3rd Place Victory

I have just started following this band on twitter and I really like 'Backseat Sarah'. I think that they are really worth listening to. Their album is also out for free download at the moment but for the moment here is their 'BackSeat Sarah'.

I think these could be really liked or popular if they were requested on Radio 1. They are also from Kent, which is nice and under my current circumstances this song puts me in a really good mood. I think I will make it my mission to get them heard on Radio 1. With hearing this band it is a really good day for me as I have just recieved from HMV 'Fenech-Solars' ' album and some dvds which have put me in a better mood than I have been over the past couple of days.

If like me you like the sound of this band then you should know that they have a facebook page. Also, the merchandise tops are really good designs I think.

Twelve

I have the movie trailer for this movie somewhere on this blog but I can't find it at present so I'll just have to put this in a new blogpost. The story behind this is not as confusing as I first thought as it is:

A New York drug dealer's life is turned upside down when his cousin is murdered and his best friend is arrested for his murder, but I still can't get my head around how the guy that dies is Chase Crawford and the guy that goes round looking for who actually did it still is Chase Crawford.

Just out of interest I have just found the release date for 'Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part I'. This is November 18th. Sadly, this is two days away from my birthday unlike the last movie which was on my birthday so I got to see that as a birthday present which was very nice as I went with my sisters...but I'll still go to see it though mainly because I have read the books and I want to see how they have done all of what goes on in the books on the big screen.

I know this probably sounds really geeky, but I bet all the action is going to amazing, but I don't care because I might be a little geeky but I'm willing to admit this freely and without shame!

The Adventures of TinTin:The Secret of the Unicorn

Unfortunatly I have been unable to get a trailor for this but there are picture stills of the movie:

This is from the movie, sorry if it looks a bit blurry but I just wanted to get one picture to show you what to expect with this film. The film is going to be in 3D and the release date for this film is 23rd October. This film I have heard a lot about but it still has not got that much buzz about it like other up coming like: 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2' or when the next Twilight Breaking Dawn, which by the way is going to be done in 2 parts as if you are like me and have read the books then you'll understand that it has to be in 2 Parts as the book is huge.

Anyhew... this 3D film will have in it: Thomas Sangster (You'll recognise him from 'Love Actually'. He was the child of Liam Neeson who was in love with the American girl from his school that played the drums so as to be near her).

3D expert Andy Serkis, Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot), Daniel Craig, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Tobey Jones (He was in the David Suchet modern adaption of the Murder on the Orient Express as the guy who gets killed at the start), McKenzie Crook and Gad Elmaleh.

Win Win

Win Win looks quite funny to me. I think the idea of making this film based around high school wrestling and how both of these characters help out each other is nice as the story.

I think it's a very different comedy to that of others I've seen and loved like 'How to loose friends and alienate people'. Now many people will have hate this but I saw this and loved all the awquadness in the film. But I do have to admit that I love his comedies, my favourite has to be 'Shaun of the Dead'.

I think it will do really well when it actually comes out. Just found that this film is out on May 20th. So, I hope you will go to see this film or just to see what the films all about.

The Hangover 2 trailer is here. I went to saw the first Hangover and I have to say that it wasn't very good or funny, but this one does look like there are some funny moments but the story is exactly the same. WHAT IS THE POINT IN THAT!

I think that it would be better if they came up with a new story. I think...well it looks like the writers of the movie have thought that if they set the film in a new location then it'll be a new kind of film. But it does look like a rehash of the old film, but with little links back to the other film for example: the tatoo that the dentist gets is similiar to the one that the boxer has and instead of a tiger there's a monkey in it.

I'm sorry if I am joy killing anyone who likes these films but I don't like them and I won't be seeing this when it is released on May 27th 2011.

TT3D:Closer to The Edge

TT3D: Closer To The Edge is a movie about the famous Isle Of Man motorbike race. This looks awesome to me, but I do like a loto of 'petrol-head' films. The racer that the film is about you will recorgnise from the most recent series of 'Jimmy Builds a Barge', I think that's what the show was called as it had this motorbike racer in it trying to build a barge boad that he could live on making things as he said on one occasion in one of the episodes of the show that he just is fascinated by how things work.

I saw this trailer before I uploaded it from YouTube and I have to say I really liked how they had managed to get the shots they got as they look fantastic close up but the accidents that happend on the racetrack look really bad, they must be real adrenaline junkies.

Wake Wood

This new horror film is a little weird in it's story as it's about a couple who have to come to terms with the loss of their only daughter who is viciously mauled to death by a dog. So her parents move from the city to a remote Irish village-Wake Wood-.

Booth soon become friends of the villagers after Patrick takes over the local vetanerial practise and Louise takes a job in the local chemist. Soon they discover that the members of Wake Wood practise an old pagan ritual that they use to ease the pain and suffering that's involved with the loss of a loved one.

The rirtual has strict rules that you have to follow as well as it enabling you to say a final goodbye to their dead loved one before they make their final journey to the afterlife. The rules also involve the deased coming back from the dead for only 3 days and within 1 year of them dying. And if the rules get broken then there is a terrible price to be paid.

Sounds good to me. David Keating will be directing from a script by the producer Brenden McCarthy and Verigo Films will be releasing this rated 18 film in March 25th of this year and it will later go to DVD on the 28th of the same month.

Tracker film starring Ray Winstone....as a South African

The other day I was listening to Talk Sport Radio when I was in the car with the parents and Ray Winstone was on the Radio talking about his new film. I didn't realise till today when I was looking on Empire Magazine's website at the upcoming movie Posters page that Ray Winstone's new film is 'Tracker'. Here he plays a South African with- by my standards an alright South African accent-.

I thought when Ray was on the Radio talking about this that he was going to have a really bad accent as he has such a thick cockney accent so my first thought was that it was bad casting on the film makers part to cast a cockney as a South African, at least if your going to make a film about a man who was in the Boer War cast a South African to do the job.

Anyhew...the story is that it is 1903 who is a guerilla survivor of the South African  Boer War, and he ends up in the hands of colonel New Zealand and is promised a big bouty to capture a Maouri seafarer Karemea who has been accused of killing a British soldier.

As you can imagine this becomes a not so easy task as Kareama keeps escaping and being recapture and both strike up a bond where they learn they have more in common than they first thought. This film is out on April 29th.

Warrior

This movie has already had a lot of talk about it as this is the movie about UFC (Ultimate Figthting Champion). This film will surerly show the actor Tom Hardy at his best as he is really on a role lately just having won the BAFTA last year for best rising star....even though he wasn't there to collect this.

If you don't know who Tom Hardy is or haven't a clue what sort of films he's been in, then here is a list:

Bronson
Inception
he'll be in the new Batman: The Dark Knight Rises next year
ITV1's adaption of Wuthering Heights

I have found this trailor of the film on Youtube, so feel free to perruse it and see what you think:

This film is out September 23rd. I have just looked at this and it looks really good to me, but I also noticed whie I was watching it that the guy from Kinky Boots is in it. I think this might be a move into serious acting for him. LOL!

Dashboard Confessional

I heard this song ages before I heard it again on the end credits to the most stupidest film I've ever seen apart from the infamous 'Racing Stripes' with Hayden Panitere where she helps a zebra to live his dream of becoming a  racing horse.

You can tell that did well at the box office. LOL! I thought I wouldn't be so hung up on finding out who sung this song, but I am and I had to find out and now I've found out. It's Dashboard Confessional-stolen.

Here is a clip for it:

I know this song is lame but I just wanted to put this up on the blog so that I wouldn't forget it as my mind these days is like a sieve and it's purely for if I want to listen to it anytime, so if you don't like it then I don't mind because you know now why it's in the blog.

Regina Spekter Fidelity

I heard this song ages ago by Regina Spekter and I thought that this video was good fun but I also loved the song

Unfortunatly I can't get the official video but this let's you listen to the song and it still sounds great. I hope you like it as much as me.

Lincoln Vampire Hunter

More news from this movie. Apparently the Steven Spielberg film has been passed up by Liam Neeson. He has been reported as saying that he feels that he is too old to play the role of Abraham Lincoln. However this film has been said by Empire Magazine as not really using historical fact so they guess that Neeson could try out if he wanted.

Screen tests for the part of Lincoln get underway but there are a very long list of actors who are trying out for this role such asw:

Timothy Olyphant
Adrian Brody
Benjamin Walker
Andrew Jackson
Oliver Jackson Cohan
James D'Arcy

This film has been initially set to release in December 2012. This film will also be released in 3D.

New Swinging with the Finkles

This has Mandy Moore and Martin Freeman as the Finckles. Ellie and Alvin are a London couple whose relationship that is fast going down the toilet, but when their friends marriage collapses it weirdly inspires them to do 'swinging'.

This film has been adapted by from the director Jonathan Newman's short firlm 'Sex with the Finkles' and it will be out on June 17th.

Also out around this time on June 3rd is the new British thriller 'Screwed'. This story features James D'Arcy who is a soldier that has returned from Iraq but has just taken up a new job as a prison guard, here he discovers their lies corruption among the guards at the prison but also among the prisoners themselves.

Other cast members include: Noel Clarke, Jamie Foreman, Katie McGowan, Ray Panthaki, Doug Allen and Frank Harper.

This film is based on the semi-autobiographical book of Ronnie Thompson, but this will be directed by Reg Traviss.

Paramount's Fun Size

Paramount Pictures is backing the infamous Josh Schwarz's directorial debut 'Fun Size'. In case you don't recorgnise Josh's name then why on earth not as he was the person that brought to our shores the unforgettable 'OC' and the now hit TV show 'Gossip Girl' as well as 'Chuck'.

This film is based on Halloween trick or treat tradition, so logically the film will be released on or near Halloween. The story to this is that a girl has to begrudgingly take her younger brother out for trick or treating but then she looses him and starts on a madcap dash to find him.

Victoria Justice will play the sister and Thomas Mann will play the sort of love interst for her but the guessing game is still around for who will play the brother.

Shooting starts later this year in Minassota.

Jesse Eisenberg

Jesse's new film '30 Seconds or Less' sees him reunited with the director of ZombieLand Ruben Fleischer. This film is hard to describe without making it sound like a terrorist comedy. God! that even sounds wrong. I hardly think you'll get a lot of laughs from this subject.

But thank goodness that Danny McBride is in it as I know I can trust him to make me laugh.

The story behind this movie is that Jesse Eisenberg is a pizza delivery boy who runs afoul of two criminals (these are Danny McBride and Nick Swordsman), they think that it would be a genious plan if they kidnap the pizza boy and strap a bomb to him then tell him to rob a bank within a certain timeframe.

However, to get through this situation, he goes to his best frirnds place but as these two aren't on talking terms so it's hardly suprising when Chet (Aziz Ansari) isn't happy that he has walked into the school where Chet works with the bomb strapped to him.

Here is a trailer for it:

The release date is 23rd of September.

Josh Brolin

Ruben Fleischer is directing Warner Bros. backed film 'Gangster Squad'. This was annoced at the end of last month, and at this same time Warner Bros. started negotiations for Sean Penn to play the lead role in this film but after going back and forth a half a dozen times and at one point actually backing out of the movie.

But then the negotiations started up again soon after he walked away from it, then Warner Bros. then offered which both parties agreed to, so now he's locked in to play the lead role of Mickey Cohen who is a gangster. Also Ryan Gosling is also locked in to play part of the LAPD cops that were formed to crack down on Cohan and other criminals that were infiltrating 1940's LA.

This film 'Gangster Squad' is based on Paul Lieberman's articals that were in the LA Times that tracked the local police's attempts to crack down on the city's rising crime and corruption. This 'Gangster Squad' was reportedly an elite group of police that were highly charged and ready to break a few skulls.

Now, Warner Bros. along with the director Fleischer want Josh Brolin to be in the movie, but there's no news on what role in the film he will have as he is currently shooting the new 'Men In Black III' for Sony.

This film will be released through Lin Pictures and Langley Park, this is Dan Lin and Kevin McCormack's production companies. The script for this film will be written by Will Beall

Audio Bully's Cornetto Enigma song

After seeing the new Cornetto Enigma advert I was hooked with the song that is used in it. So I went in persuit of it and I had trauled through Youtube for many weeks resulting in nothing. But now I have found it.

The song is 'Only Man' by 'Audio Bully's '. Here's the video, see what you think.

The Cinimatic Pairing in Heavan is back...

Jon Travolta and his partner in crime have been confirmed to be in Oliver Stones' new film 'Savages'. This film has been adapted from Dan Winslow's drug novel of that of the same name.

Aaron Johnson has already been confirmed to be in the movie as ex-Navy Seal Chon, also confirmed is Taylor Kitsch as Ben. Both of these two characters are friends and they grow the best pot from their home base, they spend most of their time stoned with O who has a thing for both of these pot heads. But then Salma Hayeks' mexican cartel boss sends one of her enforcers Lando (Benicio del Toro) to demand that they work for her.

However, they refuse so the cartel kidnaps O (Blake Lively), this then leads the pot growers to hatch a plan to pay her ransom by ripping off the drug loads of the mexican cartel's.

Blake Lively is just one of the new names that have popped up to appear in this movie. Jon Travolter will be playing the role of Dennis the burned out Drug Enforcement Agency operative, and Uma will play the mother of O-Paqu.

This is going to start shooting in June. The script for this film adaption will be done by Winslow and Shane Salerno. However, there are other roles that are yet to be cast.

Tom Cruise

Warner Bros. are going to spend $2million to back a film that has got no title at the moment but it will be scripted by the same guy who has already scripted the wonderful children's tale's 'Tangled' and 'Cars 1 and 2',- Dan Fogleman-.

This film will see Tom Cruise as a politician who gets himself caught up in an affair and as a result of this his life is in ruins. So, to let this all settle down he goes back to his hometowen to mend broken relationships, see old freinds and confront old demons.

The development of this film should be made easier as at the moment Tom Cruise is already starring in a lower budgeted film in a similiar role to the one he will play in this. Also, the director for this film has another film that he has scripted that will out be this summer that he has done for Warner Bros. 'Crazy Stupid Love', this will star Steve Carrel (Brick from Anchorman) and Ryan Gosling.

Inclings of new Bourne Legacy film

Empire Magazine has just reported that Universal Studios have formally offered Jeremy Renner (from 'The Hurt Locker') the lead role in the new 'Bourne:Legacy' film that is going to be a spin off from the original Bourne films.

In this film Renner will supposedly play a lead role from a covert government organization that is supposedly even more dangerous than the Treadstone project was. He is reported to want to sign quickly onto this project which as Deadline.com says will start productions in September.

Already Jeremy will be playing a similar role to this in the new 'Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol', and he will play Hansal alongside Jemma Arteton in the Hansal and Gretal film where both these childhood characters will be hunting witches. He'll also have a cameo role in Thor as 'HawkEye' and he'll also be in the new 'Avenngers' film.

Jeremy was picked from the long list of other actors that were thought of to play the role but as you can now see Jeremy Renner won. Director Tony Guilroy along with Universal Studios picked Renner as they have been reported as saying that Jeremy Renner is at the similar sort of point in his acting career that Matt Damon was at when he was picked up and became even more infamous as an actor by being in the 'Bourne' series.

By me this is a pretty nice comment to say of the way Jeremy Renner's career has gone really well since he was in the 'Hurt Locker'.

IamRogue on Twitter has just informed me

Yesterday I was reading on IamRogue's offcial twitter page that there is some movies coming out that I haven't heard any news about from the old faithful Empire Magazine where I usually get all my upcoming movie news from so I'll see if I can't find the trailors on Youtube.

This first trailor is 'Terri', this looks like it's going to be funny and the idea of constantly going around wearing your pj's isn't a bad idea. I think that I do have to put my hand up and say that there is a big percentage of me that lives in my pj's and it is true that why would you wear anything else, there sooooooo comfortable! Come to think about it it might give people ideas to go and have an actual day wearing your pj's and not just for charity. I mean I can't count all the times I'd say to my friends at school. that 'I feel like today I should've had a douuvet day'. The other cast members are: Jacob Wysoki and John C. Reilly who you'll probably recognise from 'Tallenger Nights' fame.

The second trailer is 'Abduction', this film stars Taylor Lautner that you'll no doubtedly recognise from 'Twilight' fame. However, the story behind this is that Taylor finds a picture of himself on a missing persons website. As you can probably see from the trailer the picture that he sees of himself looks like to me that it has been done by a child that was let loose on Fotoshop as the picture doesn't look anything like him. Other cast members are: Sigourney Weaver, Jason Isaacs, Mario Bello, Alfred Molina and Michael Nyqvist as well as the Lilly Collins who's also been cast in the new Snow White film.

The last film trailer that I've found on Youtube was 'The Help'. This film is a comedy that is based in 1960's Misissipi. The leading lady in the film is Emma Stone who was in 'Easy A'. Her character is a fresh faced college graduate, Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer. Both of these are a domestic worker and her best friend. All three of these characters collaborate on a literrary project that becomes a refutation of racial injustice in a rapidly changing culture. The release date for this movie is 12th of August.

New Fright Night

Collin Farrell will play the vampire Jeff Danbridge in the remake of Tom Holland's '80's classic 'Fright Night'. In case you aren't like me who knows the story behind this classic, then I'll tell you the score:

Charly Brewster who lives in a small toen in America starts to suspect his new neigbour Jeff of being a d vampire. Amy his gorlfriend comes along for the ride and soon becomes the object of Jeff's bloodsucking desires as well as Charly's evil best friend Eds' bloodsucking desire (this is because at the latter part of the film Ed turns into a werewolf).

England's David Tennant also stars as the 'vampire slayer/ magician' Peter Vincent who Charly gets to kill Jeff. This film is hopefully going to be out September 2nd.

See if this matches up to Tom Holland's classic original.

Kate Beckinsale in the remake of 'Total Recall'

Len Wiseman will be directing the new remake of this film and has cast his wife Kate Beckinsale who he met on while filming the Underworld franchise of films.

He has cast her as Lori who Sharon Stone played in the original film. Lori is married to Douglas Quaid who will be played by Collin Farrell, a worker in a factory for the nation of Euromerica who after he has a holiday memory implanted starts to believe that he is a spy for the rival nation of New Shanghai. But once he starts to peel away the layers, he discovers he is part of a big conspiracy that was engineered by Euromerica's ex-leader Vilos Cohaagen (Brian Cranston). Kate's character also turns out to be more than we first assume.

Shooting for this starts in May and hopefully will be released in August 20th.

The Change-UP

This film is all about the body swap. Cue lots of hilarious jokes.

Jason Bateman and Ryan Reynolds star as the main characters. Both are friends that are envious of each other's lives. Jason plays a settled, happily married but harried father of two that obviously envies Mitch (Reynold's) playboy lifestyle. However, Mitch at the same time wants to settle down. So, one night are looking into a fountain after they've had one too many, and they make a wish that they've got each other's lives.

Not only does this have two great actors as the main characters but it also includes Olivia Wilde, Leslie Mann, Alan Arkin plus Wedding Crasher's David Dobkin. The Script will also be written Jon Lucas and Scott Moore who wrote the script 'The Hangover'

This will be out on August 5th.

See if this film is as hilarious as it has been anticipated as.

Robert Zemeckis

After his try at animated family fun comedy 'Mars Needs Mom's ', Robert Zemeickis is going back the to what he does best-live action filmaking.

He is in talks at the moment with Paramount to direct a new drama 'Flight'. This drama will star Denzel Washington as a pilot who has spiralled into drugs and alcohol addiction and wants to save his life from this spiral. However, when a plane that he's on develops a serious mechanical failure he has to step up to the mark and save the plane and it's passenger's. However, when the Federal Aviation Authority investigates the failure all the evidence points to his drug use. But the Authority has to sweeps this under the rug so as to help him with his recovery.

Spy Kids 4

Robert Rodriguez who has had some time away from this franchise is back, and he has cast Jessica Alba who plays 'Marissa Cortez Wilson'. She has a seemingly perfect marriage to Wilbur (Joel McHale). In this Alba not only has to raise her kids but the two step children of Wilbur, Cecil and Rebecca (Rowan Blanchard and Maison Cook). Both of these aren't best pleased that Alba is their mother.

But when Jeremy Piven's character the evil Timekeeper threatens to take over the world, Wilbur is called back from retirement and back into service as a spy. Juni and Carmel are also called in to give Cecil and Rebecca who have to join forces to help their parents take him down. And from this you can probably gaver that the Spy Kids programme gets relaunched.

Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World will be out on August 19

Russel Brand's new film

Russel Brand, Mary J Blige, Alec Baldwin and Paul Giamatti will star alongside Catherine-Zeta-Jones in Adam Shankman’s film adaptation of ‘80s-set musical Rock of Ages.

The original story story for this is: Julianne Hough will play the small town girl who turns up in LA to follow her dreams but instead nearly gets swallowed up by it. She then meets wannabe rocker Drew (Diego Gonzalez Boneta), and also has a dalliance with Tom Cruis's character the over the top muso Stace Jaxx. The cast of this will belt out the hair rawk tunes which will be the medium in which her story and that of the club that she ends at will be told.

Catherine's character will be specifically created by the director and the writers of this film adaption,. Her character will be made as a direct result of how good she was in Chicago. This will start shooting next month in Miami.

Fast and Furious 6

Chris Morgan the writer for the Furious franchise has signed a two year first look deal with Universal Studios production pact to work on Fast and Furious 6.

He will work on this alongside the regular director for these films Justin Lin. He will be writing this along other upcoming projects of Chris's. This is not a reality yet, but shooting for this film will only start to happen once the box office reviews have come in. Apparently there will be a bonus scene during the credits of this latest film.

Patrick Warburton to star in Ted

Patrick Warburton is to star in Seth McFarlaine's Ted.

He wil play a sexually confused co-worker of Marky Mark Walberg's 'John' at Enterprise Car Rentals which is their place of business. However, Ted the childhood teddy bear of John causes more problems for John as he came to life after his wish was granted. Ted causes more problems as he is a slacker than gets in the way of John's relationship with Mila Kunis (Jackie from That '70's show).

Joining this cast is: McFarlaine himself as he will voice Ted, Giovanni Ribisi and Joel McHale. At the moment this film is being shot but the film is supposedly going to be released next summer.

Bridesmaids

This film I have heard was at the start staring Catherine Heigl, but this has been recast.

Let me go back, director Paul Feig is now going to release his comedy 'Bridesmaids'. Even the name of this film suggests that it's not going to be anything special. I read about this film from Empire Magazine a month ago that Catherine Heigl would be taking the main role for this film but it looks like she has been recast.

The main role has gone to the co-writer of this film: Kristen Wiig. Her character Annie finds her life unraveling when she is asked by her best friend Maya Rudolph a.k.a Lillian to be her maid of honor. But the twist to this film is that Annie has to compete to be the one to sort out the various wedding items. These other people she has to compete against all have colourful personalities and she realises that she starts to bond with these other women and where she has been going wrong in her life.

Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Emily Kemper.

See if you agree with me whether this film is as stupid as 'Maid of Honour'.

Hunger Games to be on the big screen

Leven Rambin who was the creator of so many TV shows including Private Practice, One Tree Hill, The Sarah Connor Chronicles and CSI: Miami is to make her first big step into cinemas with 'The Hunger Games'.

Lionsgate who are backing this film have been hitting their Facebook page and drip feeding all who have been waiting for any sort of info on this film. However Gary Ross has already filled his three main lead roles these are: Jennifer Lawrenson, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth. However, Ross is still trying to fill the other roles for the film.

'Marvel' has already been cast aswell, he will be played by Jack Quaid, (yes, there is some relation to Dennis Quaid as he is the son of Dennis Quai and Meg Ryan). Also, the characters Tresh and Rue have also been cast. Thresh will be played by Dayo Okeniyi, and Rue will be played by Amandla Stenberg.

If you haven't read the blog (the bit at the back of the book that's wriiten by Susanna Collins when I've been in a bookstore), then the story for the film is: the kids in the book are selected from a dystopiian future America government to battle it out in gladiator style games that are televised across the country to keep the population from revolting.

Also just out, Lionsgate have just announced who will play the main character of 'Prim'. This has gone to newcomer Willow Shields. In the book Primrose is one of these selected children from each of the 12 districts, but in order to spare her life her older sister Katniss Everdeen (Lawrence's character) takes her place. Elizabeth Banks is also in talks to play Katniss's handler, this film will shortly start shooting and will hopefully be released on March 23rd next year.

Love Like Poison film

The French have done it again, last year at the Cannes Film Festival the film 'Love Like Poison' was highly liked by the judges and on May 13 it will be heading to our shores.

This film tells the story of Anna, she is a Catholic school student who discovers when she comes home for the holidays that her father has left. And her mother has been seeking consolation in the company of the local priest. Anna then strikes up a friendship with a local boy Pierre and forms a bond with her grandad.

This title for the film was original riff to a Serg Gainsborough song which therefore tells you if you have read some of Gainsborough poems/songs you'll know that they aren't that happy but more sad and realistic. Therefore you will be able to tell from this that this film will show the kind of emotions that Anna will have to go through in the film-pain and euphoria-.

Here is a trailor for this film, see what you think but like I always say this on the down low, on the qt and very hush hush. So keep this under your hat.

The News we've all being dying to hear

American Pie is back for a American Pie Reunion is coming and Chris Klein from the original films who played 'Oz'Ostreicher is confirmed to be in the Reuion along with, wait for it.....'Stifler' that's right 'Seann Wiliam Scott' is going to make hs comeback in this film as well as Jason Biggs and Alyson Hannigan, and Eugene Levy.

Universal has high hopes for this as they have employed Harold and Kumar creators Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg to write the script which after hearing this news will probably be hilarioudsly funny. This film though will show both Jim and Michelle wondering about the next step in their lives

There has been no official word when this will be released but I assure you I'll find out, so watch this space.

Toolbox Murders 2 filming right now

Tobe Hooper's first remake of the Toolbox Murders which was considered as one of the 'video nasties', it was that good or bad depending on your liking for scary movies or as I have just thought of it as your squeemish factor.

1 being very high squeem factor and whenever a scary movie comes on the TV screen you have to go into another room as you can't watch them

2 your not that squeemish but you can just about hold it together to watch a scary movie but you have to watch behind a cushion or the sofa.

3 you don't do either of those things but you you can tell when a scary moment in the film is coming up so you have to look away from the screen.

4 you know when something bad is going to happen and you find yourself shouting at the TV screen for the main character in the film to 'Not go in their!'.

5 you do both those things shouting at the TV screen, knowing when something bad is going to happen and saying to your friends 'Why would you do that?' but you want to see how it plays out.

When you reach number 5 on this scale you know that you are truly not squeemish as you just want to watch the scary movie.

Anyhew, he is going to making the follow up to this 'Toolbox Murders 2', and this will feature Lance Henrikson, Brian Krause from Charmed fame, Ethan Phillips who was Neelix in Startrek Voyager and leading lady Chauntal Lewis from Seance fame.

The director for the film is Dean C Jones who did the FX work on Hooper's last film. In case your like me and don't know what the hell this film is about then let me enlighten you:

The film is about a half masked slasher. Hooper's film is about a creature that is descended from death itself thaty lives behind the walls of an apartment building and can run up lift shafts. This follow up to the first film will apparently take off where the last film finished, with the victims of the Toolbox Killer being moved to a nearby hospital and some detectives being on the hunt for the Toolbox Killer.

Leatherface 3D

This film so I read late last night on Empire Magazine's website has now got itself a  potential director Joeseph Luessenhop.

Twisted Pictures have now bought the rights to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre  movie franchise and they have now eighteen months on tried to come up with a 21st century version of 'Leatherface' which has been suggested is going to be a follow up to the  Marcus Nispel's 2003 remake and Jonathan Liebesman's 2006 prequel.  However this newer fresher look at 'Leatherface 3D' will be another reboot that has been totally restarted from scratch.

Also Stephan Susco, Deborah Sullivan and Adam Marcus have all had a hand in writing this. Marc Burg of Saw fame is going to be producing this film and Empire Magazine speculate that this film may be released on Halloween 2012.

The Great Gatsby

You heard it folks...this world renowned novel is being made into a film and Baz Luhrmann is at the helm, which by my standards is great news as the films that he has done in the past that I have seen 'Romeo and Juliet' and not forgetting the singing debut of Ewan Mcgregor in his version of 'Moulin Rouge', are anything to go by then it'll be an ok film.

But with the actors and actresses on the set of this film is anything to go by then it won't be a total loss of a film as Isla Fisher is in talks to play the film's 'Myrtle Wilson'. This character has an affair with Carey Mulligan's Daisy's husband 'Tom'. But just when you get to familiarise yourself with the character she dies from being hit by a speeding car. However the role of 'Tom' will have to be changed as the original idea was for 'Ben Affleck' to play this but he's all tied up with directing 'Argo'.

So, so far the people who have been cast are Carey Mulligan, Tobey Mcguire and Leonardo DiCaaprio. Just watch this blog for any updates on this recasting debarckle. Hopefully the wait to hear who will be next in line to play this part won't be too long and strenous.

Jason Statham news....well sort of

Just heard from Empire's website that Jaon Statham who in films never seems too far away from fast cars, gunfight's at the OK Caral, women and martial arts. these films I'm thinking of are: 'Transporter 1,2,3', 'Crank', 'Volver' (one he did with Guy Ritchie who went through a phase of trying to remake another 'Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels', but it never worked), 'Chaos' etc, etc, etc.

However, his new film that he has locked himself into is callled, wait for it....'Parker', this is suppose to be a thriller but somehow I can't see the film being that scary with Jason Statham in it. The story is that 'Parker' is a thief that at times regrets that his actions lead him to sometimes kill. Boo Hoo! Poor old little thief, I think the writers have probably shot themselves in the foot a bit with this as if the thief regrets doing what he does why does he insist on still being a thief. This shooting themselves in the foot does remind me of 'The Tourist' as the police were going after Johnny Depp's character 'Alexander,' but no one had seen what this guy looked like but were going on a sketch drawing that someone made as a guess of what he looked like.

However though this thief does have some ethics and rules that he lives by. These ethics are that he never steals from people who need money. Oh and if anyone crosses Parker that is a big mistake. To me this smells pretty much like a 'Transporter' film but under a different title. So if Jason wanted to move away from his usual film roles this isn't it.

More Batman

Thanks to iamrogue on twitter and Empire Magazine I have now found out that the final pieces of the cast jigsaw have been made by Christopher Nolan. I have heard lots of rumours regarding the cast and what sort of villians Christopher Nolan is going to use in this last film of his. Youtube has been a hype of activity on this very subject, so much so that fans of the Batman movies have even done fan made video clips and poster mock ups on Christopher's next villian.

However, I do have to disappoint a lot of Batman fans with the knowledge that I have as no one on Youtube was remotely near the mark. It has now been confirmed that the rumours of Christopher Nolan working again with Joseph Gordan-Levitt are true as he will play 'James Blake' a Gotham cop who is sent on a special assignment by Commisioner Gorden and also the rumours of Marion Coutillard are also true, she will play Miranda Tate a member of the Wayne Enterprise board who helps Bruce cope with the loss of Rachel Dawes . However, the rumours of there being a 'Harrlequinn' have been not been found out by me true or false.

Well I'll just have to try my hardest to seek out the truth. LOL! But before I start on this I have found out that the film will start shooting later this year so it can make it's release date of July 20th next year. It's got me worrying that the trailer that I got from Youtube thatv said it was the official trailer might be a fan made one but it doesn't look like it so I'll have to wait and see if this changes when the trailer hits our TV screens next year.

OMG I have hit the mother load!

I have hit the jackpot with the official Batman trailor, this is the official trailor for the Dark Knight Rises. I can't beleive my luck, this looks fantastic but I'm still at a loss who Robin Williams is going to be as a villian.

I literally feel like I have won the lottery or something I am that excited. It probably sounds like I am too excited about finding this but it feels like I am a kid in a chocolate store. Or that it is christmas. Just heard how this all must sound with me going on about how excited I am at seeing this, but I do love every Batman film that has ever been made. I also have to say that every time a Batman film is on the TV I have to watch it, including George Clooney as Batman and the one where Alfred is dying. I have to say that that film isn't my favourite but I still watch...even if Elle McPhearson still looks as youthful and slim today as she did in that film. God Damn her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have to watch this!

The Asteroid Galaxy Tour

Whenever I see the new Heineken advert I always find myself tapping along to the song that's in the background. Last night I saw this advert again and I immediatly rused over to Youtube as I thought if I don't know who sings this then Youtube will.

And I found it. It's called 'Golden Age' and it's by 'The Asteroid Galaxy Tour'. Here is the video for it. If you ask me it's a bit psychodelic and weird but I like the video as it's different.

This single I have also just been informed by Youtube will be released early in September this year. This is as LA Confidential would say: 'On the down low, on the qt, and very hush hush...'

Winnie the Pooh!

I've got it! I have found this from Youtube.com, I must admit that this has appealed to the childish side in me and has made me fall in love with pooh all over again especially my favourite character Eeore (I think that's how you spell it), and has me wanting to go and see this at the cinema. I'll no doubt hear from my family that I'm a grown women and should know better, but I don't care! I won't be told!

Bad Teacher

I heard about this from ToTal Film magazine a while ago and the first thought when I read this was that this reads like Cameron Diaz's life story as it's all about her being a really bad teacher but she wants to get better so she can sleep with Justin Timberlake.

Here's the trailor.

See what you think. This film is due out of release on June 24th. This does look funny and I'm pleased to see Jason Segal from How I Met Your Mother as the gym teacher that likes her, but I was just thinking that there should be film with Barney in it from How I Met Your Mother. That sounds like a good idea now that I think about it. But I think that there will never be a film made like this, but I can always dream.

Other film trailors that I've found

With the help of Hollywood Streams I've found other official trailors.

,

These films are: 'DayDream Nation', there are a few familiar faces in this, the one that really stands out for me is the teacher who was in 'Sweet Home Alabama', this must be a welcomed relief to his career as I have heard absolutly nothing from him since that film. The second film 'Passion Play' features Megan Fox, I haven't come across this film or any news about this in any film magazine which I have to say is odd.

The last film has been reported as being released in 2010 but I have definitly seen no trailer hanging around as I would have definitly noticed Niles Crane. I also just thought that this film looks like an extended edition of the Frasier episode when Niles has a mental breakdown because of Marise, but that it was only meant to be seen behind doors as it looks like it might be too thrillery for cinemas.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes

I've just been having my daily dose of youtube, and I have seen ,official trailors for two James Franco movies that I've heard plenty of news about but I was just waiting to see what the trailors for them

Unfortunatly I was just going to put in this post the other James Franco film but I saw the release date for it Septeber 24th 2010 and thought that it's not much of an exclusive piece of movie news. I also remebered the critics said at the time that it came out that the film didn't really work with putting the world renowned poem Howl on trial.

Hope you like the look of these trailers, but I was a little confused about Chase Crawford's new film as the trailor shows Chase as 'Charlie' and then he dies but he continues to walk around. This is a head scratcher. I guess the movie needs to explain this better. 50 Cent looks likes he's in a more convincing role as a bad ass drug dealer than his role in 'Get Rich Or Die Tryin' '.

Planet of the Apes will be released on August 5th.

Real Steel

This is Hugh Jackman's new film that I have heard a lot about but I thought that it sounded a bit silly and thought that it wouldn't actually get made, but here is the official trailor for it.

I must admit that the story to this film is silly as it's mostly about Hugh Jackmans' character being a former boxer Charlie Kenton, a prize fighter finding his way in a world where his beloved sport is rendered obsolete by powerful brawling ‘bots. Re-inventing himself as a manager/trainer/operator of fighting machines, he’s at his lowest ebb when the son he abandoned comes back into his life. Together, the pair finds an old sparring robot that seems to show some potential, and start to reconnect as they work on the new discovery.

Casa de mi Padre (house of my father)

Thank goodness that Will Ferrell has come back on the scene with another hilarious film that is sure to be in the same league as 'Anchorman', 'Blades of Glory' and 'Old School'. This film I have just heard hot off Empire and I have seen the trailor and it really made me laugh...it is just ridiculously funny but do we expect anything less from one of the kings of comedy?

This is just one of the many things that you have to watch even if you don't like his kind of comedy. I do have to admit that I have been waiting for the day when there is something a little different at the cinema that doesn't involve vampires or werewolves or something a little bit gothiky, that's why when I heard of the superhero films coming to the cinema either this year or next year I have been really excited like a kid on christmas day.

So here it is, hopefully you'll be a little bit better than me with wanting to play this trailer over and over again.

War Horse

Unfortunatly I was unable to get an offical trailor for the new Steven Speilberg film that's due out December 28th, but the handpicked actor Jeremy Irvine who plays the main character in this film (besides the horse), is in negotiations says Empire Magaziner online to be in the film 'Great Expectations'.

Rowan Joffe will be scripting this adaption of the Dickins novel and according to VARIETY Jeremy will play the main character in this film too. Pip, the orphaned boy who works his way up the social scale will be who Jeremy will play. Also, apparently Helena- Bonham Carter is also in negotiations to play the women who Pip falls for 'Estella'.

Newell plans to start shooting this film later on this year so that the film will hopefully be released in 2012. Let's keep our fingers crossed for this one as some films release dates can be pushed back take for example the new James Bond film, it was suppose to be shooting at the end of last year so the offical MI6 website says but due to the bankrupcy of MGM the shooting date was made skeptical as no one really knew when shooting would begin.

Pirates of the Carribean

Just thought I should put this trailor on the blog as I haven't put it up yet, but the reason I hadn't put it up already was because I thought that this was 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides' was the name of the second film. How silly of me!

Here is the trailor that I managed to get from Empire Magazine online. It looks good to me but it looks like to me that the person that cast the film has got someone in to play Orlando Blooms part of 'Will Turner'. Still Johnny Depp is in the film with Keith from the Rolling Stones, at least it keeps Keith out of trouble and falling out of trees!

Speaking of Orlando Bloom, here is the new trailor for the new 3 Musketeers film. Here is a more action packed film of this tale, which in my opinion is much better than any of the other films with the Musketeers in it, for example the original film with Oliver Reed in it showed the Musketeers as a bit of a joke with the scene of them betting a soldier that they would be having breakfast on top of a castle that was being fought over. You also can't forget the one with Charlie Sheen as a Priest. Thankfully this film is action packed and looks like a film for everyone including the kidiwinks.

Katie and William Feature Film

I have decided that I would put this on the blog as I had heard this was going to made by the Americans at the end of last year but thought that it might be a joke. Sadly it's now been made and I hear that the Americans have used two American actors which from watching films where actors have to put on an unfamiliar accent, take for example Russel Crowe in Robin Hood so this might be a little bit questionable.

But it does hit our shores on April 25th on DVD. So just to get you in the mood....and mentally prepared, here's the trailor for its UK release.

Specsavers new range by Gok Wan

I thought that after hearing this news and seeing on SpecSavers website that now Gok Wan has designed a new range for them.

I think this is a really god idea that has been coming for a long time as for a while as Gok's shows that include 'How To Look Good Naked', and 'Gok's Fashion Fix' have been for ages sponsored the shows and it makes sense to me as he is in fashion and I have to admit that I after seeing a few of his shows I have taken a few of his design tips and applied them to what I wear day to day.

I also have to say that I as a wearer of glasses have had a look at these designs and I quite like a few of them.

If you want to have a look at these designs then just go over to the website at: http://www.specsavers.com/ see what you think.

Caro Emerald-Challenge won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've finally done it! I gave myself the challenge in an earlier blog post to find that song from the new DFS advert, and I have after many weeks of hearing this in my head and hearing this wherever I go which is very frustrating as everytime I hear it always someone will turn to me and asks who sings this, and mostly from my mum when I say 'I don't know' I will enevitably hear 'Really? You normally know who sings any tune that we hear when were out'.

So here it is. The song is 'A Night Like This' by Caro Emerald and here is the official music video for the song:

Priest trailor officially out now

Just been on Empire and they now have Priest trailor up and it looks really good. I think I have to say that this is a better kind of movie for Paul Bettany as the last couple of films I've seen him in aren't exactly what you'd call films to get the awards boards noticing as for example: 'Wimbledon', 'The Tourist' (I wasn't really noticing him on the screen when Johnny Depp was the main man).

Also I think I need to mention Cam Gigomati starring alongside of Paul Bettany. I think that he looks really good holding a gun and in a leather jacket (I'm just laughing while saying this as I'm rather embarresed to write this but I don't care). I can't beleive this is the same actor who used to be in the cult hit series 'The OC'.

Here is the trailer for it:

Bon Appetite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

This movie has had a lot of rumours circled around it as last month I seem to remember reading on a link from Empire Magazine that Joaquime Pheonix was going to do a Vampire Abraham Lincoln film which I took with a pinch of salt as with everything that he says like how he was going to give up acting for rapping (Joke), he and Casey Afleck made a documentary (Joke) turns out to be jokes.

However, I now read that Tim Burton is going to be producing this movie with Timur Bekmambetov directing. Seeing who is producing this movie has got me a little excited. Also Rufus Sewell being Abraham 'nemesis evil vampire Adam'. Just thinking about it why on earth would Abraham Lincoln need a nemesis. I thought that the only people that have nemesis's are comic book characters like 'Supeerman' or 'Spiderman'.

The story to this film is that: Lincoln finds the 16th president of the United States (Benjamin Walker) battling the undead and slave-owning southerners in his campaign against injustice and blood-sucking fiends.
We meet the young Lincoln as his mother his slaughtered by the vamps, and he swears revenge. He’s tutored in the noble art of slaying the creatures by friendly fang club member Henry Sturgess (Dominic Cooper) and also ends up meeting his future wife, Mary (Mary Elizabeth Winstead).
The film will delve into the idea that the vampire conflict was one of the real reasons the Civil War started.

This sounds a little bit far fetched for me but I guess it shows what the world of Movies can do with using a historical figure and making him into a 'Van Helsing' character.

Mads Langer

As I was paroozing Youtube and listening to my favourite Mads Langer song 'Microscope' I thought out of curiosity I'll have a listen to his other records and I really liked them especially his cover of Olives' 'Your Not Alone' which sounds really good and really chilled. I also have to say that as his really amazing song 'River Has Run Wild' was used in the first episode of 'The Vampire Diaries' that when I kept typing this song into Youtube a load of clips of this episode kept coming up.

So I have put in this post the only decent youtube clip that doesn't have the actual episode with the song in so it's perfect just to listen to how weirdly nice this song is as when I first heard it I wanted to cry (That's right folks I wanted to cry to this song and I'm not ashamed to say it) but I was also smiling with how much I liked it.

I hope you enjoy it!

Birdy

Just heard this track on Radio 1 and finally I know who sings it as it has been going round in my head for a while now and i drives me crazy always hearing the end of it and not really knowing who sings it.

It is Birdy (I think that is how you write her name), and it is 'Skinny Love'. I think it might be really corny to say this but I think I have fallen in love with this song.

I have also found out through the greatness of YouTube that this is a cover song of Ben Iver's 'Skinny Love'. What a fool I am that I didn't recognise this...oh well! You live and learn.

More Fenech-Solar news

Just heard their new song that has finally goot them noticed and I've also seen a sneek peek at their album which I will no doubtedly go and buy as that i8s how I normally how I roll! Haha!

I have in the past found a song from a band that I really like and then on the basis of that one song I but the album that's why my ipod is all full up of first albums. Buut it does really annoy me when I buy that album and then I find that it is amazingly good, that the bands next album is really crap and and waste of time fr me to buy the second album. The only band so far that have not maneged to do this are of course the mighty Kings Of Leon who I am a massive fan of and have got all their albums including the pieve of golddust that is them performing live at the 02 areana that was filmed and put on to DVD.

Anyhew....here is 'Lies'. I have to say that I have heard this song before and I couldn't beleive this was them. This is really making me want to listen to the other track that I have on this blog from them.

Sorry to disappoint but I think I was a little bit too hasty in saying that the album 'Demons' was out today. I have just been on their official website and they're album is out their first. TYPICAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You find a really good band and all we Brits get is one song and not even an album. They are forgiven though as at Lulworth Castle when Camp Bestival rolls into town they'll be their so I am very very excited.

Allie Moss-Corner

This song is just one of the songs that I have been trying to figure out who sings it as I love it when I hear it....on the BT Broadband advert.

Finally I can say that I know who sings it. It is Allie Moss. Here's a video of it, I know it's not probably the best video of this song but at least I have a video to show.

See what you think.

News From Acrosss the Pond

I was just reading Rolling Stone Magazine online and America have done it again with getting itself caught in an embarrasing situation.

According to the magazine two soldiers who were part of Bravo Company's 3rd Platoon who were stationed in Kandahar Province in Afganistan since the summer of last year have shot dead a Afgan boy aged 15 years after spending months before the actual incident talking about killing a haji.

The actual event took place on January 15th last year. In the morning the 3rd Platoon that was part of the 5th Stryker Brigade left their base of  Forward Operating Base Ramrod in a convey of armoured Stryker Troop carriers. These then went out across the desert to a little villlage La Mohammad Kalay that was a little isolated farming village that was tucked away behind poppy fields.

To provide permanent protection the soldiers parked the Strykers on the outskirts of the village and set out on foot as local people were suspected of supporting the Taliban and strikes on the US. But whenm they were on foot they saw nothing of the kind, just destitute locals without running water or electricity. If there were any that supported the Taliban they probably chose not to go outside and greet the American soldiers, and chose to strike at a distance away from the soldiers with their IED's.

While a few members from the 3rd Platoon went off into a compound to speak with a village elder, Cpl. Jeremy Murlock and Pfc. Andrew Holms walked away from their unit until they arrived to the edge of the village where they were looking for someone to kill. In amaongst the spiky shoots that were at this time of year low to the ground, they found someone and this was the 15 year old Gul Mudin , who was killed as other offices stood still watching in the distance. He did not appear to be carrying anything even that would be construed as a weapon.

This sounds like to me that these soldiers were stupid as it sounds like they thought that: ' The Government have given me a gun what's the use in having a gun if your not goin' to need to use it all the time'.

Under the Radar Movie News

I've just been over to Empire.com and I have seen a 'teaser trailor' for the film with Daniel Radcliffe that is coming out later this year. It looks good to me and like something that I would go and watch which is strange as I will admit that I scare very easily and over the past couple of years chosen not to see any scary film in case it scares me. I am not ashamed to admit this, but I think seeing the film 'Haloween H20' at a friends house when I was six years old might have something to do with how badly I don't like scary films.

So here is the 'teaser trailor', see what you think. I have also heard who the nemis for the new Superman. It will be General Zod and this will be played by Michael Shannon. I've recently seen him in an episode of Law and Order Special Victims Unit and he was absolutly great in that, but he's also been in Revolutionary Road. That will at least stop the rumours flying about about who will play Superman's arch enemy.

Chairlift

I saw this song ages ago on NME TV round the same time as Marina and the Diamonds brought out their first single 'Robot'. This is true that Marina brought this song out first as lots of bands do this, they bring out a song and if it either gets picked up by radio stations or it gets lots of people downloading it, listening to it or just lots of press coverage then it goes on to bigger and better things, but if it doesn't get either of these then it gets dropped as the first single and another more popular tune gets put out to the masses as the bands first single instead of this one.

But I heard Chairlift's song and loved it as it more often than not got stuck in my head. This though was a good thing as most of the songs that get stuck in my head are really annoying songs like 'Taylor Swift' songs or 'Justin Bieber' songs.

I know this is from an Apple Advert but on it's own it's great. Well I think so anyway!. I just thought I've not heard from this band in a while, so I wonder what their up to now.

Twitter

As I have probably shouted from the rooftops already on here, I'm now on twitter following celebrities and bands alike, but I was thinking last night that to me following bands and other people on twitter sounds a lot like 'Stalking'. Or it sounds very ominous when it comes up on the screen that 'you are now following...x' .

I also was thinking last night of a song I had heard when I went for a drink a couple of weeks ago that has been stuck in my head ever since I first heard of it and it is really annoying me that I don't know who sings it. But one way or another I will find out who it is that sings this song even if it brakes me!

Metronomy

I think I've become a fan all over again with Metronomy as I'd heard them 2yrs ago and I really liked them but again no one was playing them on the airwaves but I was the only one talking about them which frstrated me no end. I was also talking about them to friends at school and everyone who would listen was looking at me like i was saying another language to them as no one had heard of them. However, I have had another listen to another song of theirs which I judged too harshly beforehand, so I hope you like them as much as me.

Patrick Wolf News

This is the most recent news on Patrick Wolf I could find on NME online.

His new Album that will be released on May 30th 2011. It also has been renamed from 'The Conquerer' to 'Lupercalia'. Also NME mentioned in their last issue that Patrick has moved away from his old sound of music into a more romantic sound which for me sounds like it could be intersting as I heard his old stuff thanks to NMEs' playlist with 'Accident and Energency' which introduced me into his music.

This is going to be the track listing for the new album:

'The City'
'House'
'Bermondsey Street'
'The Future'
'Armistice'
'William'
'Time Of My Life'
'The Days'
'Slow Motion'
'Together'
'The Falcons'

The opening of this album will be released as a single on March 14th, so I'l be waiting for this with baited breath and I hope he doesn't do what so many bands do which is they release a song which sounds great but then as it's not sold so many copies in terms of singles then they release another song and then everybody can't stop talking about them. A classic example of this is 'Friendly Fires' as me and the SUN Newspapers's music journalist heard of them months before they became possible with the amazing 'Paris' and I fell in love with their original video for this song and then they redid it.

Here's the new look Patrick. In my opinion he sounds like a more modern 'Smiths'. Which is fine by me any day.

On a lighter note...Freindly Fires new Album

Just heard this new song on NME.com and it's my first listen after I read about their new album coming out in the same issue of NME that had the news about Muse taking a break for a bit after they have headlined Reading and Leeds festival along with the 'My Chemical Romance' and 'The Strokes'.

Also I'm not sure if you'd class this as old news between music fans but in April 'Kings Of Leon' will be headling Cochello in California along with other artists

on the 15th of April.

Murder in Hyde Park...

I thought I'd title this post like this as it sounds like it could be a case for Poirot, which is a Agather Christie  detective character that me and my sisters love and how he can solve anything with the use of his 'Little Grey Cells'.

Sadly I think this case is only for the professionals though. As getting back to the story at hand, there has been a dead body found in Hyde Parks' Serpentine River. A walker found the body this morning and police dragged it out of the river this lunchtime, but as this is reportedly the hottest day of the year police were also busy with having to tell people to stand away so they could do their job of identifiying the body.

(No doubt as this is the hottest day reported then people will have seen the sun and felt the small amount of heat when you stand in the sun and the first thing they go for is the bikini underneath a summer dress and a cardigan, but this heat won't last forver and I can just imagine Londerners trying to rush out of the office as quick as they can to soak up this sunshine but nobody I think will be feeling the 'summery' effects when they leave work on the underground and reach home well after the sun has been. All of them will probably be saying to themselves 'It's freezing, why did I put this dress on?'.)

The Metroploitan Police say that the man's death was being treated as unexplained.
Also all that was being said was that marine support teams had recovered a man's body. This shows the police know very little. And while the police are doing this that Rio Ferdinand is appealing to anyone who knows anything about the knifing of a family friend 'Rio McFarlane'. This appeal is on youtube so I would urge anyone who knows anything to come forward and talk to the Met Police.

School Shooting In Rio De Janiro

Just thought you might be interested to know that there has been a School Shooting in Rio

A 24 year old man who told the schools officials that he was there to give a speech and entered the school at 8:00am (their time), then he started aiming at his victims heads. There have been conflicting reports as to whether the gunman was or was not an ex-pupil of the  Escola Municipal Tasso da Silveira school which is in the western Realengo area.

Soon after entering this school the man started aiming at his victims heads. Also it is said that after the attacker entered the school he was reportedly seen with ' two guns and a lot of ammunition'. He was later indentified as Wellington Menezes Oliveira later. It's also not been made clear whether he shot himself or the police who were called to the scene shot him. However an eyewitness claimes that he saw the gunman shoot himself in the head after he saw that he was completly surrounded.

This sounds like a plausable news story until you read further on that the same eyewitness claims that the attacker:  "...came into the class saying he was going to give a talk. He went to an eighth grade class, on the [ground floor], and without saying anything took out a pistol from his bag and started firing".

In my opinion if this guy had a bag with him you would start to think 'if he's coming to give a speech why has he got an odd shaped bag with him?'. I'm only guessing that this bag was oddly shaped as it's reported that the guns that he had were two revolvers. Also at the end of this news story the BBC have rather suspiciously in my mind tacked on to the end of it that the Brazilian Police later found a suicide note from Wellington saying that after he had shot up the school he intended to kill himself.

Coming into the 21st Century....big step!

Today I finally did it! After months of diliberating and friends and family nagging me to join the cyberspace phenominon that is 'Twitter', I finally did it. I'm really excited about this, but I've just heard something about Japan being in trouble again.

I know I don't usually report news stories on this blog but I am intersted in news stories.

Just heard though that Japan who aren't having the best luck in the world are about to have even worse news yet to come. From what I hear from BBC News on their website is that in Northern-East Japan has issued a tsunami warning after an earthquake struck  the east coast of Honshu with a magnitude of 7.4. This tsunami has been predicted as having a wave of 1m/3m high. Japanese TV has been telling people who are in the warning zone are to get to higher ground.

Also, it has been reported that Nato have done a 'Team America:World Police' on Libya. In case your wondering what the hell I'm talking about then it's obvious that you haven't seen the film and you really need to as it's awesome. Apparently Nato have been reported by the rebels and doctors in Ajdabiya as targeting the rebels in Libya and it is reported that at least 13 of these rebels have been killed in this air strike by Nato on a rebel tank position.

Really good Morgan Freeman Films

I was watching the laughable 'Wanted' film with Morgan Freeman, James McAvoy and Angelina Jolie in it the other night on ITV1 and I was thinking that I couldn't believe that Morgan Freeman would be in this film where his character is good but the rats blowing up after being made into bombs scene at the end of the film wasn't so good as I could imagine that there were thousands of animal rights protesters sending some kind of mail to the actors and actresses because of this.

On the other hand, it got me thinking about a really good film that I saw a couple of years ago with Morgan Freeman in it which was of course 'Kiss the Girls' and then it got me thinking about 'Along Came A Spider' and how good that film was. But I have just found out what this first mentioned film was called as I'd seen it so long ago all I could remeber about this film was the scene at the end when Morgan Freeman shoots at Casanova (the killer) through a carton of milk, which I still think is pretty impressive.

'Along Came A Spider' was easier for me to remeber as I'd seen it a few nights ago on the TV.

Here's a thought...

Lat night I had stuck in my head 'Skint and Demoralised-Red Lipstick'. And I was thinking when this song was in my head that now I'm living here down in Dorset that I have probably become like the girl that they describe in this song as everytime I go down onto a beach for a drink I always think about having either fish and chips by the beach or a Mr. Whippy which in my opinion both of them are a staplefold for when you go down to the beach.

And I always think of going down to my favourite beach 'Boscombe Beach' in Bournmouth and taking my bodyboard and wetsuite and doing some surfing and then having a drink afterwards on any weekend I have that isn't ruined by work!

Just talking about surfing is making me want to grab my wetsuite and get out onto the waves but I do have to say that nowadays I'm a little bit shyer than I used to be when going surfing as I'd want to run into those waves faster than you could say 'Macdonalds'. I even went surfing on my 19th birthday when there was gale force winds, but it was the biggest the waves have ever been. All I'm going to say why I'm shier than I was before is because I've been really ill.

Speaking of Cosmopolitan....

I just thought that as I had already posted about Cosmopolitan Magazine I thought I should tell you about how my company SciCheck Ltd. s' new Haircare Product that we are distributing over here in the UK SACHAJUAN Professional Haircare from Stockholm in Swedens' Overnight Hair Repair has been voted by this very magazine as the best Overnight Hair Treatment for 2011.

I am very excited about this news and how not only has this happened to the brand but a few beauty bloggers have tried and tested some of these products and just like myself and my sisters have fallen in love with SACHAJUAN. I don't know how I ever used any other hair care brand before as this stuff really works and doesn't make me wished I'd never used them in the first place as the other haircare brands that I usually buy from Boots or Superdrug  make my hair really weighed down, greasy really quickly as if I hadn't washed my hair in the first place or dull so much so that it looks like I am a brunette and not so blonde that my hair goes white in the sun.
