to see the first film to see what it was all about as we had never seen it.
I wanted this blog's words to look like they had a similiar look to Rolling Stone Magazine as that Magazine is to me a god like magazine. I also wanted this blog to be like me with fresh, new and exciting news about all things music and film based.

New! Must Listen To Music Alert!: Music From Stevie Wolf has just dropped
I heard the other day to my delight when I was on Facebook that Stevie Wolf was going to be releasing some NEW! music...and thank god that this dropped onto the Internet before last Thursday as I am a massive fan of this guy and having to wait to listen to this new music was killing me, and as I am a massive fan of all of his songs so as you can imagine I was so excited I just couldn't contain myself...I was jumping around like Christmas had come early.
So of course I just had to listen to this and download this song "Who" and if you haven't heard this yet here is the link below:
https://soundcloud.com/steviewolf/who
And if you haven't downloaded this yet you have to...if you haven't downloaded it yet go to Spotify, ITunes, apple music and Amazon Digital Music. I have to say that like all Stevie Wolf's other songs it is getting stuck rather annoyingly,-is it such a bad thing when the song is soooo good,- in my head all the time and it is taking ages to get it out.
If you haven't heard of any of Stevie Wolf's music before why the hell not?! I urge you now if you haven't heard any of his music before stop whatever your doing right now and download it now!, here is the link to hear some of these songs on YouTube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MoOSEJzftg
This is his amazing cover of Blink 182's "Dammit"...I have to say that every time I listen to Blink 182's version of this song it's really hard for me to not stop thinking of this version as this is soooo good and I am a massive fan of Blink 182 and I'm always a little bit sceptical when it comes to someone doing a cover of an amazing song like this that is such a classic and that everybody knows but I love this cover and like every other Stevie Wolf song I've heard I can't stop dancing along to it and then thinking when the song has finished "Oh is that it? Is the song finished? That came a bit quick, let's play it again".
And here is the link on The Indie Folkx's channel to "Getting Through":

And here is the link to The Alternative Way's YouTube channel:

Hold The Bus! No Sam Mendes to direct the next Bond film Christopher Nolan might direct?
I saw a headline last night on the internet saying "Christopher Nolan fan favourite to reboot James Bond" and I know that I've not been blogging on here for a while but I didn't realise that Sam Mendes wasn't coming back to direct Bond 25.
Anyhew...I have just read on The Express's website that according to Barbara Broccoli one of the producers of the James Bond film franchise has said that:
"We've got our Daniel; we've got we've got to find our director. We've got to find the director. We're working on the script and we'll see...Hopefully by the beginning of the year we'll have more news on all those fronts."
So this as you can imagine has started up a whole new rumour mill among James Bond fans who is going to get this...and according to this same website the top of this list is Christopher Nolan and also according to Archivo 007's website:
"On this occasion, two different sources, one from the United States and the other from the United Kingdom ...tell us Nolan will be the director and that he is already working on the film."
This website goes on to say that:
"These solid sources foresee that the official announcement can be made in January or February 2018".
I have to be honest as a James Bond fan myself that as soon as I read this news my first thought was that this definitely must mean that Tom Hardy is going to be involved in this next James Bond film in some capacity either Bond himself or as an interesting idea from the Express's website a villain.
This next Bond film is set to be released in the UK in November 2019.
But in another article published on The Express's website Christopher Nolan has said about the possibility of directing a James Bond film to Playboy Magazine:
"Maybe one day that would work out. You'd have to be needed, if you what I mean. It has to need reinvention; it has to need you".
So this sounds like to me that if Christopher Nolan were to direct a James Bond film one day then he might have a go at rebooting the franchise...and The Express's website has as you can already imagine started thinking of the ways that Christopher Nolan can reboot this franchise.
One of their imagining's is that Christopher Nolan could take the franchise back to the original period which the author Ian Fleming set his books which were set between May 1951 and February 1964.
And of course they've suggested that Tom Hardy could be the shoes once Daniel Craig finishes his turn in this franchise, or Christopher Nolan could make James Bond a woman or that he could keep the franchise still in the present as Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson and co. have made since Daniel Craig was cast in the role as James Bond.

Fear not "Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" fans the "Millenium" series is getting a new film
God...this feels like I'm having to shake off the dust of this blog as I know I haven't been on here for aaaaaaaaages you can thank this bloody flu of mine that really hasn't wanted to leave.
Anyhew...I was just reading on Collider.com's website that David Lagercrantz who has carried on the "Millenium" series of books that were written by Stieg Larssen until his death in 2004 of a heart attack that featured the adventurers of Lisbeth Salander that was played by Noomi Rapace, a very gifted computer hacker that if you've not seen the films,-I don't know why you wouldn't have as these films were massive but the less said about the English reboot the better in my opinion, that starred Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig as I really don't know why after the first set of Swedish speaking films you'd redo the film as they were so good,- who is an orphan and a ward of the state but is sent to a psychiatric hospital and is abused but she has money that is controlled by her guardian that years after she is released from the hospital doesn't allow her to use her money to pay for a new laptop and in the first film "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" along with controversial investigative journalist Mikhael Blomkvist who was played by Michael Nyqvist who runs "Millennium Magazine" find out what happened to a girl who disappeared years ago and Lisbeth also takes her money and runs but later takes her guardian to court using footage of him abusing her that she took herself from a hidden camera will have this series of books continued with the latest addition to the "Millennium" book series "The Girl In The Spider's Web" that was written by David Lagencrantz being planned to be adapted by Sony and production for this is already according to this article on Collider.com's website set to start in Berlin and Stockholm in January and is also according to this same article has a release date already pencilled in for October 19th 2018.
It has also been reported by Variety.com that Norwegian actor Sverrir Gudnason who starred in "Bjorn vs. McEnroe" as Bjorn Borg the infamous tennis player,-just in case you've never heard the name before-, has been cast along with Claire Foy who will play Lisbeth Salander who you may or may not recognise from the Netflix series "The Crown" to play Mikhael Blomkvist, along with Sylvia Hoeks who will play Lisbeth Salander's twin sister and Claes Bang will star as the villain of the piece.
The film will be directed by Fede Alvarez, the screenplay for "The Girl In The Spider's Web" will be written by Steven Knight along with Alvarez's team and Jay Basu. Amy Pascal and Elizabeth Cantillon will join Scott Rudin and Yellow Bird in producing this film according to Variety.com's website.

Holy Shit look at these NEW! music videos that have just dropped!
I apologise for not posting anything on here sooner but I've been struck down with flu and this time it's been feeling like it doesn't want to leave.
Anyhew...I was just perusing the internet this morning and thank god there's some NEW! music videos that have dropped that can cheer me up especially the NEW! music video for 30 Seconds To Mars Video "Walk On Water" #Soon. Although like many other 30 Seconds To Mars hearing #Soon is driving me mad as I really want to know when the new album will be coming out.
Here's the link on YouTube for you to take a little look at to see what you think:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44NYFvhXmW8
I have to say that it's amazing to think that over 1,000 people sent some kind of footage in to contribute to this project of theirs "A Day In The Life Of America".
Also I was perusing Facebook and I saw that the NEW! music video for Ed Sheeran's "Perfect" has just dropped, here is the YouTube link for you to have a look at it:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Vv-BfVoq4g
I have to say this definitely looks like Ed Sheeran is getting into the Christmas spirit with making snow angels and skiing...I had to laugh when I saw in the video the block of wood with the shot glasses on because I've never seen anything like that before. I was just thinking the viewing of this new music video and this might make the number of downloads and streaming go up as well so that's probably going to get the Sheeran machine lots and lots more money....I just thought this along with the John Lewis Christmas advert will probably be the most streamed video on YouTube this year.
I also saw this whilst perusing Twitter yesterday:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asNH0-jjcpA
This is the new trailer for the new album "The Beautiful and The Damned" from G-Easy that I have to say looks really good, I can't wait to hear these songs especially this one that is used in this trailer featuring Halsey it sounds really good to me "Him and I". Here is a YouTube link to "The Plan" that was put on YouTube yesterday...I just thought though why on earth do people put in their music videos girls in skimpy bikinis or underwear twearking when it has nothing to do with promoting the song what so ever.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujyTQNNjjDU
And now I've just seen the NEW! music video from Macklemore "Over It ft. Donna Missal" I can't get this out of my head...which is no bad thing as this I have to say since I bought the new album "Gemini" has to be one of my favourite stand out tracks from the album that I keep playing on repeat along with "Marmalade", "Intentions", "Glorious"...now that I think about it this list could go on for ever as I have all the tracks from this NEW! album on repeat.
I have to say I already thought that Donna Missal sounded like she had an amazing voice on this track but looking at this music video it really shows that she has a bloody amazing sounding voice.

NEW! Evanescence video for "Imperfection"
You may or may not know but Evanescence is going on tour and are releasing a NEW! Album "Synthesis" which is out in November and I have just seen whilst perusing YouTube.com's website Evanescence have now put up on their VEVO page a NEW! official video for this song.
If you haven't heard this song yet...why not? Anyhew... here is the link to see what you think to the official music video for "Imperfection":
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_XoKJP1XK4
I have to be honest with the big piano instrumental intro to this song I nearly missed the video but after this build up I have to say that this to me does sound very much like a Bond theme with its dramatic sound.
And I do like the watercolour effect in this video but (and I don't mean to course any offense when I say this) but I hope this is just an initial video as I don't get it with the little girl and the crown of thorns that she wears in the video.

God it's all kicking off even before "Fast and Furious 9" has even begun!
I totally agree with Collider.com's website that when there's any news about anything to do with "Fast and Furious" it is virtually impossible to write anything or even for me to post anything up on this blog without making a pun about cars, engines etc.
Anyhew...You may or may not have heard but there has been a lot of news circulating recently on the internet that a lot of things have happened that you might have thought would threaten to derail this movie franchise and even stall "Fast and the Furious 9" even being made, things like arguments going on between Vin Diesel and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Tyrese Gibson who plays Roman Pierce in the films blaming Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson why the release date for "Fast and Furious 9" has been pushed back a year to April 10th 2020 and there's not even been a confirmed cast for this film nor a confirmed script for this movie...but fear not "Fast and Furious" fans according to The Hollywood Reporter's "Heat Vision" blog there will be a "Fast and Furious 9" and that according to "sources" Universal Pictures had pushed this release date back to accommodate potential director scheduling and also according to these same "sources" The Hollywood Reporter's "Heat Vision" blog says that Universal Picture's top man for this is Justin Lin who directed "Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift" and "Fast and Furious 6".
This according to Collider.com's website will be the penultimate film in the franchise as according to Collider.com Vin Diesel has always said that the Fast and Furious franchise would tap out at 10...so I'm thinking that this to me would leave a huge gap in the movie world to make a franchise or fill the gap with something that would gross as much money as this franchise did but in my opinion the trick to this might have something to do with having an original idea like the first film was created out of an idea based on a magazine article about the street racing culture that was going on in the San Fernando Valley around the turn of the century.
Anyhew... according to The Hollywood Reporter's "Heat Vision" blog Universal Pictures are already creating a spin off film that centres around Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's character from the films Lucas Hobbs and Jason Statham's character from the film Deckard Shaw. This according to this same article on the "Heat Vision" blog has been pencilled in by Universal Pictures to be released on July 26th 2019.
Also according to this article Chris Morgan who has been in charge of writing the scripts for these films ever since "Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift" is said to be now writing the script for this spin off film...but this same article does say though that no deals between these two actors have not been made.
And it already looks like Universal Pictures are already looking ahead with ways to make more money out of this franchise long after the cameras stop rolling with there already being planned for next year a live arena show, a theme park, consumer products and according to Donna Langley chairman of Universal Pictures who spoke to The Hollywood Reporter saying that:
"The global brand of "Fast and Furious" is strong and full of iconic characters, and we look forward to continuing to build on the film that started it all, as well as expanding into different narratives beginning with our first spin off".
So sounds like to me you should watch this space for more things to come from this money making film franchise.

If There's One Thing You Do Today It has To Be This...The NEW! Trailer For Star Wars: The Last Jedi
Omg! Omg! Omg! the NEW! trailer for "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" has just dropped today and as I am the biggest fan of these movies I just had to watch this...and I still can't wait for this NEW! film to be released.
In case you haven't seen these films why the fuck not? I was thinking that if you hadn't then I'd fill in the blanks but there's just too much that's gone on in this film universe for me to fit in on one blog post...but here it is in a nut shell: there is a light and a dark side, the jedi knights keep the balance of this and the Alliance has been fighting the dark side of the Empire for years trying to tip the balance in their favour, this started with Princess Padme Amidala who was the mother of Luke Skywalker and Leia who were separated at birth because there father was a Jedi knight Anikin Skywalker but he turned into Darth Vader leader of the dark side and was controlled by the Sith Lord and the republic feared that if the Sith Lord was to ever find out about the two children then he might go in search of them to either turn them to the dark side and gain more control or kill them, so Leia became a Princess and Luke became a pilot in sky fleet command but wanted to become a Jedi knight, but whilst the Rebel Alliance which Leia was part of along with Hans Solo, Chubaka, C-3PO and R2D2 were being hunted by Darth Vader Luke Skywalker went to be trained by Yoda on a planet called Tatoeen where he would learn everything about the force and how to become a Jedi knight but he cut his training short when he learned his sister and friends were in trouble when they tried to take out a satellite dish that was the command centre for the Death Star, and then he also learned his father was Darth Vader but just like his father he ended up with his hand being cut off by a lightsaber. So after this Luke always believed there was good in Darth Vader despite still being with the dark side and this was shown when Darth killed the Sith Lord but also died himself, and the last film showed that the Rebel Alliance had found plans for a bigger Death Star to be built and that Luke Skywalker had vanished and was still being hunted by the Dark Side and his sister, and that Rey a girl who had been finding pieces of scraps and pawning them for food was caught up in this fight as she finds the droid BB as well as Finn one of the StormTroopers who disobeys orders and runs away from the Dark Side's command, and she finds she had some Jedi abilities and she also found that Kylo Ren who was the new leader of the dark side's armies was once Leia's son who had turned to the dark side after being sent away to Luke Skywalker to train and learn about the force and he kills his father Hans Solo.
I've just realised whilst writing all this that this really isn't writing it all down in a nutshell...but I did tell you that there had been a lot happening in this universe of films.
Anyhew...I am just sooooo excited now I've seen this new trailer, here is the link to the IMDb.com page:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2527336/?ref_=nv_sr_2
It looks like to me that in this new film like Chubaka might just have a new friend. And what's happened to Kylo Ren since the last film for him to be friends with Rey? well I guess all will be revealed on December 14th 2017 when this film will be released in the UK.
But now I've seen this trailer I don't think I can wait that long.
This film is directed and written by Rian Johnson using characters created by the legendary director who created this franchise of films George Lucas.
Daisy Ridley who played Rey in the last film, Mark Hamill who played Luke Skywalker in the whole of the other films including the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", Oscar Isaacs who played Poe Dameron in the last film, Domhnall Gleeson who played General Hux, John Boyega who played Finn in the last film and Adam Driver who played Kylo Ren in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will return to reprise their roles.
Billie Lourd (Carrie Fischer's daughter) will according to IMDb.com star in "Star Wars: The Last Jedi", Andy Serkis who you may or may not recognise from playing King Kong in "King Kong" and Golem in "The Lord Of The Rings" will according to IMDb.com also feature in this film along with Laura Dern.
But IMDb.com has been known to state incorrect facts sometimes.

Must See: Hold The Phone! Paddington 2 trailer!
You may or may not already know but there has been talk ever since the first "Paddington" film that the bear from deepest darkest Peru will be getting a sequel...well why the hell not the first one was so good and it seemed to be bagging all the awards at the BAFTA'a at the time as well.
Well I have just seen on IMDb.com the trailer for "Paddington 2" is now finally here.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4468740/?ref_=nv_sr_1
If you haven't seen the first "Paddington" then I urge you to watch it as its so lovely to watch on a rainy day or when your not feeling very well and all you want to do is have a duvet day.
If you haven't seen "Paddington" and have no idea what the hell I'm talking about then I'll fill you in...Paddington lives with his aunt Lucy and Uncle Posquso (I'm not sure on the spelling so don't kill me if it's wrong) in deepest darkest Peru and they love making marmalade and Paddington's Uncle always has underneath his hat a marmalade sandwich in case of emergencies, there's an earthquake and on the way to the shelter Paddington's uncle dies and so his aunt sends him to London with a note around his head saying "If Lost Please Look After This Bear" where he ends up at Paddington station and meets the Brown family, they take him in and go about finding the explorer who went to Peru years before and told his aunt and uncle that they'd always have a home in London, but here he finds that the explorer died, the expedition was struck from the records of the Geographer's Guild In London and his now grown up daughter who is head of the National History Museum but has been secretly trapping already exotic species of animals and stuffing them wants to do the same to Paddington as her father was ridiculed and never received any notoriety as he would never bring a living specimen of the bears back from Peru so she sees it as revenge.
But according to IMDb.com's website Paddington's back and will be again voiced by Ben Whishaw who you may or may not recognise from the recent Bond films as he played the character Q, and settling in to life with the Brown family with Hugh Bonnerville returning to play the character Mr. Brown and Sally Hawkins also returning to play the character Mrs. Brown, and tries to buy the perfect birthday present for his aunt Lucy who will again be voiced by Imelda Staunton who you may or may not recognise from "Harry Potter And The Order Of The Pheonix" as she played the character of Dolores Umbridge and therefore takes on a series of odd jobs in the local community so as to pay for this perfect present but it then gets stolen.
And the person who would do this dastardly deed looks to be none other than Hugh Grant
Julie Walters who you may or may not recognise from the first "Paddington" will be back to reprise her role of "Mrs. Bird" and Jim Broadbent will also return to reprise his role of "Mr.Gruber",-who if you haven't seen the first film he was the owner of the antiques shop that helped Paddington identify who the hat he had originally belonged to-, also according to IMDb.com it looks like Peter Capaldi will be back in this sequel to reprise his role of "Mr.Curry"may who you may or may not recognise from the first "Paddington" as the neighbour next door to the Brown family that helps Nicole Kidman kidnap Paddington and then phones the Brown family putting on a silly voice to tell them that he's at the Natural History Museum.
Also new to this film is Brendan Gleeson who according to IMDb.com will play the character "Knuckles McGinty".
Paul King has written and directed this sequel along with Michael Bond writing this (who also originally created the character "Paddington Bear"), Jon Croker who wrote additional material for this as well as Simon Farnaby also wrote this sequel.
And according to IMDb.com this will be released in UK cinemas on November 10th and if you want to see the date for other countries that this will be released in go to the "Paddington 2" IMDb.com page and where it says the UK release date click on it and you will see the other release dates for other countries.

Guess Who's Getting A Musical...Cher!
I was perusing the internet the other day and I found this piece of exciting news on TheHollywoodReporter.com's website...Cher's getting a musical!
You may or may not already know but according to TheHollywoodReporter.com this musical bio-pic will feature all or part of 35-40 of her best well known songs but this won't be a bio-pic in the traditional sense of the word bio-pic as according to Rick Elice who will write a book that will feature alongside this musical told The New York Times that this:
"...takes place in its subject's psychological closet, and in that closet is everything she's ever been in her life-everything she has every played, every song she's sung, everyone she's been married to, every pair of shoes she's worn, every success and every failure..."
Also according to TheHollywoodReporter's website this will be generally built like her "Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour" variety show that she along with husband Sonny Bono hosted in the 1970s.
According to this same TheHollywoodReporter.com's article this non-linear story bio-pic will feature at this point of its development three actresses at different stages of Cher's life.
"The Cher Show" will be produced by Flody Suarez and Jeffrey Seller who produced the musical "Hamilton", will be directed by Jason Moore who directed the musical "Avenue Q" over in the USA, choreographed by Christopher Gattelli who choreographed the musical "Newsies" over in the States, and the musical arrangement, orchestrations and musical supervisions will be done by Daryl Waters who did the musical arrangements, orchestrations and musical supervisions for the musical "Memphis".
This will according to TheHollywoodReporter.com will open on Broadway at the Neil Simon Theatre in Fall 2018,- or for us English people this means Autumn to winter time 2018-. But this musical will get a pre-Broadway world premier at Chicago's Oriental Theatre and will run from June 12th to July 15th 2018.

Say What Sabrina The Teenage Witch is going dark?!
I was perusing the internet the other day and I heard about this and of course I just had to read this article as I used to watch "Sabrina The Teenage Witch" when I was younger and of course I wanted to know what the hell was going on with saying that this remake was going to be darker.
According to The Hollywood Reporter's website the CW channel over in America is looking to expand the Archie character comic book universe with plans for Roberto Aguirre-Sarcasa who also does the "Riverdale" show already on the CW channel looking to make a much darker "Sabrina The Teenage Witch" which will serve as a companion to the "Riverdale" series, and will see Sabrina having to deal with her half-human, half-witch nature while fighting evil forces that threaten her, her family and the world that humans live in which if given the go ahead will be written by Aguirre-Sarcasa along with Greg Berlanti who will executive produce this newly adapted show that according to this same article will be done in the vein of "Rosemary's Baby" and "The Exorcist".
According to this same article Sarah Schechter will also executive produce, and Jon Goldwater and Lee Toland Krieger will direct the pilot should this get the go ahead with Berlanti Productions producing in association with Warner Bros. TV.
Oooh...sounds like to me that the CW channel are prepared to spend the big bucks with Warner Bros. maybe getting involved in this production wise.
Not only this but according to this same article this new series that will be called "The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina" is not the only potential project that the CW channel are working on according to this same article on The Hollywood Reporter's website, the channel is already readying a spinoff show to "Supernatural" called "Wayward Sisters", this according to The Hollywood Reporter's website "...will air as a backdoor pilot sometime this season...".
This will if it gets the go ahead according to this article could potentially debut in the 2018-19 TV season. This also according to this same article could potentially be made into a dark hour long coming-of-age drama that will traffic in the occult and witchcraft.

MUST LISTEN TO MACKLEMORE!
You may or may not have heard but Macklemore have 2 New tracks out that somehow seem to have slipped through Radio 1's net...this coming from a station that claims to play "In New Music We Trust" artists.
Anyhew...I'm not going to start ranting about this again because I'll never be able to stop,-note previous posts about this-.
I was on YouTube.com's website yesterday and as well as listening to their other NEW! music "Glorious ft. Skylar Grey" which I played none stop on my holiday to St. Tropez, there was 2 tracks of theirs that were "Recommended For You" music video that you guys just have to listen to as well as the interview with Rollingstone Magazine that the vocalist Ben Haggarty has just done that I think you should read if your like me and a huge fan of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis where he talks about his NEW! Gemini tour and album without Ryan Lewis.
Be warned though that although when I first heard about this NEW! Gemini tour I was really excited because I've been lucky enough to see Macklemore ft. Ryan Lewis at the O2 area and they were amazing so I thought I'll definitely see if there was a venue that I could go see them near me but then I read that this is only across the US these tour dates are, here's the link to see these tour dates if anyone fancy's a trip to see Macklemore:
http://macklemore.com/shows/
I have to be honest when I first heard about the NEW! Gemini tour I thought that it was the name of the new tour that Macklemore and Ryan Lewis were going to do...well I guess you live and learn something new everyday.
Anyhew in case you haven't heard this song "Glorious ft. Skylar Grey" already here is the YouTube link below to have a little listen and see what you think about it:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OrLroFa0AI
And the other 2 "Recommended For You" music videos were "Marmalade ft. Young Yachty" I like this even though it does sound different but who wouldn't like it when one of the lyrics in the song is "Toy Story 3 that's a fucking good movie" and just because it's Macklemore...and their NEW! song featuring Kesha "Good Old Days". Here is the YouTube link below if you've not heard it yet and see what you think:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EyBooxCkF3A
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fUffrvUjwCY
I've just seen on YouTube that there is now an official music video for this NEW! Macklemore ft. Kesha song:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yYV9-KoSUM
And I'm betting because this features Kesha this will then get some airplay but to be honest that's why you get duets anyway because a lesser known artist wants to get heard and some airplay so they do a duet with a really big artist.
I do have to say though I like the artwork for each of these singles.

NEW! Evanescence Album Update!
Yes! Just managed to get the internet working on my lap top...I seriously don't know what is happening with this old thing today one minute it will let me open a tab to go on Google the next it says "Can't Reach This Page".
Well anyway...I'm here and ready to blog!
You may or may not already know but Evanescence are going to be releasing a newish album with an orchestra that according to Kerrang! Magazine online "...will be a collection of older material given fresh makeovers, mixing electronic elements with orchestral accompaniments...", and there will be a tour to go with this NEW! album "Synthesis" and this orchestra will also be performing alongside with the band on this tour with this same article saying that you can get tickets to see the band perform at:
30th March 2018 Royal Albert Hall
31st March 2018 Royal Albert Hall
And:
2nd April 2018 Manchester Apollo
3rd April 2018 Nottingham Arena
5th April 2018 Glasgow Armadillo
5th April 2018 Sheffield City Hall
According Amazon this album will be released on November 10th 2017.
This album if you've been reading this blog or even if you haven't will have a newish stripped back version of their massive No.1 hit "Bring Me To Life" and other tracks on this album will include according to this same Kerrang! Magazine online article:
1. Overture
2. Never Go Back
3. Hi-Lo
4. My Heart Is Brokenhaving
5. Lacrymosa
6. The End Of A Dream
7. Bring Me To Life
8. Unraveling
9. Imaginary
10. Secret Door
11. Lithium
12. Post In Paradise
13. Your Star
14. My Immortal
15. The In-Between
16. Imperfection
I was just thinking that it's a shame that along with having "My Immortal", "Bring Me To Life", "My Heart Is Broken" and "Lithium" from their back catalogue of fan favourite songs on this album that they haven't put on this album my other favourite of theirs "Call Me When Your Sober" I love the music video for this the whole idea of Little Red Riding Hood having dinner with the wolf, and now that I think about it it's a shame that "Do What You Want" isn't also on the album as this is I think an amazing song of theirs.
Also apart from being able to already hear what this NEW! version of "Bring Me To Life" sounds like, you can now have a listen to the first single from this album "Imperfection", here is the YouTube link below to have a little listen and see what you think if you haven't listened to it already:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6l4ghme4-M
This might be just me but the piano at the start of this cinematic sounding dramatic track sounds very much like the piano in Elliott Minor's "Parallel Worlds", and this also might be just me but all the electronics on the song makes it sounds to me very mechanical...but THANK GOD their back!
Well anyway...I'm here and ready to blog!

Drum Roll Please! "Baywatch" DVD release date!
Listen Up Everyone! I'd advise you to stop whatever your doing right now this is THE MOST IMPORTANT news you are going to hear all day today..."Baywatch" is going to be released on DVD on September 25th 2017. Sorry for the change in date but I was a little side tracked when I wrote this post so I didn't really keep checking the order details and if they had changed or not.
I was perusing my e-mail inbox yesterday and finally after what seems like aaaaaaaages to me of there being no e-mail update from Amazon on when this DVD will be released on DVD but it just saying on my order details on my Amazon account that I had pre-ordered this...well it's "Baywatch" why wouldn't you pre-order this if not for the hilarious insults that are hurled at Zac Efron by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
If you haven't seen this film yet, why the hell not? and I'd advise that you stop reading the rest of this post as what I'm about to write next may contain some if not all spoilers.
For those in the know this film is based on the TV series "Baywatch" which starred Pamela Anderson as CJ Parker and David Hasselhoff as Mitch who was in charge of all the lifeguards that looked after the beach and they wore all red swimsuits and particularly the girls always ran in slow motion and they always had very far fetched storylines so much so it was pure comedy...but this is where this film takes its lead, this still is pure comedy using characters from the original TV series as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson plays the character Mitch who is a dedicated lifeguard and takes it seriously as do all the people in his team until Zac Efron who plays a washed up ex American Olympic swimmer who's reputation for partying hard cost him his place on the team and also another gold medal so he has to do community service alongside Mitch and immediately gets the piss taken out of him as he rocks up in a leather biker jacket, bandana, blonde highlights on the back of a motorcycle and has his medals with him showing them off to everyone automatically assuming everyone knows who he is and that he doesn't have to do what everybody else does to become a lifeguard and go through timed trials...cue a competition with Dwayne Johnson to lift fridges, rollover tyres and even at one point Zac Efron saying that "This has nothing to do with saving lives".
And from here Mitch and his team including Zac Efron have to investigate when Mitch finds that a lot of small floka packages (drugs) keep floating onto the beach and they then find a council member dead and that it all leads back to Victoria Leeds who is played by Priyanka Chopra.
Ok you can now look if you've been trying not to read those two last paragraphs.
I urge you to not only buy a copy of this DVD when it's released or even download or stream this film just because you haven't seen it yet, but just for the insults thrown at Zac Efron to hearing the immortal words of "I'm Oceananic motherfucker" said by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as he uncovers this drug smuggling operation and puts an end to it. But also you've got to watch it just to see the cameos of Pamela Anderson and David Hasselhoff...but also I urge you to get this on DVD for the always reason of there never seems to be anything good to watch on TV these days.

Here's a Little Something To Make Your Day Go Just a Little Bit Better ....Fast And Furious 8 DVD Release Date
In between having my ear glued to listening to Radio 1 all day today because of Radio 1's Live Lounge with 30 Seconds To Mars,-one of my favourite bands by the way,- I received an update in my e-mail inbox from Amazon saying that "Fast and Furious 8" will be released on DVD on 16th October 2017....Sweeeet!
Well this has just made my day even better not only because 30 Seconds to Mars being on Radio 1 but because I am a huge fan of this franchise of films and after seeing this latest film in my local cinema I of course jumped on Amazon's website and pre-ordered this film.
In case you haven't seen this one,-why the hell did you not go to see this at the cinema when it came out is my first question, second is why haven't you already pre-ordered this on DVD and if you haven't seen this then you really should get this on DVD as not only are the original cast members in this one: Vin Diesel who plays the character Dominic Toretto, Michelle Rodriguez who plays Letty Ortiz, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges who plays the character Tej Parker, Tyrese Gibson who plays the character Roman Pierce, there is also new cast members: Helen Mirren who plays Owen and Deckard Shaw's mother, Scott Eastwood who plays Little Nobody who is Kurt Russell's sidekick in training, Charlize Theron who plays villain Cipher, and there are cast members reprising roles from previous "Fast and Furious" films: Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson who plays the character Hobbs, Elsa Pataky who plays the character "Elena" who you may or may not recognise from "Fast and Furious 5", Nathalie Emmanuelle who plays the character "Ramsey" who you may or may not recognise from "Fast and Furious 7", Jason Statham who plays the character Deckard Shaw, Luke Evans who plays the character Owen Shaw who you may or may not recognise from either "Fast and Furious 6" or from "Beauty and The Beast" where he played the character "Gaston" and Kurt Russell who you may or may not recognise from "Fast and Furious 7" who plays the character Mr. Nobody...and if this isn't enough to make you want to see this film then not to give too much away but there is even more insane stunts like in the other "Fast and Furious" films, even more cool locations and even more cool cars.
Also if you haven't got this on DVD then this would just be good for you to get as there is never anything good to watch on TV these days bar the actual good shows that don't come on to the TV until late at night....and there is a lot of action in this film that you might enjoy if your into that kind of thing.
Anyhew...now I write this I among from sounding like I'm trying to advertise this for those who haven' seen this film before to go and watch this on DVD I realise that this is more of an announcement about when this film is going to be released on DVD in the UK rather than needing a blog post about this and how this news has just taken my day from amazing listening to Radio 1's Live Lounge to another level of excitement.

NEW! 30 Seconds To Mars: "Walk On Water"
I apologise if you have already heard this NEW! song by 30 Seconds to Mars song "Walk On Water" but even though I like many other fans of this band had the 22nd August burned into my brain as this was the day that this song was going to be released but I have been away with my family until today in Norfolk and the internet is slow as a snail and it's a miracle if you even do get on the internet...so I have only got around to hearing this today and as a MASSIVE fan of this band this was priority number one on my 'to do' list today WITHOUT FAIL!
If you haven't heard this NEW! song yet here is the link on YouTube.com's website:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FA2w-PMKspo
Thank God! It feels like forever since the last album "Lust. Love. Faith" that there has been any news or any new music...this has even become a joke if you've seen this video on YouTube.com's website:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0-cWipbaCg
Still can't believe watching this that there still isn't an actual date for when this NEW! album will be getting released!
I have to be honest I really, really, really want to like this song because I'm a MASSIVE fan of 30 Seconds to Mars but I think this song is a grower and I'm not really sure about it, I think this is going to be another Gorillaz "Hallelujah Money ft. Benjamin Clementine" where I really didn't like this song when it was first released, but when I listened to the album in full I got this track because that album sounds like it's cut into 3 parts a beginning, a middle and an end and track listing wise this is at the end of the album so when this comes on if your listening to this it let's you know that this album is nearly ended (this could just be me though), so what I mean is that I think I'm going to need to listen to the rest of the new album whenever this gets released...or whenever Jared Leto isn't busy filming like with his NEW! film "Blade Runner 2049" that will see him star alongside Indiana Jones himself Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling which if you haven't already done so like me you should now put this in your diary as coming to cinemas on the 6th October or on tour with the band.
I just thought that if you haven't seen the final trailer for this new film here is the link to YouTube.com's website:

ALL EVANESCENSE FANS STOP WHATEVER YOUR DOING NOW AND READ THIS!
I know I haven't posted on here in a bit and I apologise for this but I was just perusing the Internet this morning and I saw on Twitter the amazing news that you can now go on over to ITunes and listen and download Evanescence's single from the new album "Synthesis".
Now this may not be a completely new song as if you've heard this then you'll already recognise this single "Bring Me To Life (Synthesis)" is a stripped back version new compositional with a orchestral string arrangement version of their first amazing song "Bring Me Back To Life", but if you haven't already heard this then here is the link on YouTube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5QFLV_lzeQ
This to me sounds like even though it is a stripped down version with some added strings and different sounds added to this track it still sounds as amazing to me as the first time this song was released. And thank god this is not a remix!
I also saw whilst perusing the Internet that in an article that was published on May 11th 2017 on Alternative Press's website Evanescence will also be releasing a NEW! album "Synthesis", that according to this article will have two NEW! songs added to this album along with this NEW! album allowing fans,-like me-, to hear classic Evanescence tracks in a completely new way as also according to this same article vocalist Amy Lee explained:
"This album is about orchestra and electronica. We're taking our music stripping out the big distorted guitars, stripping out the rock drums and replacing it with full orchestra and a completely synthetic world of beats and sounds."
Amy Lee goes on to explain that this NEW! album that according to Evanescence's website will be released in the fall 2017,- or if your like me and you live in the UK this is autumn 2017-, that this NEW! album may feature songs from previous Evanescence albums these will not be remixes of these songs,-in my opinion as a Evanescence fan that is a big sigh of relief as I can't even imagine hearing a remix of one of Evanescence's songs just even thinking about someone remixing these songs sounds to me like sacrilege, why would you even think about doing that to anyone of Evanescence's songs?, now that I think about it these remixes would just sound shit and annoying as you'd just want to probably listen to 5 seconds of this just to listen to how this sounds and then I think you'd stop listening to this remix and just want to listen to the original version of the song that's been remixed and you'd probably realise that the original version of this song sounds way better than the remix, but this could just be me-.
Also according to Evanescence's official website there will be a tour to support this album all around the US starting on October 14th, in case your wanting to go to any of these shows here is the link to these tour dates from Evanescence's website:
http://www.evanescence.com/shows/
Also according to the same article on Alternative Press's website this tour will include a complete orchestra.
Sounds exciting to me with the added orchestra...a bit hectic logistically it sounds to me with taking all the instruments including the bands and all the orchestra's instruments to and from all the different venues.

NEW! MUST LISTEN TO! NEW! P!NK "What About Us"
I've just seen this on YouTube.com thankfully after I heard on P!NK's official Facebook Page that she has a NEW! single out today as well as a NEW! album "Beautiful Trauma" that will be released on October 13th 2017.
Here is the link to the Lyric video on YouTube if you haven't heard this yet:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=987xHnVfRI4
Thank god there's this link because I heard that P!NK had a NEW! single out and I instantly went looking on YouTube this morning to see if I could hear this and for ages this morning all I kept getting were remixed versions of this.
I'm not just saying this because I may be a bit biased as I've always been a fan of P!NK's but I like it even though I have to say that,-in my opinion-, that I think that releasing a balled for a come back song can be a bit iffy and can sometimes sound shit...but as P!NK has an amazing voice I think she definitely pulls this off.

NEW! Fall Out Boy Video "Champion" and NEW! Album Mania News!
I was perusing the internet the other day and I saw that there was a NEW! Official Video that had been posted on YouTube.com's website for Fall Out Boy's NEW! song "Champion" and as I am a HUGE fan of this band I immediately listened to this new song and of course I immediately went onto Amazon and pre-ordered the album "MANIA".
And you may or may not know that the release date for this NEW! album has now been pushed back as Patrick Stump explained on his Twitter page that:
"The album just isn't ready, and it felt very rushed..."
He goes on to say that:
"I'm never going to put a record out I genuinely believe is at least strong or valid as the one that came before it and to do that we need a little bit more time to properly and carefully record solid performances."
This I have to say this definitely sucks to hear this but I have to say from what I've already heard so far from MANIA including "Champion" and "Young and Menace" this to me does definitely sound different to "Save Rock And Roll" and "American Beauty/American Psycho"...maybe a little bit tame I'm thinking for Fall Out Boy especially after "The Young Blood Chronicles" and all the songs on "American Beauty/American Psycho".
So this to me as a fan sounds totally the right thing and logical thing to do...but I have to say that with the llamas not being in this NEW! Official Music Video for "Champion" I was a little bit sad and kept thinking "Where are the llamas?"
Here's the link to the NEW! Official Video to "Champion" if you haven't had a chance to see this yet:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJJpRl2cTJc
And here is the link to "Young and Menace" where you can see the llamas in case your reading this and don't know what the hell I'm talking about llamas for:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VtVFTuIZFYU
I just thought although this sounds different to "Save Rock And Roll" and "American Beauty/American Psycho" this does sound really good and now I think about it the intro to "Young and Menace" does sound a bit like the start of a James Bond song...making me very curious what the rest of this album is going to sound like if this is the title track to this new album.
But unfortunately I won't get to hear what the rest of this NEW! album "MANIA" will sound like until January 19th 2018...feeling very bummed about this.

NEW! Jason Bourne Adventuure: The Bourne Initiative
Apologies again if you have already heard this piece of news but I just wanted to put this up on here as I'm a massive fan of the Jason Bourne films...well who isn't a fan of these films? and of the books.
When I was about to get on the airplane to go on a two week family holiday to St.Tropez, France I of course had a little gander at the WH Smith shop that was in the departures lounge to see if there were any good reads I wanted to take on holiday with me and low and behold amongst all the books that had intriguing titles like "The Midnight Club" or "Into The Water" there was " Eric Van LustBader: The Bourne Initiative The New Jason Bourne Adventure".
Well...as I'm a massive fan of the Jason Bourne films and books my eyes just saw "The Bourne Initiative" and I was instantly curious...but here was the rub I already had another book to finish reading but I just wanted to read this book so much more. So I did what anyone,-probably-, would do I read as fast as I could to finish the first book and started reading this book.
According to Wikipedia,-which can be unreliable so I apologise if this turns out to be wrong,- with the permission of the Robert Ludlum estate he has continued writing "Jason Bourne" novels where Robert Ludlum left off in the "The Bourne Ultimatum".
If you love the Bourne series of books/films you have to read this as well as the book before this one in the series "The Bourne Enigma".
"The Bourne Initiative" is really as engrossing as the other books in the series that I've read as well as it keeping up with all the fast paced action from the other books and films as this book "The Bourne Initiative" sees Jason Bourne on the run from everyone the Americans i.e the CIA, Meme LLC (an off site black operations cyber operations), NSA and the Russians and a warlord called Keyre want him as their top IT analysist at Meme LLC Morgana has found on the dark net snippets of a code that she's never seen before and more and more of these pieces keep turning up on the dark net, in a meeting with her boss McQuerrie Morgana notices that even though he's telling her he needs her to find out what this code is, decipher it and find out where it's coming from he seems really spooked about this code and when she does all this can she only report her findings direct to him. Then when she goes directly to NSA headquarters does he tell her that he believes this code is part of a cyber weapon that could be used to make a cyber weapon that could be used to get the nuclear launch codes for America. But the only person who could be capable of setting up a cyber weapon is Boris Karpov who was head of the Russian FSB and is now dead, and Morgana's boss McQuerrie now believes that as he was before his death head of many secret initiatives he believes that from a photograph taken with him and Jason Bourne at his wedding and the fact Karpov was best friends with him and he left his boat the "Nym" to him in his will Jason Bourne has now taken over these initiatives and is the one who is trying to sell this piece of code on the dark net and that he knows what this code is and how to stop the cyber weapon...but Jason Bourne doesn't know anything about this code or the auction on the dark net that Meme LLC have found and he doesn't believe that Boris Karpov would build a cyber weapon and after a kill team sent by the Americans blow up the "Nym" Jason Bourne along with Mala (a girl who Jason Bourne rescued from Keyre and was tortured by Keyre) is drawn into this tangled web and has to find out for himself what this code actually is, who is actually trying to sell it, is it a cyber weapon, how can it be stopped and did his old friend Boris Karpov actually build a cyber weapon as well as having to help out this warlord as he is somehow involved with this same 'Initiative'.
Now that I've read this I can't wait to get my teeth into "The Bourne Enigma" and I wonder whether this is going to be possibly made into a film and would Matt Damon come back and reprise the role of "Jason Bourne" or would someone else come in to play this role?
Who knows...or this could just be me thinking out loud. No pun intended.

Calling All Roza Shovava Fans!...The NEW! Must Have Summer Bikini Collection Essential!
If you regularly read this blog you'll already know that I'm a MASSIVE fan of these scarves, harem pants, leggings, skirts and now fabulously theire NEW! Bikini Collection.
When I'd just about managed to work out which of the NEW! fabulous designed hand made scarves I wanted to purchase before I headed on my holiday to St. Tropez, France,-it was the Phoenix design that I managed to go for in the end in case your wondering-, I received an e-mail after I finally purchased saying about one of the designs for this NEW! Bikini Collection and even then I thought that it would be brilliant if they did a full Bikini Collection...and now officially on their website there is now a full Bikini Collection....YESSSSSSSS!
Here's the link to this NEW! Bikini Collection on their website if you haven't seen it yet:
https://www.shovava.com/product-category/swimwear/
Oh god! they all look amazing how on earth am I going to stop myself from buying all of these new bikini's before my next holiday.
Now that I think about it this is a really good time to put these fabulous designed bikini's on their website because before me and my family went on holiday bikini's were the one thing that me, my sisters and my mum were struggling to find...well we could all find them easily enough on websites but the thing we struggled to find were ones that had designs that we all liked, ones that were in colours that we liked and ones that had bikini bottoms that would be comfy once we wore them and not ones that wouldn't ruck up if you were either sitting on a sun lounger soaking up sun rays, reading a book sat on the beach or bikinis that were designed not in a styles like on the bottoms of some bikinis that we came across on some websites were in brazil styles so you just have to go with it that these bikini bottoms may not fit the way you would like even if you like the design of the bikini bottoms.
So these are great on all these fronts in my opinion, because not only are all these bikinis in this collection fabulously designed in amazing colours with amazing patterns to match so anyone of these bikinis that you choose would look fabulous on holiday in the sunshine as well as it making it very hard for anyone to choose which one are you going to buy first or which bikini would you want to wear first and are you going to wear them to the pool, the beach or to the beach club?, they all are designed including the lightly padded bikini tops with cutting-edge sustainable Italian techno-fabric "Vita Xtra Life Lycra" so they will retain shape and won't "rib".
And Shovava's website says that these bikinis are 5 times more chlorine resistant than your average swimwear fabric...so this means that the colour of the bikini won't fade after wearing this to the pool or to the beach...so this means that not only when you go on your jollydays with your mates that they not only will be green with envy and no doubt they'll asking you "where did you get that from?" you could wear these bikini's this summer, next summer or anytime or any place you want as this will still look like you've just bought it.
The only thing to do now is start deciding which pattern you like best.

Victor Miller wages war in the courts with Horror Inc. and Sean Cunningham for copyright over "Friday the 13th" and "Jason"
Gosh! It looks like it' all kicked off whilst I've been on a break from blogging.
But you may or may not know but over in the U.S.A according to Friday13thfranchise.com and The Hollywood Reporter.com's website the original scriptwriter of "Friday The 13th" films Victor Miller wants to terminate his rights to "Friday the 13th" and the "Jason" character and reclaim ownership of both of these things as is allowed in copyright law as in the 1970s U.S Congress amended copyright law by allowing authors or their heirs to terminate a grant of rights and reclaim ownership.
But here's the sticking point...
Sean Cunningham who original produced the "The Friday 13th" film in the 1980s says that as he hired Victor Miller on a work for hire basis he has no right to terminate.
And Horror Inc. as well as it's successor company that originally produced the 1980s "Friday the 13th" film Manny Company also says in court papers according to The Hollywood Reporter's website that it was Sean Cunningham who came up with the idea for a Halloween-type film, and that it was Sean Cunningham who hired the team including Victor Miller to develop the idea for this Haloween-type film and that it was Sean Cunningham who got the financing for this film as well as it being Sean Cunningham who controlled all creative decisions.
Lawyers representing the producers argue according to The Hollywood Reporter's website that as Victor Miller is still a member of the Writers Guild Of America he scripted the "Friday The 13th" film under a standard Writers Guild Of America employment agreement.
According to Bonnie Eskenazi who is representing the producers of "Friday the 13th":
"This fact is critical because the WGA negotiates with employers on behalf of its members to set the minimum terms and conditions of employment, which are reflected in its collective bargaining agreement..."
She goes on to say that:
"WGA members, like Miller do not have the right to freely negotiate the minimum terms and conditions of their employment"
So this to me sounds like the producers are claiming that as Victor Miller signed a standard employee agreement which by the sounds of it for all intents and purposes is kind of a contract as Bonnie Eskenazi says this "...provides substantial employee benefits for Miller, such as a minimum guaranteed salary, payment of residuals, sequel payments and pension benefits and health benefits..." so their arguing (the producers) that as Victor Miller signed this he wouldn't have been able to say he was going to work for hire as you can't just say your going to work creating an idea for someone who wants a Halloween-type film, put all your time, all hours of the day as well as all your energy into this project and say you want x amount of salary for this and can you give them a writing credit for this, but then not cover yourself officially by not signing a Writer's Guild Of America agreement as that would be silly to me as it was just opening himself up to being taken advantage of writing wise as Sean Cunningham, Manny Company and Horror Inc. could have said yeah they'll do all the things he's asked for but then as it wasn't officially written down they could turn around and not actually do any of these demands and deny all knowledge that he even asked for any kind of salary and writing credits...but as Victor Miller is a member of the Writer's Guild Of America he would have signed such an agreement that would have looked after him in terms of the hours he'd be working, what capacity would he be working on this, would he be getting any credit for this, how much would he be getting paid for this work, how much would he be paid if there were to be any spin offs of this depending on the first films success or if there were any sequels from this first movie and the WGA would have also negotiated what kind of pension Miller would have received therefore Miller was in no position to negotiate terms of employment.
Sounds like false advertising to me.
But as according to TheHollywoodReporter's website under copywrite law if any works are done in the scope of employment then it's the employer who's considered the statutory author. That is why also according to this website the producers are arguing that "Friday The 13th" was Sean Cunningham's vision not Victor Miller's.
But Victor Miller's lawyer Marc Toberoff argues according to TheHollywoodReporter's website that he wrote a 15 page treatment called "The Long Knight At Camp Blood" and screenplay "on spec" at his home without daily supervision. And he also argues that he worked as a freelancer over the course of two months and it was up to him when and how long he would work, as to the the Writer's Guild Of America argument that the producers are raising he was paid no employee benefits whatsoever i.e no health insurance, no paid vacation, no pension etc and he was only paid $5,569 upon delivery of a first draft and $3,713 upon delivery of a final draft screenplay, and the revisions with the exception of a new ending were 'minor'.
But here's a very important part of this puzzle Sean Cunningham, Horror Inc. and Manny Company argue that back in 1979 Victor Miller knew that Cunningham asserted ownership of "Friday The 13th" and thus he also knew he had three years to raise a claim to these rights.
So this sounds to me that the producers are saying if he knew this then why is it now that Victor Miller wants to terminate his rights to the both "Friday The 13th" and "Jason" and then reclaim ownership of these things?
But here is another sticky point to this case because the producers argue that:
"...it is undisputed that Miller did not create either the title "Friday The 13th" or the "Jason" character as a living adult monster who is the villainous killer in all of the eleven sequels. Instead, Cunningham created the title "Friday The 13th" and Miller created a "Jason" character that died as a young boy due to the negligence of his camp councillors..."
So this sounds like to me that the producers are not disputing that it wasn't Victor Miller who came up with the title "Friday The 13th" nor is it disputed that Victor Miller came up with the idea to make the "Jason" character that was used in all eleven sequels to be a living adult monster. And that it was Sean Cunningham who created the title "Friday The 13th" and that Victor Miller came up with the "Jason" character.
And these lawyers go on to argue that:
"Miller would submit drafts of his writings, and Cunningham would make changes and modifications and mark up drafts. Miller would take notes and incorporate changes..."
And it also sounds like to me that the lawyers are also trying to argue that Victor Miller would work with Sean Cunningham and he would make drafts of writings using ideas from Cunningham and or make notes and incorporate changes as and when needed.
So this sounds like to me its one hell of a mess that needs to be sorted because Victor Miller's lawyer points out that if a judge honoured the termination provisions of the copyright code then:
"...Miller will thereby recover the U.S copyright to his original film treatment and screenplay this does not prevent the continued exploitation by Plaintiffs or their licensees of prior derivative works, including the 1980s and its many sequels; it solely relates to new derivative works after the effective 2018 termination date..."
Marc Toberoff also points out that:
"...as the U.S Copyright Act has no extra-territorial application, the foreign rights to Miller's screenplay remain with Plaintiffs or their licensees..."
So according to fridaythe13thfranchise.com's website if Victor Miller were to win this case he would regain the rights and any future films that were to be distributed in the USA, but he wouldn't be able to have the rights to any other future films that were to contain the character "Jason Vorhees" and represented wearing a white hockey mask or even the title "Friday The 13th".

Their Back....The Script NEW! Song "Rain"
I was just on Facebook and guess what I just happened to stumble onto The Script's new song "Rain"
Here's the link to the official music video on YouTube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-iA-MHxa8C8
As a fan of this band I'm so excited to hear this new song from them as it feels to me like it's been aaaaaages since their last album "No Sound Without Silence".
This has a summery dance vibe to it...but it might just be me but the girl sat down in the music video that just refuses to smile or get up and dance with all the rest of the other people looks like to me now I think about it looks like she is trying too hard to look not interested not join in with everybody else that's having fun and is acting a bit like a bit of a baby having a tantrum.
I haven't been able to find anywhere any info so far on when a new album will be released so for fans of this band we'll just have to sit tight and wait and see and as soon as any news on this is released I'll put it up on here.

MUST HEAR MUSIC! Vol. II
! WARNING THIS POST MAY CONTAIN A RANT!
If you have already read yesterday's post on yesterday's must hear music you already know what's in store for this Vol. II post so, but if you haven't read yesterday's post then I apologise in advance but I just feel that these artists and this new music that I've been listening to whilst I've not been blogging NEEDS to be heard and is definitely a must for any summer holidays or any parties.
I just have to put this up on here because I'm sooooooo happy that Mads Langer has a new single out that I just had to download the minuite I heard the acoustic version of this song "Unusual" it's just soooo damn catchy and I just keep finding myself humming this all around the house even when I don't mean to be humming....damn you Mads Langer for making such catchy music! LOL
If you haven't heard either the original version of this song or the acoustic version yet you just have to stop what your doing right now and have a little listen. Here is the link on YouTube if you've not heard it yet:
I can' find a link to the actual version which is definitely making me make a sad face as I'm typing this...but I do know that this is now available on Spotify if you want to have a listen and it's also available on Amazon.
Also if you like hearing Stevie Wolf's music I've heard via the medium of his Facebook page that there is new material coming soon so if like me and are part of the wolf pack keep your eyes and ears open at all times for this....and I still am none the wiser as to why mainstream radio NEVER plays this as well as his other records from "The Mountain" EP or his other tracks like "Dammit (Blink 182 Cover), "Flights", "Nothing But A Name", "Tears In The Rain", "Dollar $igns", "Bold", "Forest Fires", "Getting Through" and "Alone +Alive".
Also now I've just thought about it Kaleo's A/B album you just have to listen to, I've been playing the hell out of this lately and I still don't understand how their song "Way Down We Go" was everywhere, it was even on the Boots advert for a No. 7 product and even though they're touring like crazy around Europe at the moment makes me feel even more infuriated that none of these awesome tracks are getting any airplay!
If you haven't heard "Way Down We Go" here is the YouTube link for you to have a little gander at:
I'm loving their album at the moment "No Good" that I saw the other day on their Facebook page sounded amaaaaaazing live performed for the fashion brand Allsaints,-the very definition of cool in my opinion these clothes look and I'm not just saying that because I own a leather jacket from this fashion brand as well as because I love this brand-, and I'm also loving "Glass House" this could just be me but everytime I hear this song it always makes me feel like the music video should have a Guy Ritchie "Snatch"/ "Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" style kind of chase and having to jump down some kind of stairs to avoid the police chasing them.
Here is a YouTube link if you want to take a gander if you haven't heard this and still aren't convinced how good the album is then take a little listen of this:
Here is also a link to "No Good" if you haven't heard this:
Also in the same bluesy sounding/folk sounding vein as this why not have a listen to Katie Buchanan's new album "Who We Are When We Are Standing" I'm loving her song "Floating" off this album.
But I just have to put up on here one of my favourite band's new one off single "Dig Down":
It might just be me but the introduction to this new single makes me think of their other single "Madness", and this only gets me wanting to listen on YouTube to their other singles and this just reminds me how much I love this band.
Anyhew...this really makes it hard for me to get any work done as I'm just constantly listening to either this or one of their other singles. It also get's me really annoyed how this isn't being played either on mainstream radio because of how huge a band Muse are but just thinking about it now this is probably the reason why "Dig Down" isn't being played on the radio.
Now I've heard this single I really want to know when the album's coming out...but I guess like all the other millions of Muse fans I'll just have to wait for this just like I'll have to wait for when the new album of 30 seconds to mars that they have been on tour with this June, July and August with along with PVRIS will be released...oh well!
If you haven't heard this song yet,-why the hell not-, here is the link on YouTube for you to have a gander at:
I do realise that I've gone on for two blog posts ranting about how Radio 1 and other mainstream radio is shit and they don't really play any new and upcoming artists and I don't really think I need to keep going on about the millions of artists that are out there that don't get any airplay like Martin Luke Brown and his new single "Yellow" or any of his other amazing singles like " Scars on Scars", "Knife Edge", "Nostalgia", "Wasted Youth ft. Sody", "Shadow and Light", "Roses" and his "Take Out Of Me" EP. Or the actor Ansel Elgort's singles that are really perfect for any party playlist this summer like "Thief", "You Can Count On Me", "Home Alone" and "All I Think About Is You".
Also have a little listen to MB13 BEATS P I've been listening to a few of his tunes on his Soundcloud page recently and I have to say that these all sound perfect to play at any party this summer.

NEW! MUST HEAR MUSIC! Vol I
! WARNING THIS POST MAY CONTAIN A RANT!
God it feels like I've not posted anything on this blog for aaaaaaaaaages and I apologise for this but I just felt I had to post this as it made me so angry and annoyed that whilst I've been away there has been some amaaaaaazing music that I've heard on all platforms like YouTube, Soundcloud, Spotify, Amazon etc. and this isn't being played on the 'all for introducing new and up and coming talent' Radio 1 where these artists as well as new songs by already signed artists that have already have their songs played thus making me think that Radio 1 are just more interested in playing popular shit music like Liam Payne "Strip That Down", which of course gets a high positon in the charts because they play it every five minutes, and if you watch the music video Liam Payne even does a stupid little hand movement like Cheryl Cole does in her "Fight For This Love" music video, that or Little Mix' "Power" which has a ridonculous music video and is in my opinion just them shouting.
So this just makes me think that Radio 1 are only interested in promoting artists that they are paid to promote and the other day I heard an artist doing a Live Lounge and the radio presenter said that they absolutely loved their song and it's a big favourite on there show and I've never heard it being played except when the actual artist was there promoting the record...making me think that Radio 1 are just liers!
Well I did warn you beforehand that this post may contain a rant.
Anyhew....I've been listening a lot recently to Macklemore and Ryan Lewis ft. Skylar Grey's new song "Glorious" and I saw yesterday the official music video on YouTube and I couldn't stop going "Aw!" to this as it's so sweet.
Here's the link to have a little gander at it if you haven't already seen it:
This is really catchy even just thinking about this song now I've got the bit that Skylar Grey sings in this song stuck in my head. Just thinking about it now whilst I'm typing this Skylar Grey's got an amazing sound I don't know why this or any of her songs aren't being played on mainstream Radio as she's already been on the soundtrack of "Suicide Squad" and "Fast and Furious 7",- and if your like me and want to know what song did she sing in either of those films she sang in "Fast and Furious 7" "I Will Return" the song that gets played when Paul Walker's character Brian O'Conner is on the phone to Jordana Brewster's character Mia Toretto when she and her son Jack have been sent away to stay at a friends house in the Dominican Republic so their safe after a bomb blast at the Toretto house by Deckard Shaw, and Brian O'Conner tells her on the phone that if she doesn't hear from him in the next 24hrs then she should just take their son and move on with their lives but she says that he shouldn't talk like that as she is expecting another baby and that he should just come home to them and that he should tell her something else and he says that she should give their son a kiss for him. And if you are wondering what song she sings on the soundtrack of "Suicide Squad" it's the song "Wreak Havoc"-.
It just make me feel like dancing along to it and now I really wish there was a new album coming out as this sounds just as good as all the other Macklemore and Ryan Lewis songs off their albums.
Also I am a HUUUUGE fan of LMFAO and I couldn't believe when I was on YouTube that Redfoo had already released a couple of tracks I thought for sure listening to this that with how popular this band was back in the day that the press would get this or that mainstream radio would be playing this...and it sounds like the vibe of LMFAO has been continued thankfully and I bet this album would sound really good at a house party or it would seem ideal to play now that it's supposedly the summer.
Here is the YouTube link to hear "New Thang" in case you haven't heard this song yet:
This definitely is one to get you up dancing to.
Also if you haven't heard "Let's Get Ridiculous" here is the YouTube link to have a little gander at it:
This is the YouTube link to Redfoo's "Where The Sun Goes" in case you haven't heard this:
And here is the YouTube link to Redfoo's newest song "Sock It To Ya":
In my opinion this doesn't sound as good as "New Thang" or "Let's Get Ridiculous" it still does sound like you want to dance along to it.
And here is the YouTube link to "Brand New Day":
And now that I've just been listening to recently uploaded music it's just popped up on YouTube OneRepublic "No Vacancy" and "Truth Turn To Power" both of these didn't get very much radio play and I think they should have because in my opinion "No Vacancy" sounds like it's perfect to play now it's summer time and it definitely gets you wanting to dance along to...now that I think about it "Truth To Power" sounds like at the beginning of the song like the beginning of Bon Iver's "Skinny Love" and even though it does sound melancholic it does make me want to just sit for a bit after the song has finished and think "wow! that sounded epic".
Here is the link to "Truth To Power" on YouTube if you haven't heard this:

Say What! 007 Needs a NEW studio to distribute James Bond films
I was reading this the other day on The New York Times website and I couldn't believe it...not another issue to throw in amongst the monthly updated names thrown into the hat by the papers on who will play the next James Bond after Daniel Craig commented about how he'd rather slit his own wrists if you asked him if he would play the character again he did do a stage production of "Othello" that was produced by Barbara Broccoli and according to "sources" this got rave reviews by critics and these same "sources" say that talks with Daniel Craig about possibly returning to play the character James Bond are now going in the right direction.
So sorry to Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, Damien Lewis, James Norton, Aiden Turner and the other actors names who will undoubtedly find their way into this hat but there seems to be an even bigger problem with the James Bond franchise that needs to be sorted out even before you start asking who will be the next Bond...which film studio will be marketing and distributing the future 007 film?
According to this article on The New York Time' website Sony Pictures which has had a contract to market and distribute the films thus far this contract will expire in 2015,- I do realise that the year is 2017 and that I'm really late to this party but this issue still doesn't seem to have been resolved,-.
And according to articles on The New York Time's website and on Forbe's website the film studios that are vying for these rights are: Sony, Warner Bros., 20th Century Fox, Universal Studios and a relatively new to the fray Annapurna which according to this same article on The New York Time's website is an ambitious upstart financed and led by Oracle heiress Megan Ellison. Unfortunately this looks like the deal that's being offered up at the moment is to only have the rights to distribute one film but its also thought by this article on Forbe's website that this deal will probably be similar to the deal that Sony had which according to the article on The New York Time's website was Sony paid 50% of the production cost on "Spectre",-this was around $250million after accounting for government incentives-, and they Sony only received 25% certain profits once costs were recoup.
Sony also had to shoulder tens of millions of dollars in marketing and had to give MGM a piece of the profits from non-Bond films in Sony's pipeline including that of "22 Jump Street".
Harsh!
So according to this same article on The New York Time's website the only reason that these studios would want these rights is for bragging rights.
But this same New York Time's article it is said that as MGM is owned by private equity firms including Anchorage Capital Partners wants to keep its options open as it considers a sale or an open offering, and also interestingly in this same article it states that Annapurna has signed as of last month an unrelated distribution deal with MGM...so this could reading between the lines could suggest that Annapurna are a lot closer than these other studios to getting these distribution rights but they'd still have to impress both Barbara Broccoli and her older half brother Michael G. Wilson who actually have the rights and have always been involved with the making of these James Bond movies right from the start.
There's no word yet on who's won this competition for the distribution rights so we'll just have to wait and see but Bond fans shouldn't feel too anxious about this as Forbes thinks that this next film won't be released until 2019.

The NEW! Indiana Jones movie pushed back to 2020
I've had this news on my to blog list for a couple of days now but with all other NEW! and exciting things coming out in the last few days to do with music as well as film news I've not known what to post first...but as this has been on the list longest I've just thought I'd post this first.
Anyhew...you may already or not already know but according to The Hollywood Reporter Steven Spielberg will direct a fifth instalment of Indiana Jones and will star Harrison Ford along with the now president of Lucasfilm Kathleen Kennedy and her husband Frank Marshall.
According to Kathleen Kennedy during and interview with The Hollywood Reporter last year she said that:
" We're all trying to figure out when the right time to step back in. Harrison really wants to do it, Steven really wants to do it. We've kicked around a couple of story ideas, but beyond that, I don't know yet. I think there will be one, we'll certainly move forward with Indy. But right now, everybody just focused on "Star Wars"".
Well I just hope that after "Indiana Jones and The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull" that this has a damn good story to it as I really still don't get what the hell was going on in that film and I don't think the film makers knew either what was going on...but what I did get was that Shia LaBeof was suppose to be Indiana's son that he had with Marie from "Indiana Jones and The Raiders Of The Lost Ark" that he didn't know about, and that Cate Blanchett was a Russian army captain who was after an alien crystal skull as the alien was part of the first aliens that knew everything about everything and put all their knowledge into this crystal skull so they could leave Earth and come back when the time was right and as she wanted to know everything so as to gain power she died as it was too much for her...but I'm not really sure so don't quote me on this and somewhere in the middle Ray Winston popped up don't really know why though.
But surprisingly this because of an agreement being reached between Disney and Paramount which gives Disney control over all future films and because Disney bought LucasFilm this fifth Indiana Jones movie will be the first film without George Lucas' participation, and Paramount will retain the right to the first four films and will receive financial participation on any future films that are produced and released so says The Hollywood Reporter.
And according to Indiana Jones' 5 IMDb.com's page the new release date for this has been pencilled in for in the USA anyway 10th July 2020.
I just hope that all concerned are up to the challenge of making this fifth instalment and not more up for their zimmer frames!
