Another Nicholas Sparks film coming over the horizon

We all know that Nicholas Sparks book 'The Notebook' from the film that was a huge hit, but now I hear that Relativity Media have now got the rights to make another book of his 'Safe Haven' into a film but it has a catch...develope the script for this within 9 months or the option goes back to Sparks and he gets to keep the original payment (for the rights). I think this is a sweet deal that Sparks has got himself as I imagine that Relativity Media must have been falling over themselves in order to get these rights as other Sparks texts that have made it to films have been huge hits such as 'The Notebook' and 'Dear John'.

Relativity Media are said to want Lasse Hallstrom to direct this adaption of the book and according to Deadline 'a deal is likely to happen quickly' but I wouldn't quote me on this as we have seen previously from other film being drawn up to go onto the cinema screen having all grand plans of who will star and who will direct then at the last minuite all has to be put back as the star of the show or the director walks away...not naming names but Keanu Reeves comes to mind with an upcoming Anime film that had been planned to go to film with him as the star but then he pulled out for some mysterious reason.

The directors that Lasse worked with on his hit 'Dear John' Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey will work with Lasse again on this project. Thankfully a script was developed within this 9 months by Dana Stevens and these producers as well as Ryan Kavanaugh (who is also producing) is now looking for a cast so as to start shooting this film in the autumn. It's thought that this filmv will star Ryan Reynolds and Kristen Stewart, this story will be:

A young woman in North Carolina whose family issues make her determined not to make any personal connections. But when she’s drawn into two reluctant relationships, she struggles with a dark secret from her past.
